Chapter 117: What The Heart Wants, The Anus Gets (18+)

A recollection of events a few months ago still forced a chill down Yi Huo's spine. What should have been a seamless—practiced even—capture of a demonic duo turned into a nightmarish shit-show of the most prominent order for the Tie Clan, with repercussions felt even now. Despite losing its snow, the ruins of the battle cratered San Cha's foot. One spring wasn't enough to regrow the trees, cover the gaping pits, and replenish its splendor. A few more tombs and graves also plagued the spot due to the Tie Clan's belief in burying their dead in the same place of their demise.

Leaving the Rank 3 and bestial casualties aside, the death of a Rank 5 Refinement Expert, Tie Mo Xie, was a damning conclusion. But Lo Jik's recollection wasn't the only thing that shook Yi Huo.

*Srshhhh*

The nearby foliage rustled as he looked at the sky, momentarily dazed.

<<<>>>

How could the blue sky not remind Hu Mei Er of the imperial Wind Qilin hosting Empress Wu Ji and its battle against Tie Mu Bai, Wu Gui, Ku Mo, Wang Xiao, and everyone else who challenged her for the right to rule the San Cha Mountain?

Who could have expected Empress Wu Ji to materialize a new Killer Move centered around the Strength Qi, which can take her form using a Will or control her steed alongside the Gu and store primeval essence?

It was a sensational Killer Move that thoroughly solidified Wu Ji's name as the peak Rank 5 Expert within the Southern Border. In essence, Wu Ji could display a Rank 5 Battle Strength without being present!

Ku Mo, a Bone Path expert known for his Rank 5 Soft Bones Gu, learned the hard way to not underestimate the Wind Qilin since it displayed a human disposition and bestial might, which left the poor Rank 5 Demonic Overlord running for his life until Wu Gui supported the man for a price, or so Hu Mei Er thought.

Adding Wu Lan Shan to the Wu Clan's arsenal was almost unfair since only the Tie Clan could match their might…

For now.

There was a trend of experts seeking San Cha Mountain after the Demonic Duo surpassed the odds and left their brands on the Mountain.

Had Empress Wu Ji set foot on the mountain, she might have successfully deterred everyone and devoured the Three Kings' Inheritance alone. However, she was a ruler of the most prestigious Super Clan and had responsibilities beyond one Inheritance Site. Her current investments were already more than most if one ignored the Tie Clan, who had suffered severe losses.

As a matter of fact, the Shang Clan's reinforcement arrived two months ago. Still, Yi Huo did not reside near the mountain's peak, which the Tie and Wu controlled. The Wind Qilin could be seen slumbering near the base of San Cha's fork-like peak, deterring many demonic path Gu Masters from seeking treasures. However, it did not prevent other Rank 5 Demonic Gu Masters from the Inheritance.

After all, the Wind Qilin couldn't vie for the Inheritance, and entering it without the ability to use the necessary Gu Worms meant the Beast's demise. Furthermore, it was already speculated based on the Wind Qilin's somewhat passive nature, which was the opposite of Wu Ji's aggressive disposition, that it had limited output, and Wu Ji did not want to waste the precious Primeval Essence for naught.

It should be one of the most crucial elements why the Wind Qilin didn't force any of its competitors to the point of killing blows.

It had already been four months since the battle that shook the Mountain.

Hu Mei Er was ready.

She initially intended to take advantage of her target's possible injuries before refining him into her Vital Human. However, witnessing the battle, aside from stoking her heated desires, allowed Hu Mei Er to realize that it was better to prepare a bit more than rush things. Besides, Lo Jik wasn't that injured.

While others searched for the demonic duo, Hu Mei Er already discovered a clue.

And she knew one thing—if she could, others would, too.

So, it was best to get a move on.

<<<>>>

And Ruo Nan moved.

