Chapter 98: The New Overlords
Li Xian was a pitiful fellow. Despite the inheritance, he had a deep impression of the Super Clans from the Eastern Seas, and the knowledge about immortals from said inheritance made him even more fearful of these entities. On some level, Li Xian was prudent in his approach.
Other immortals greedily sought after Theft Path Gu Worms, skills, and knowledge due to their mysterious nature and incomprehensibly beneficial methods! After escaping to the Southern Border, Li Xian laid low and was never inclined to use any Theft Path Gu besides the Invisibility Gu. Instead, he revealed a Demonic Gu Master's way of using any Gu Worm they discovered. It made his Gu Set a combination of different paths. However, Li Xian developed his set meticulously, maintaining his battle power and eventually building a comprehensive network of exchange!—He said all that while conveniently ignoring the fact that materials to refine any of these Gu were too rare! Even Lo Jik felt disgusted by how challenging a few of these Gu were to refine.
His idea, though simple, was an effective one. Li Xian's objective was to reach Rank 5 Peak Stage as a lone Demonic Gu Master without any predetermined Dao Path. It indicated a lack of knowledge of Immortal Ascension, deluding the Righteous Faction to look down on him. He would accrue all his wealth and resources to go into hiding after reaching Rank 5 Peak Stage to quietly develop the Theft Path and gamble his life to become an Immortal.
After all, the slightest slip in Li Xian's path could lead the Super Clans from the Southern Border and the Song Clan to send their experts after him!
This time, these experts would be the mystical immortals!
One must understand that there was only one publicly recognized 'Thief' in the Southern Border's mortal ranks—Divine Thief Lu Zuan Feng. He was a Rank 5 Gu Master and could only display hints of Theft Path despite being recognized as a Phantom Path Gu Master due to rumors about his background connected to a mysterious Immortal Master.
Lo Jik knew about it. Like Hu Mei Er, Lu Zuan Feng was brought up by a Gu Immortal, who was even more powerful and well-regarded than the former's grandmother. No Super Clan wanted to touch these two idly because a battle between two Immortals would be nothing short of catastrophic.
As such, Li Xian hid under the radar. However, he was genuinely unlucky because he attracted Lo Jik's attention for several reasons.
So, after ordering Li Xian to buy materials for the Rank 5 Void Soul Gu, among other things, Lo Jik took several Gu Worms from Li Xian's stock, including the Rank 3 Slavery Gu.
While the Inheritance was plentiful, Lo Jik prioritized Void Soul Gu the second he saw it. It was not a Theft Path Gu.
Even now, his soul was incomparably weak against the experts. There was also the threat of Wu Clan, who appeared determined to capture his soul for information regarding his Ancient Strength Path Inheritance.
After instructing Li Xian about other things, Lo Jik quietly left the cave using Invisibility Gu and returned to his residence before dawn.

The scent of mild incense spread within a rustic room furnished with artistic yet archaic furniture. The room was small, unbefitting a Young Master's status. It had one drawer, a single-mattress bed, a cupboard with wooden panels to cover the body when changing one's clothes, and a small square desk. On the nightstand sat a metal mask affiliated with the Tie Clan.
A wheat-skinned woman with sharp yet lustrous features sat on one side of the table. Her tawny eyes stared at the two cups of tea, observing the reflection on the tea's calm surface. The woman's jet-black hair cascaded past her form-fitted battle robes.
'It's been some time since I stopped wearing that mask,' Tie Ruo Nan wondered, recalling her meeting with Lo Jik in Shang Clan City. Her expression soured slightly as more memories surged since the event.
The calm surface of the tea experienced a ripple before Ruo Nan heard a soft knocking on her door. Activating a Gu, she peered beyond the door, sighing. 'He's here.'
"Come in."
