Rewriting My Fate in the Apocalypse

Leng Pan was starting to feel annoyed by these people's audacity. She was very tempted to turn them into mist but she held back.

The human population had already dwindled too much and she didn't want to contribute to the extinction of humanity. However, if leaving these people alive would lead to more dead humans then she didn't mind sending them on their way.

"Can you people stop bothering me and leave me alone?" She used a polite voice because it was the right thing to do.

She didn't need to attack them as soon as they spoke, but if they crossed the line, then she would not show mercy.

"Who do you think you are to talk to leader Ma like that? It's your good fortune that the leader wants to pamper you. How can you talk to him like that?" One of the women reprimanded Leng Pan and she could see from the expressions of the rest that they thought the same thing.

They thought she was lucky to be harassed by them.

"I don't need your help. Please leave and do not disturb me." Leng Pan said again, still holding back her temper, which was gradually rising.

"What can you do if we don't leave? Those men protecting you have left and you can't do anything to us.

Hand over all your firewood and take us to your house to get the supplies you have, then I might consider taking you under my protection." The Ma leader spoke again.

Leng Pan was getting more annoyed and irritable. Their behavior was repulsive and from that short conversation, she could tell that these were not people who should be let go.

They would probably go around robbing and raping young girls with every chance they got.

Therefore, she made the decision to finish them off in that forest.

"Are you sure you won't leave?" Leng Pan asked.

She thought that even though they were the scum of society, she could still give them a chance to repent because she didn't want to carry the sin of killing indiscriminately and the karma of so many lives.

However, it was as if she was playing a lute to a cow. The group of people before her thought she was bluffing and bent over laughing as if she was a clown they could make fun of.

"Did you hear that? The feisty beauty is threatening us. She wants us to leave empty-handed.

Little girl, let me be clear with you. You have to follow us today and serve our leader well. Once he gets tired of you, we brothers will take turns enjoying ourselves.

So, if you don't want to suffer later, be obedient." Another man in the group said with arrogance and the others laughed out loud again.

Even the women were laughing themselves to tears. Leng Pan could not understand how a fellow woman could be happy about the ruin of another?

However, seeing how unrepentant they were, Leng Pan no longer saw the need to hold back.

"Letting you scum live is polluting this planet. You should not continue to exist because you will become a danger to humanity." Leng Pan said as she got up from the log she had been sitting on.

She had not expected that the things she usually read in novels or watched in dramas were actually true. They could happen to her too.

Therefore, she decided not to be the weak girl usually depicted in dramas who would get abused and bullied and had to wait for her prince charming to save her.

Even after Leng Pan stood up, those people didn't stop and continued hurling derogatory remarks on her.

The other group led by Uncle Zoro chopping firewood a distance away also noticed the commotion there and stopped what they were doing to watch.

They wanted to see what Uncle Zoro meant when he said that the girl left behind to watch the firewood wasn't simple.

Leng Pan observed the group of people before her, trying to figure out if there was anyone worth sparing and found none.

None of these people actually showed any remorse or reluctance on their faces.

Seeing this, she decided to end everything quickly. Thus, she decided to test the skill she had unlocked the last time she advanced.

She could sense the blood flowing in other people's bodies. Therefore, she wanted to see how fast it could kill.

Hence, she activated her superpower and started to control the water and humidity in the space around them.

At first, the people before her were still laughing, but soon they started to realize that something was wrong. They could literally feel the blood in their bodies flowing.

Leng Pan had already managed to isolate the blood in their bodies. She could envision how it was flowing and could control it.

Moreover, because her ability to control liquids had reached almost a perfect level, she could also control which direction the blood flowed.

Therefore, after about a minute, the group of bandits started to feel as if their world had turned upside down. The blood in their bodies was flowing in reverse, which caused their hearts helping in pumping blood to be in so much pain that it felt like death.

Soon, all of them were lying on the ground rolling around in pain.

Leng Pan just watched them coldly. She didn't talk to them and just let them experience pain that was worse than death.

"Please, great aunt, spare us. We promise not to provoke you anymore. Please be merciful." One of the bandits begged.

Hearing his plea, the others followed suit and started begging to be spared as well.

However, Leng Pan went back to sitting down and watching them as if what was happening to them had nothing to do with her.

Since she had already made the decision to eliminate them, no matter who begged for them today, she would not let them go.

She had to make them die experiencing the pain they had caused others.