She couldn't sit still after suddenly realizing something. Sure, she might be a bit slow on the uptake, nothing like the Wisdom Path Gu Master ally still investigating the mysteries he discovered within the Jia Clan related to Flaming Beard Keng's murder, Tie Ruo Nan realized the cause of her recent discomfort was an invitation!

Lo Jik had put Tie Ruo Nan in a spot when declaring his intentions to marry her. It was not an immature attempt to risk her position in the Tie Clan or some outlandish desire to put her in a spot in the most ridiculous fashion!

She just realized it was Lo Jik's 'invitation' to insert discussion and negotiations between them—a way of alliance for what Tie Ruo Nan perceived as their shared objective and desire.

A path that should end with the destruction of the force behind her father's and Qing Mao's demise.

While the motivation behind Lo Jik's ridiculous statement eluded her, the need to locate him hadn't. So, Tie Ruo Nan kept in touch with Fang Zheng, hoping for him to try pinpointing his clansman through all the clues she had collected for the past few months.

That path was riddled with obstructions, and Fang Zheng was busy with Jia Clan. Fortunately, Tie Xue Leng taught his daughter well, even if not everything he knew. So, she never placed all the eggs in one basket and consistently tried to locate Lo Jik from her side, eventually attaining one crucial clue.

Still, how should she approach the situation?

By going to Tie Mu Bai?

That wouldn't achieve Tie Ruo Nan's goals.

However, leaving the Tie Clan's encampment without adequate reasons was out of the question, not after Tie Ruo Nan sensed suspicion from her peers after Lo Jik's false proposals coupled with her impatience and indignance back in the clan.

<<<>>>

Surviving the ordeal was easier said than done, with Lo Jik almost displaying the complete list of the abilities he could without raising further suspicions. However, the loot had been blessed!

Killing Tie Mo Xie was the correct decision since he gained several Gu from her aperture, which hadn't self-destructed!

While some were Refinement Path Gu Worms, Tie Mo Xie hailed from a Super Clan and boasted solid foundations, including rare life-saving Gu, which Lo Jik desired the most after he had to use the Void Soul Gu against Tie Mu Bai's Vajra Stare Gu.

It had to be known that without its food and only sustaining it through the Sustenance Gu would eventually weaken the Void Soul Gu, perhaps destroying it. Was it any wonder why Lo Jik desired more treasures of its caliber?

Tie Mu Bai wasn't a Soul Path Gu, but he accurately predicted one of Lo Jik's most prominent weaknesses before trying to capitalize on it!

What would happen if Lo Jik encountered a Soul Path Gu Master capable of continuously attacking his soul until they destroyed the Void Soul Gu Worm?

So, aside from her unknown Vital Gu, Tie Mo Xie's Gu Set was an appreciated boon. She may just be a Rank 5 Middle Stage expert; however, her wealth was likely grander than Tie Mu Bai and Tie Bai Qi combined. She was, after all, a Refinement Expert, sought by many to have performed Gu Fusions, Parallel Refinement, and Reverse Refinement.

Even Feng Tian Yu's Gu Set should pale in comparison, despite the former possessing the Rank 5 Five Fusions At Once that Lo Jik desired.

Either way, Tie Mo Xie possessed a complete Refinement Set. Even if her Vital Gu perished, Lo Jik deduced from her other Gu Worms that it was either the Rank 5 Green Mountain Tai Remains or the Stable Cauldron Gu. Lo Jik already possessed the latter and intended to refine it using its Rank 4 variant, the Green Mountain Remains.

Among his gains was one peculiar Gu. It was a Rank 4 Maiden's Solace Gu. Although a one-time expenditure Gu, the Rank 4 Maiden's Solace could only be used by females without any sexual experience and boasted physical defenses in the realm of Rank 5. The thought of killing Tie Mo Xie after realizing she might have been a virgin would have left Lo Jik depressed for a few minutes if he wasn't already a Peak Stage Rank 5 Expert.