She observed a hooded man enter her room as a strange charge of energy replaced her room's calm and quiet. After closing the door, the figure calmly sat on the empty cushion, lowering his hood and revealing long, scattered black hair. A few locks framed the man's left side, yet they could not hide the slightly longer and pointed earlobe. His left eye glimmered green. Meanwhile, ancient bark covered the right side of the figure's face. Unlike a tree's surface, the wrinkled bark contorted into ugly facial features where even the figure's wooden eye looked alive.
The duo stared at each other briefly before Tie Ruo Nan nodded. "Did you need something from me, Gu Yue Fang Zheng?"
Fang Zheng remained quiet. He asked for this meeting. His stay in the Tie Clan had already exceeded several months. After gaining his Wisdom Path Inheritance from that strange purple-haired beggar, Fang Zheng put his skills and unique circumstances to good use. As a mutated tree spirit, Fang Zheng's body could absorb the Essence in his surroundings, allowing him to face Rank 5 Gu Masters. Also, due to the attraction of dao marks, his body attracted several wild Wood Path Gu.
So, Fang Zheng cultivated the Wisdom Path and Wood Path on the side.
His reputation in Tie Clan was not worse compared to the Young Clan Leader. However, he was not from the Tie Clan and experienced faint suppression from several positions. The Elders were wary of him, cautious of his goals. The proud Young Masters of the Tie Clan belittled him due to his appearance and the lack of an aperture. Even if Fang Zheng could compete against reputable Rank 5 Gu Masters like Divine Thief Lu Zuan Feng, he could not cultivate. The hope of ascending into the Immortal Realm only existed in an aperture!
Fang Zheng's aperture was nothing but a wooden block, corrupted by the overuse of Tree Spirit Transformation to survive Qing Mao's Blood Calamity.
Unlike others, Fang Zheng hadn't lost his hope.
Despite a lack of his aperture, he still lived!
"As a Young Master, you continue to reveal severe lapse in judgment. Since your return from Shang Clan City, you have displayed an irascible temper and continuously entered into conflicts with the Clan Elders. Your painstakingly gathered group of underlings left your shadow and joined the other Young Masters. You also disappointed the Clan Leader by stubbornly exchanging your Vital Gu from the Grass Puppet Series for the Curved Greatsword Gu."
Fang Zheng reported as he held the teacup. Tie Ruo Nan's numb expression didn't change one bit.
He was correct.
She was once a bright star in Tie Clan and hoped to ascend its throne. However, several Gu Masters now studied her fall and used her example in the academy to caution the young generation of Gu Masters to be filial to the Clan and Elders.
The change of the Vital Gu also displayed her determination to leave the Enslavement Path for the Sword Path. Her constant nitpicking against the Elders and wild claims of corruption eventually drove her team to other competitors who didn't spend any time spreading rumors about her regressing mental health.
And yet, Tie Ruo Nan only observed unmistakable confidence in Fang Zheng's lone jade-green eye as he smiled.
"Your trip in the Shang Clan was fruitful," he claimed. "You met Gu Yue Lo Jik and found clues about the real culprit behind the Qing Mao Mountain's disaster, if not the culprit's name itself."
Ruo Nan's gaze flickered as she thinned her lips.
"You are a Wisdom Path Gu Master," She began. "I cannot compare against you in collecting knowledge, predictions, and deductions. With the Tie Clan's archives available after your exemplary performance, you must have assembled a few clues related to the culprit, too. Am I wrong?"
Fang Zheng sank in silence.
"Enslavement Path represents dealing against the masses by using one Gu Master. It's a clash of armies. However, you abandoned that path, indicating your low confidence. Adopting the Sword Path suggests high individual battle power requirements, assuming you know concrete information about the culprit. Sword Path boasts one of the strongest offensive methods and is known to end battles swiftly. Your father was an Immortal Seed. His loss was disastrous to the Tie Clan, and they must have thoroughly investigated the matter before… abandoning it altogether."
Tie Ruo Nan clenched her jaw.