Still, the Rank 4 Maiden's Solace fetched a decent price through Li Xian's network—it was also the only Gu Worm Lo Jik let Li Xian sell rather openly.

Sure, that would put a mark on Li Xian, but he was Lo Jik's pawn—meant to be used most appropriately.

Besides the Rank 4 Maiden's Solace Gu were a few other treasures.

Laughably, Tie Mo Xie had been preparing to refine a poison-based Gu Worm. Most of the materials in her Storage Gu now belonged to Lo Jik, who selected several materials necessary to refine the Rank 5 Violently Beat Poison Gu.

Furthermore, Lo Jik sold a few other Gu Worms not for Primeval Stones but for more intriguing materials available in the network. Unfortunately, his plan to squeeze the last of benefits from the Three Kings' Inheritance was for naught since he never found the Policy, Heaven's Will, and Wishful Blessing Gu. Encountering rare Strength Path Gu from a loose network of Demonic and Righteous Gu Masters was also somewhat unlikely, so Lo Jik spent time collecting as many rare materials for the Particle Viewing Gu that were sparser during Imaginative Strength's time and for the finalization of his Strength Path and Refinement Path set.

By the end of it, Lo Jik was left with a few notable Gu Worms.

Rank 4 Phantom Arms: It created several phantom-like arms capable of phasing through material objects. However, Lo Jik thought of a killer move using this Gu and a few others he gained from Tie Mo Xie.

Rank 3 Derivation Mind: Like the Brave Thoughts Gu, it created Derivation Thoughts within the Gu Master's mind, which were outstanding for deriving Gu Recipes and Killer Moves. Of course, Lo Jik couldn't make the best use of it since Strength Path Dao Marks within his organs, circulatory, and neurological systems were innately conflicted with the Refinement Path Gu unless he learned Chen Jiu's Dual Cultivation Method.

Rank 5 Refine Will Gu: The Rank 5 Gu Tie Mo Xie utilized to disrupt Lo Jik's and Bai Ning Bing's connection with their Gu Worms. It targeted the Gu Worms that were Rank 5 and below within a peculiar range until the Gu Masters could not control them outside the body. It directly attacked the opponent's Will within the Gu Worms, acting like a Refinement Path Gu with Wisdom Path profundities!

Rank 5 Isolated Mother's Love: Tie Mo Xie held the Rank 5 expenditure defensive Gu. Its ability to resist physical and meta-physical attacks proved valuable since it dealt with Lo Jik's weakness against Soul and Phantom Path Methods—at least briefly, or until said attacks ultimately expended the Gu Worm's effects.

Sure, an ordinary Rank 5 Gu would not deplete the Isolate Mother's Love's effects, but a Killer Move changed things.

And, to Lo Jik's pleasant surprise, the Rank 5 Hairy Transformation: Like the Little Giant King Gu, the Hairy Transformation Gu allowed a Gu Master to temporarily adopt a Hairy Man's form and the additional benefits of their affinity with the Refinement Path! More than that, Lo Jik knew that even if he was stuck in the transformation, the worst-case scenario would only be a permanent transformation into a Hairy Man.

Lo Jik never heard about Tie Mo Xie possessing the Hairy Transformation Gu. It was much too rare, with Imaginative Strength only encountering three of these during his time. Of course, the Transformation Gu for other Variant Humans also existed alongside their recipes in Lo Jik's head. However, the materials were scarce… Lo Jik needed Variant Humans as materials.

Due to his current limitations, Lo Jik never planned to retrieve the Hairy Men from the Inheritance site.

Unfortunately, the Dao Marks on his body suited the Little Giant King more than the Hairy Transformation Gu.

Lo Jik had spent the past few weeks refining these Gu Worms, living peacefully in a neighboring mountain while keeping track of San Cha's events.

Bai Ning Bing wasn't any different. Having attained some practical data about his Killer Move, the white-haired devil threw himself into cultivation. His aptitude showed signs of increasing progress, already nearing 93%. Still, indifferent to his aperture's recovery, Bai Ning Bing maintained a steady cultivation pace since he desired to reach Rank 5 before committing to zombification. Furthermore, he spent more time optimizing his Killer Move—Frozen Zombie Lockdown. It proved valuable for Bai Ning Bing's escape, and one use of the Killer Move allowed the Frost Devil to understand its untapped potential.

And if he couldn't tap down the Unchained Vagabond, Bai Ning Bing decided to tap that potential instead.

He continuously practiced the Killer Move in neighboring mountains different from their current residence, managing to lower the backlash every time he entered closed-door cultivation lasting a few days, if not a week.

Others would gape at Bai Ning Bing's progress since even Lo Jik couldn't have devised such a complicated Killer Move out of thin air.

Yet, despite his incomplete Aperture, Bai Ning Bing still possessed an Extreme affinity with Ice, Snow, and Water Paths. His understanding of the Dao was only limited by his vision, which expanded wildly during the Tie Clan's unsuccessful siege!

Lo Jik didn't stay idle, either.

With no current plans for poking the beehive known as San Cha Mountain, crawling with experts in every nook and cranny, Lo Jik decided to invest his time in consuming the materials he acquired over the period to advance what he could.

Before that, he began feeding the rare materials he had no use of to the Rank 5 Particle Viewing.

<<<>>>

Ironically enough, it wasn't a Strength Path Gu or a Refinement Path Gu material to advance. Like many other Super Forces, the Tie Clan must have sufficient interest in the Blood Path, or else Tie Ba Xiu would not have revealed a Killer Move fashioned from a Blood Path Gu… and Tie Mo Xie's storage Gu wouldn't have been filled to the brim with rare Blood Path materials.

Unlike several recipes Lo Jik wished to have followed—the ones that inflicted pain for raising a Gu Worm's strength, a good offensive Gu Worm, or a rare defensive Gu Worm like the Blood Jade Change he used for a while—he found the best use of the materials to advance the sole Blood Path Gu other than the Rank 5 Blood River Python.

A strange scent filled Lo Jik's carefully prepared cave. Its crevices glowed red after he quenched the walls with the Blood Thistle's nectar. Instead of disintegrating the pulp, Lo Jik dried them and ground them into glimmering blood-red powder within a small bone jar.

Being a complete Inheritance from Blood Sea Ancestor, Lo Jik was blessed with the eldritch knowledge of refining the Rank 5 and Rank 6 Blood Skull Gu. Although there was only one recipe to refine the Rank 6 Immortal Gu, the same wasn't the case for its mortal variant.

Lo Jik carefully studied the several Rank 5 recipes, each achieving the same result of refining the Rank 5 Blood Skull Gu.

Some recipes refined and fused several rare Blood Path materials to refine the Rank 5 Blood Skull Gu from no prior advancement.

Others advanced the Rank 4 Blood Skull Gu using varied approaches.

Lo Jik studied these recipes several times before. However, he never approached the list of recipes to modify the recipe based on his materials.

Still, Lo Jik was confident. First, he could preserve the Blood Skull Gu using the Green Mountain Remains Gu Worm. Second, he already possessed a framework of a Killer Move due to his stunning Gu Set.

How could Lo Jik waste his time instead of consuming everything he can for any amount of progress?

Refining the Rank 5 Blood Skull Gu had no immediate benefits. However, it was a task Lo Jik would tackle sooner or later. Already at the peak of Mortal Realm, it wasn't weird for Lo Jik to capitalize on the benefits of possessing two Apertures by… maximizing his aptitude.

It was a long shot, yes. But Lo Jik could only hope to achieve that if he had the Rank 5 Blood Skull Gu in the first place.

So, he set to work.

To some extent, Tie Mo Xie may have researched the Blood Path, but she didn't charter the path the ordinary way and leave a trail of blood and corpses. Instead, she was more than willing to expend her wealth for extravagant Blood Path materials readily exchangeable with human blood.