"Which means the culprit has an Immortal background. However, the Tie Clan wouldn't have let the matter rest if the suspect party existed in the Southern Border. They would have demanded compensation since attacking an Immortal over a mortal is…" Fang Zheng looked at Tie Ruo Nan.
"You can say it," she sneered. "The Tie Clan dropped the matter, revealing the word you thought was correct. Yes, inciting an Immortal conflict over a mortal is… foolish."
She exhaled deeply, but it didn't dampen the seething rage in her heart.
"So," Fang Zheng concluded. "To make the Tie Clan truly helpless, the suspect party must be from beyond the Qi Walls—an Immortal background from one of the other four regions. Those cranes… they emerged from Central Continent."
Tie Ruo Nan sighed.
"I know. Since you deduced till here, it would be a matter of time before you know the truth. Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing heard everything."
Tie Ruo Nan calmly relayed everything she heard from Lo Jik. The more she spoke, the colder Fang Zheng's expression grew. However, his quick composure surprised Ruo Nan as all the hate in Fang Zheng's lone eye evaporated after she concluded. Strength seemed to have sapped from his being as he chuckled bitterly.
"Power, huh?" Fang Zheng sipped the tea before he shook his head. "Don't look so surprised, Tie Ruo Nan. I got over my anger against you, didn't I?"
"You're comparing the slaughter of your clan to a minor dispute?" Tie Ruo Nan frowned.
Fang Zheng placed the cup down.
"Every dispute is minor in the grand scheme of things. You believe I should avenge my clan, but who genuinely cared for me besides Elder Brother Qing Shu and Shen Cui? My adoptive parents let greed ruin my relationship with my Elder Brother. The Clan Leader also manipulated me for the Clan's benefit. Others fabricated most of what I held dear."
The youth expressed a peaceful smile.
"But I want revenge. I understand it would be hollow. Elder Brother Qing Shu would like me to enjoy a complete recovery or rebuild the Gu Yue Clan. Shen Cui would want me to remain safe and satisfied."
"However, what would they do in my position? You were right that day, Tie Ruo Nan. Shen Cui approached me for benefits. But we shared genuine warmth and love. I would want her to live a happy life had I died and she lived. I wish Elder Brother Qing Shu had given up his obsession with the Gu Yue Clan and lived for himself if he had survived."
Fang Zheng's expression turned sharp.
"But revenge is the demonic way."
"The Clans take revenge for the dead members," Tie Ruo Nan retorted. "Are you calling every Super Clan demonic?"
Fang Zheng narrowed his eyes.
"I'm calling the act of vengeance a bitter and demonic road. We are humans. Ultimately, we choose the road we wish to travel on."
"Why did you want this meeting, Fang Zheng?" Tie Ruo Nan cut to the chase. "You're a Wisdom Path Gu Master. Do you have a plan if you want revenge? You're aware of my intentions. I shall walk the Sword Path—"
"—and leave the Clan soon, right?" Fang Zheng completed her sentence as her pupils shrank. "Staying longer and using the Clan's resources to build yourself before exacting vengeance will turn you into a criminal in the Tie Clan. Becoming a Clan Leader would make you a puppet for the Immortal Supreme Elders. And in the rare event you ascend into Immortality, the other Supreme Elders will restrict you from acting against the Immortal Crane Sect."
"You are correct," Tie Ruo Nan nodded, not hiding her intentions.
"How do you intend to attack the Immortal Crane Sect?"
"I don't know. However, staying at Tie Clan will only distance me from my goals," Tie Ruo Nan answered with a venomous look. She already felt a little sick from the constant red-herring, among other things, in the Clan System that prevented her growth.
"I'm like you," Fang Zheng began. "Staying in Tie Clan would be counterproductive."
"You don't have an aperture," Tie Ruo Nan sighed. "How can you ascend to Immortal Ranks to deal with the Immortal Crane Sect without an aperture?"
"I may not have an aperture," Fang Zheng began. "But I have a plan."
After discussing a few things and letting his intentions of cooperating known, Fang Zheng left Tie Ruo Nan's residence. Countless thoughts flashed in his mind.
'Tie Ruo Nan is too different from the one I met in Qing Mao Mountain.' He sighed.
Demonic…
Righteousness…
With his inheritance's assistance, Fang Zheng had pierced through the curtain of lies of these two paths and realized that they originated from the same point and need.
The Super Clans representing the Righteous Faction wouldn't wait a second to devour each other and commit every atrocity under heaven. Meanwhile, the Demonic Path preyed on each other, limiting one's growth.
It was never Demonic Vs. Righteousness…
It was always a competition between the System and the Individuals.
The first conflict between an individual and rules dates to the Immemorial Era when Ren Zu discovered the Rules and Regulations Gu and eventually tamed them. This signified that humans drew the rules and made the masses follow them.
'System and Humans…'
Fang Zheng glanced through the window, gazing at the bright sky.
'Heaven and Humans…'
An incomprehensible emotion flickered in his gaze before he calmly left the spot.

A lustrous purple ocean similar to molten crystals shimmered within the confines of an encompassing crystal wall with an overflowing aura. A sun glowed in the center, submerged by the ocean that filled 99% of the crystal aperture. The Rank 5 Hope Gu continued shining upon the Gu settled in Lo Jik's second aperture.
It was already a few days later since Lo Jik enslaved Li Xian. With others realizing Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing weren't the kind they should mess with, the duo spent their time in uneventful cultivation. Bai Ning Bing had ordered the materials for the Frost Profound Zombie Gu. However, he did not have the money to pay with. It made Lo Jik wryly realize that Bai Ning Bing planned to plunder Li Xian, an act similar to the former's method of enslaving Li Xian. It also meant the Frost Devil would soon look for Lo Jik to ask for assistance.
Aside from that, Lo Jik began to feed every useless Gu Worm in his arsenal to the Dreamer Gu. Li Xian needed time to collect other materials, and Lo Jik didn't snatch every Gu from his new companion, which allowed him to maintain his network.
The feeding frenzy peaked when Chen Jiu rested inside her host necklace. Lo Jik reversed the fossilization of several Gu Worms from Chen Jiu's stock and the ones he swiped from the Shang Clan and continued the growth of his attainment.
Meanwhile, the path he had already accrued master-level attainment for had their Gu Worms left to Li Xian to sell them. Enslaving Li Xian became one of Lo Jik's more convenient decisions. Now, he had a secure network to unload the most useless Strength Path, Transformation Path, and other Gu since he was already a master. However, Lo Jik did not sell Chen Jiu's Enchantment and Rule Path Gu. They would leave a clue for others to follow her.
Chen Jiu's set became a minor issue since it was too precious to feed the Dreamer Gu. Meanwhile, he couldn't sell it. Keeping them in his first aperture was also an additional pressure on his treasured realm.
Gu, like the Turn Stone Gu, also lost its use after Lo Jik got the Sustenance Gu. Keeping these additional Rule Path Gu that didn't directly assist his Strength Path set was a burden.
Intending to develop the Refinement Path, and with the deadline for the Inheritance's entrance approaching, Lo Jik bit the bullet and chose to clear most of the Gu Worms he couldn't sell. He had to change his plans slightly with the addition of the latest inheritance.
His attainments didn't experience a significant shift. However, his gains were nothing to scoff at.
Hu Mei Er's lack of response revealed her decision to wait to act up after experiencing another round of Inheritance. Everyone waited anxiously until three pillars of light suddenly shot out from the three peaks. The one on the left was a beam of yellow light, a blue one lit the dawn sky from the middle peak, and a fierce red pillar erupted from the right peak!