Lo Jik's synthesized recipe condensed everything into three simple but taxing steps.

To others, advancing the Rank 4 Blood Skull Gu in three steps was a wild dream. Even the Rank 7 Demonic Immortal posed recipes involving several different steps.

However, none boasted an arsenal of Extinct Gu as Lo Jik. Perhaps Blood Sea Ancestor could have had some method to simplify the refinement of Rank 5 Blood Skull Gu. But upon further speculation, why would a Rank 7 Gu Immortal waste his time with Rank 5 Gu Worm?

So, Lo Jik retrieved a skull-sized pitch-black egg with thin scars on its smooth surface without wasting more time.

The air around the egg felt dense, with the faint whitish scars oozing formless qi.

The Rank 5 Djinn's Egg Gu.

Lo Jik's recipe for advancing the Blood Skull Gu depended on the Blood Path's specialty of replacing almost every material with a better variety of blood, and the Rank 5 Qi Path Gu, once known to be a one-of-a-kind treasure for the Qi Path and Refinement Path Gu Masters.

The pitch-black egg appeared ominous within the glowing red cave.

Lo Jik's thumb caressed its cool surface before setting it within the bone jar filled to the brim with the blood-red powder.

A stream of wispy purple essence roiled out of Lo Jik's palm before seeping within the Djinn's Egg Gu Worm.

It was a known fact that a Gu Master needed a Djinn's Heart to refine Djinn's Egg Gu Worm. Said to be the children of Qi and the known predators of Giants alike, Djinns—alongside their competitors, the Giants—were long extinct from the Gu World. These creatures were said to be intelligent to some extent, having aided Ren Zu in his tales near the end of it, and were a type of Qi Path Beasts that manipulated Blood Qi, Strength Qi, Fire Qi, Water Qi, Lightning Qi, Zombie Qi, Rot Qi, Pleasant Qi, and more!

The Djinn's Egg was the Gu Master's method of achieving a fraction of Djinn's ability.

The faint white scars on the Egg's surface turned blood-red under Lo Jik's manipulation as the once formless qi invisible to the naked eye fluctuated. The egg absorbed the blood powder, eventually releasing a small lump of floating blood-red qi around it, like a layer of mist curtaining the Gu Worm and the bone jar.

A crystalline Skull on the side of an infant's head flew from Lo Jik's body and entered the Blood Qi's lump. Next, Lo Jik retrieved a massive tub of fresh blood.

He'd steadily stored his blood in the last few weeks, using the Blood Qi Gu to replace all the lost blood.

Lo Jik then willed the Blood Skull Gu to emanate a blood-red glow that deepened the lump of qi around it. He simultaneously activated the Green Mountain Remains to prevent Blood Skull's demise during any unfortunate circumstance.

The next few minutes were spent pouring mugs of his viscous blood upon the Blood Qi's lump. The glowing Blood Skull Gu absorbed his blood. Its glow deepened and turned more eerie.

However, Lo Jik stopped after pouring half of it before retrieving several materials, each precisely tossed within the thickening Qi lump as the Djinn's Egg absorbed it all and turned it into more Blood Qi.

Lo Jik began drenching the Gu Worms with his blood when the lump expanded and condensed to the size of an ordinary desk.

Continuously maintaining three Gu Worms, with one of them in the process of advancement, took its toll on Lo Jik. However, he could hold it and more after he'd experienced so much.

Once again, the frightening disposition of his body's ability to tolerate things more than ordinary and adapt to adverse physical and meta-physical effects reared its beautiful head. Lo Jik settled on calling it Divine Capacity.

Perhaps it had something to do with his Second Aperture and the Hope Gu glowing within.

Perhaps… he would grow enough to unveil all these secrets.