Everyone felt moved by the sight and rushed to the scene. However, the Gu Masters didn't hurry to enter the three pillars of light. They observed three figures emerge from different directions near San Cha's peak. Peak Stage Rank 4 aura fluctuated around their being, solidifying their existence as the current peaks of the existing individuals on the mountain until a Rank 5 Gu Master inevitably appeared.
From the eastern valley emerged a thin, frail-looking man with sickly jade-green skin. His features were sunken and gaunt, and an ominous glint continuously flickered in his grim gaze as the autumn wind blew and fluttered his robes. As the robes fluttered, a dusting of purplish-green powder mixed with the surroundings, forming a sinking poisonous gas that pooled near the Gu Master's feet, creating a mysterious yet deadly charm around him.
The One Who Dyed The Sky Jade Before!
Long Qing Tian was a famous demonic path expert, publicly known as one of the most vicious Poison Path Gu Masters, who also possessed an extinct Poison Path Gu—Rank 5 Jade Sky Gu. This Gu Worm poisoned the once-heroic Wu Shen Tong, forcing him to live in a sickly body. Jade Sky Gu Worm's poison was not ordinary. It expelled a unique form of poison only experienced during the Immemorial Era. Even Chen Jiu did not have healing Gu to deal with this poison, and Lo Jik's Fight Poison Gu couldn't hope to counter it unless he upgraded it to Rank 5. Even then, the Rank 5 Violently Beat Poison Gu needed days to counter it, leaving the Gu Master weakened.
Lo Jik's attraction for this Gu Worm was nothing to scoff at. He wanted to feed such extinct Gu Worms to the Particle Viewing Gu and eventually reform their recipe, producing such extinct Gu to sell them for sky-high prices.
From the Northern clearings emerged a short yet beefy man. Bluish scales wrapped these coiling muscles and veins, forming a thin armor that extended into a prominent shark skin from the back. Deep red, disheveled hair added a wild vibe to this man as his fierce gaze observed everyone before standing near the entrance. He was the Yi Clan's Elder, Yi Chong—a Peak Stage Rank 4 Water Path Gu Master.
Following an eerie chuckle and a wave of sweet scent from the Southern Cave emerged a bald Gu Master sporting pink robes and butterflies fluttering around him. His lustful gaze instantly fell on several female Gu Masters. Those with the Righteous Faction coldly snorted at his unruly gaze. Meanwhile, the lone Gu Masters narrowed their eyes, viciously cursing this Gu Master in their hearts.
Pink Butterfly Gentleman—Kong Ri Tian. He was the Gu Master present on San Cha Mountain when the Inheritance opened and also the first to travel inside once the entrance conditions became known.
These three Gu Masters currently reigned San Cha Mountain after Wu Shen Tong's death. However, the demonic faction overpowered the righteous faction. There were two Demonic Gu Masters against Yi Chong as the red-haired man revealed a grim expression. Although the four Gu Masters weren't allied to each other and held appropriate suspicions, Wu Shen Tong's demise skewed the balance in the demonic faction's favor. Many Gu Masters from the nearby mid-sized clans were suppressed by unruly Lone and Demonic Gu Masters, who caused havoc and loved trouble.
"Huhuhu… Hehehe…" Kong Ri Tian giggled. "What are you going to do, Elder Yi?" He questioned boldly as Yi Chong couldn't help but feel a headache. He might be fierce, but Yi Chong possessed enough brains to retain an Elder's position. There were three entrances and three Gu Masters. Besides being a cause of unfavorable tilt on the righteous faction's side, Wu Shen Tong's death was fortunate for the remaining three experts. They wouldn't have to compete with each other, and trade blows every time they enter the Inheritance Site.
However, Kong Ri Tian was a deranged rapist, showing little sensibility as he tried smearing Yi Chong's reputation. Despite the thought of not fighting the other two, Yi Chong had to maintain his reputation and face by being disagreeable with the elites of the Demonic Faction. Kong Ri Tian knew it, using this reputation against Yi Chong and goading him to make a move.