For now, he settled for not looking the gift horse in the mouth and appreciating his gifts by exhaling and activating a prepared Killer Move.

His first Refinement Path Killer Move… something inspired by the Frozen Zombie Lockdown, no less.

Rank 5 Undefeated Hundred Battles.

Rank 5 Multiply.

Rank 4 Phantom Arms.

Rank 4 Refinement Qi.

And Rank 3 Derivation Mind.

Derivation Thoughts filled Lo Jik's mind. Unlike the orange-colored, fist-shaped Brave Thoughts, each of them looked like blue tadpoles that swam erratically until following Lo Jik's command and assisting the Killer Move.

Refinement Qi oozed from Lo Jik's pores, entering the phantom-like four bluish arms around him. Turning corporeal, the phantom arms flew around the Blood Qi's lump and faced their palms in its direction. From within their palms oozed an ancient aura, further stabilizing the Blood Qi lump.

The Rank Undefeated Hundred Battles!

Although an expenditure Gu Worm, Lo Jik knew how to use it continuously using the Rank 5 Preservation Gu.

However, he didn't have the Gu Worm. So, he settled for merely using a tiny fraction of the Gu Worm through the Phantom Arms emboldened by the Refinement Qi Gu Worm. The Multiply Gu further multiplied its meager effects into something more as the archaic aura filled the cave—

*Puchi*

Lo Jik's orifices suddenly bled as fresh blood spurted from his lips. Had it not been for the Derivation Thoughts, Lo Jik would have already lost control, injuring himself and all the Gu Worms in the play due to a backlash!

He was a Strength Path Gu Master, with his flesh, bones, blood, and nervous system all modified using several Strength Path Body Refinement Gu Worms!

And here he was, using a Killer Move involving Refinement, Phantom, and Rule Paths!

Even if the Killer Move was complete to a certain degree, allowing Lo Jik to achieve his desired objectives, certain things—like the Dao Mark's conflict—weren't so effortless to overcome.

Still…

It worked.

The Undefeated Hundred Battles Gu Worm was a blessing close to the combination of Self Strength, Borrowed Strength, All-Out Strength, and Fickle Heart Strength Gu!

Its meager effects multiplied 5 times using the Multiply Gu revealed the desired change he hoped for.

This Killer Move…

Undefeated Refinement Palms…

Lo Jik intended for it to eventually become his ticket of refining and advancing every Rank 5 Gu he desired!

<<<>>>

Between Zou Clan's Leng Zhang Mountain and Che Clan's Fei Lai Mountain, San Cha was surrounded by many unnamed peaks.

The evening summer sun bled red through the horizon, leaving the distant sky darkened. The noise of wildlife activity surged in one of the many unnamed mountains near San Cha. The Tie and Wu Clan scouts had already swept the nearby regions searching for the Demonic Duo. However, none found the duo's trails.

The dreadful cries of the hawks surrounding San Cha's sky boasted the Wu Clan's rage for Lo Jik. Wu Yu Tan's hawks boosted his reputation as he hunted several Demonic Overlords before the few Rank 5 Demons arrived. Still, only Flying Masters could hope to counter the Enslavement Path master reigning San Cha's sky.

And much to everyone's dread, Lo Jik was a Flying Master.

His disappearance did not lower his lasting impact or other's urge to sweep the Three Kings' Secrets.

Similarly, Hu Mei Er's desires perhaps deepened after the prolonged separation.

Her form was nothing more than a floating specter in a seductive black robe that contrasted with her brilliant pink locks. She followed a familiarly sizeable back—Li Xian.

Their journey was quiet, with Hu Mei Er not displaying her usual charm and banter as if indifferent to Li Xian. Though alert, her mind was elsewhere.

Discovering Lo Jik's tracks became effortless once Hu Mei Er realized that her lack of grip on his heart and mind would eventually make Lo Jik admit that making an enemy out of everyone was more than foolish.