"Hmph!" Yi Chong snorted, his eyes darting around for a few peculiar identities. The nearest spectating Gu Masters had Rank 4 Upper Stage Cultivation, and beneath them were Rank 4 Middle Stage Gu Masters, followed by the Initial Stage Gu Masters. Then, the masses of Rank 3 Gu Masters crowded, waiting for their betters to enter the inheritance site first lest they incur their attacks.
Yi Chong was seeking Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing. Since those from the Demonic Faction were often fierce, he hoped to put Long Qing Tian and Kong Ri Tian against the duo. However, they were nowhere to be seen.
'Wait…'
Yi Chong frowned and looked beyond the small crowd of Rank 4 Upper Stage Gu Masters, realizing there was a small clearing within the group of Rank 4 Initial Stage Gu Masters.
'What is he doing there?' Yi Chong almost shouted once he located Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing standing alongside other Rank 4 Initial Stage Gu Masters with tranquil expressions. Their battle strength was beyond their cultivation. If anything, the duo should be around the same belt as other Rank 4 Middle Stage Gu Masters!
"Who are you seeking? Your daughter?" Kong Ri Tian spoke with a sinister smile. "She's yet to marry, no? Hmm, how delicious your dear daughter must be—"
"Shut your mouth!" Yi Chong roared with veins mapping his temples as his blazing hair flared. The scales on his body grew dense as he charged at Kong Ri Tian.
Kong Ri Tian laughed as he ignored the vapors condensing into a massive tide at a speed visible to the naked eye. His body exploded into strange golden butterflies with wings as sharp as a knife! There were hundreds and thousands of these butterflies.
Rank 4 Phoenix Winged Golden Butterflies.
Lo Jik had some impression of this Gu. Mo Yan's grandfather, his grandfather-in-law—Gu Yue Mo Bei, had ambitions of refining this Rank 4 Gu Worm. Alas, Lo Jik killed the man and robbed his wealth.
The butterflies dispersed into several groups, instantly unleashing volleys of attacks at Yi Chong as the man grunted and defended using the blue scales armor on his body. However, Yi Chong's fears became true.
Long Qing Tian suddenly waved his hand, manifesting a brilliant blue halo that struck Yi Chong from a clever angle. Yi Chong's expression turned ashen before revealing a bluish tint on his skin. His body trembled, and he glared at the Poison Path Gu Master.
The spectators were in an uproar.
None expected Kong Ri Tian and Long Qing Tian to ally against Yi Chong. Their intentions were evident as they wished to drive Yi Chong from San Cha to hog the Inheritance Site for as long as possible.
As expected, attacked by tricky blades that could slip through his defenses and insidious poison, Yi Chong had to retreat rapidly alongside his clansmen. The poison coursing through his body needed immediate attention, or the sequela might have negatively impacted his cultivation! Long Qing Tian's poison was notorious for this effect. Even one of the Four Great Doctors based in Wu Clan could not cure Long Qing Tian's poison!
Chen Jiu was the same, if not worse. She excelled in injuries of flesh, soul, and the mind. Poison wasn't her forte.
'Such an incredible opportunity,' Lo Jik smirked and glanced in Li Xian's direction before he discreetly used the Heaven and Earth Before My Eyes Gu to locate a pair of Rank 3 Gu Masters tailing his steps since he and Bai Ning Bing left the Shang Clan.
'Let's use them instead of Li Xian. However, it is prudent to use Li Xian as a messenger.'
With that thought, Lo Jik directly used the Slavery Gu Worm's connection. Getting the hint, Li Xian would soon approach Lo Jik for further directions.
The battle between the trio, though outstanding, was merely an appetizer. Revealing sinister grins, Kong Ri Tian's and Long Qing Tian's fierce gazes landed on every spectator before they laughed.
"Anyone who wants to enter the Inheritance must pay us!"
"Don't blame us if you try being a smart ass!"
Their arrogant declarations shook everyone.
"What?"
"This…"
"These assholes!"
"Hmph, the Demonic Path Gu Masters are scum!"
"Paying Kong Ri Tian should be easy for women, right? Huhuhu…"
"They lost their minds! Aren't they afraid of retaliation from the Yi, Shang, and other clans?"
A cry of outrage erupted from Demonic and Righteous factions alike. A few were scared of speaking out and incurring the duo's wrath. Meanwhile, those from the Super Clans looked gloomy. After the Wu Clan, Yi was the second clan forced out of San Cha Mountain! These culprits must pay!
"Don't go too far, juniors!"
Collected roars echoed as four old Gu Masters stepped out from the Tie Clan's side. These four Gu Masters looked alike and wore the Tie Clan's signature grey-black combat robe.
"Juniors?" Long Qing Tian sneered. "The way of cultivation dictates hierarchy. With your pathetic Middle Stage Essence, you four are the juniors! Don't force my hand lest I force the Tie Clan out the same day as the Yi!"
These four Gu Masters instantly adopted defensive postures as Kong Ri Tian snickered. "You drove them out? It was my butterflies that struck his weak points. Hmph!"
The disassociated ways of Demonic Faction flared again as the duo glared at each other before snorting. They maintained a united front on the surface.
'The Three King's Inheritance is filled with dangers and cannot be inherited in a matter of days or weeks. It will take years. So, it's better to use this chance to earn more and focus on the inheritance later!'
"Whoever wished to enter must pay 50000 Primeval Stones," Long Qing Tian declared.
"And every virgin woman must enter my cave," Kong Ri Tian licked his lips as several women shuddered.
Feeling humiliated by the duo, the Tie Clan's four elders clenched their fists and opened their lips to rebuke, only for a coy giggle to emerge from the clearing.
"You two must be forgetting another group that can contend against your might," Hu Mei Er narrowed her eyes. Before, she had hordes of men around her. Some were shameless enough to prostrate publicly. A few fought against each other for Hu Mei Er's affection. However, today, she stood alone. Even her peers noted to maintain a distance from each other.
"Isn't that right, Little Giant King?" Hu Mei Er glanced down the slope as several gazes concentrated on Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing.
Gazes filled with hope, anger, hatred, and several other emotions fell on the duo. The Righteous Faction felt humiliated at the idea of depending on these two, especially when Wu Shen Tong's death triggered the change. Meanwhile, several weaker Lone Gu Masters wished to enter the Inheritance since they couldn't afford the exorbitant price of 50000 Primeval Stones!
"You two…" Long Qing Tian and Kong Ri Tian looked solemn.
"Hmph! These two demonic brats are the cause of this chaos! We shall eventually apprehend them in the name of justice!" The leader of the Tie Clan's group snorted coldly.
Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing glanced at each other.
BNB: 'Lend me 50000 stones.'
LJ: 'Fuck, no! Who told you to use your savings?'
BNB: 'You basically blackmailed all my wealth for that Yin-Yang Rotation Gu!'
LJ: 'Bitch, please! It was more than fair, something your fruity ass never deserved.'
BNB: 'You know I will pay you back. Fine, no need to beg or insist. I'll pay with my body. You can do anything you want with my utterly precious penis.'
LJ: 'Shove that shit inside your mouth!'
BNB: 'Sigh. You're demeanor is lacking. What are 50000 primeval stones between us? Just pay. Thank you.'
Their instant conversation ended through their gazes and expressions as Lo Jik rolled his eyes and walked ahead. Bai Ning Bing followed with a cold smirk of victory that seemed to have registered as a smile filled with killing intent by the masses.
They passed the group of Gu Masters with Rank 4 Middle Stage Cultivation before stopping near the same altitude as Hu Mei Er.
Lo Jik calmly glanced in her direction before sneering. He intended to goad her till she collapsed in anger!
As expected, Hu Mei Er instantly looked pissed at his reaction as he stepped ahead.
Others wished for someone to take charge and deal with the two Rank 4 Peak Stage Gu Masters. They could strike at an opportune time!
The Gu Masters from the righteous factions fantasized about apprehending all these demonic lords at once, soaring their reputations!
Lo Jik flipped his hand, instantly creating a downpour of primeval stones!
In the distance, Long's and Kong's eyes brightened.
"100000 Primeval Stones," Lo Jik spoke coldly after dumping 90000. "Bai Ning Bing was also a virgin woman before she turned into a man. You can bend over and take his dick as you like, Kong Ri Tian."
If Lo Jik's action of paying broke the spectator's will, then his snide remark instantly caused everyone's expression to freeze before many burst into full-blown laughter!
"Him?" Bai Ning Bing sneered. "I don't want to catch some rapist disease."
Kong Ri Tian's expression turned frosty when Long Qing Tian laughed.
"Good! You two can enter!"
'This poison bastard!' Kong Ri Tian glared at his partner's open act of suppression. Long Qing Tian instantly acted as if he was the leader between the allied duo.
Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing calmly walked ahead. However, the second they passed the current overlords, the quartet flickered and attacked each other!
*Boom*
Frost struck a stream of butterflies before exploding. Meanwhile, boosted by Infernal Ape's phantom, Lo Jik's punch created a terrifying blast of air that dispersed the poisonous fog before the impact struck Long Qing Tian, who fell a few steps back with a grunt.
The laughter from the previous joke instantly dampened as everyone looked solemn and grim.
"Hmph! They are just measly tricks. You paid, so fuck off into the Inheritance." Kong Ri Tian pulled back as his index finger revealed signs of frost damage. Meanwhile, Long Qing Tian glared at Lo Jik, his jade-green skin appearing slightly paler.
"Very well," Lo Jik smiled as he turned around, decisively entering King Xin's Refinement Path Inheritance.
Bai Ning Bing unhesitatingly entered King Quan's inheritance.
He didn't excel in refinement like Lo Jik, and his Ice Path was a counter to Fire Path. The reverse was also true, and his gains in King Bao's Fire Path inheritance wouldn't be of significant assistance. That left King Quan's Inheritance.
A trickle of Gu Masters soon began paying the two overlords of San Cha Mountain after watching someone enter the pillars of light.
However, the Gu Masters from Righteous Faction could only watch.
Their leaders would severely reprimand them should they pay demonic path scums and simultaneously lose their reputation, making it challenging for them to advance in their lives! How could anyone live like that?
Long Qing Tian's gaze turned cruel as he looked at the group of righteous forces.
"Leave if you aren't going to pay!" He laughed and waved his hand as a small tide of jade-green fog rushed at them. The life force of plants and trees evaporated wherever the poison touched, leaving them rotting in a poisonous pool. The verdant ground grew green, drenched with insidious poison. Wisps of the green poison floated in the air, growing lighter and taking on a bluish shade!
Everyone's expression changed!
Rank 5 Jade Sky Gu!
"Hurry! Leave!"
"Ah! What is this—it hurts!"
"Focus on escaping. This Qing Tian is a madman!"
'He who dyed the sky blue!' Everyone from the demonic forces felt terror as their expressions changed.
They watched hundreds of Gu Masters instantly dying as the small stream of poison lay waste to a section of San Cha Mountain!
Long Qing Tian was cruel and sharp. Unlike the demonic faction, he understood that the righteous forces could band together. Such a force threatened his new venture with Kong Ri Tian. So, the man grew thrilled once he saw the corpse of one of the four Tie Clan's elders in the poisonous fog that simmered near the ground, constantly releasing bluish vapors.
"Hmph!" Li Xian saw this and snorted. He turned around and left immediately.
There were a few other Rank 4 Upper Stage Gu Masters unwilling to lower their heads as they left with ugly expressions. Hu Mei Er was among them.