Besides, Lo Jik's impact on other Demonic Path Gu Masters did not mean his disappearance did not allow Hu Mei Er to recover some of her former network. From there, she soon discovered the sale of a few rare Refinement Path Gu Worms—including one Maiden's Solace Gu Worm. How could Hu Mei Er not realize that Lo Jik secretly approached Li Xian to sell his loot?

It also posed some troubling speculations for the seductress—

Would Lo Jik still be as pliable to her whims as before?

Does she have a chance to imprint his soul with her taste?

Refining Lo Jik as her Vital Human was crucial for Hu Mei Er—it satiated her private and cultivation desires alike. Lo Jik would be more than a mere resource for her. This thought solidified beyond belief after witnessing his performance against the Tie and Wu Clans.

The mountain they traversed was filled with natural caves and internal crystalline structures. Despite its beauty, it did not evoke a Gu Master's desire due to sparse resources and no spirit spring, if any. However, it became a haven for Lo Jik and Bai Ning Bing, who made this range their base through the Thousand Li Earthwolf Spider and Heaven and Earth Before My Eyes Gu Worms.

Li Xian soon stopped near a cave before tossing Hu Mei Er a collected glance.

"This is it. Have fun," his lecherous smile didn't quite reach his eyes as Hu Mei Er returned the favor by smiling with a pair of cold eyes. "I will, Brother Li. Don't worry, I won't encounter the Wu or Tie Clan and accidentally spill the beans on how to locate you."

"Hmph!" Li Xian snorted, walking away as Hu Mei Er stood in the same spot, using several investigation methods until assured there were no traps. Instead of entering the cave, Hu Mei Er quietly trekked the mountain for a few kilometers before entering a clearing blanketed by pale yellow flowers. A lone tree stood in the middle of the scenic stretch, offering the last necessary shade to a sleeping youth as the sun almost set into the horizon.

An orange-red glow reflected on the youth's unblemished skin as Hu Mei Er's sight caught his loose robes slipping to the side. His hair was the same as she remembered, skin as warm to the eyes as to her touch, a body carved out of practice, discipline, and rare Gu Worms, and a disposition unlike any Demonic Gu Master capable of leaving the mighty Tie Clan in a spot… as long as he rested under a tree's shade.

She'd known the man as the Little Giant King and the Unchained Vagabond, scars and all. The Rank 4 Upper Stage aura felt no less intense than hers.

He'd stepped on the mountain a mere Rank 4 Initial Stage Gu Master and had already caught up to her cultivation—not to mention his battle strength that stood firmly in the ranks of a Rank 5 monster and a mind that remained undeterred against THE Empress Wu Ji and Tie Mu Bai.

It was challenging for Hu Mei Er to control her pacing heart since the youth's defenseless look provoked a sense of admiration, fear…, and longing.

Despite Lin San Chi's specialization in Earth and Metal Paths, Hu Mei Er knew the youth surpassed that man…

'Only Mo Wu Tian… as a Soul Path Gu Master, Mo Wu Tian is Lo Jik's direct counter. I know… I can still feel his soul is as defenseless as before.' Hu Mei Er gulped, still in the same spot as before. 'With my assistance… we can take down Mo Wu Tian and nab his Inheritance.'

That would require planning, but Hu Mei Er knew it was doable.

With Lo Jik?

More than doable…

It might be an eventuality!

And what Hu Mei Er feared the most occurred.

"Waiting for me to annoy you by quoting Legends of Ren Zu again?"

He opened his eyes, reflecting a distinct clarity that contrasted with the obsession she'd thirsted for days, weeks, and months.

His hands rested under his head as he yawned without caution.

"I'm glad to see you, Mei Er."

The corner of Hu Mei Er's eyes twitched as she crossed her arms.

"Are you?" She questioned with a practiced smile. "Glad? Not infuriated?"

"Fury?" Lo Jik grinned. "Aimed at you? Please, don't start mocking me just yet. I knew what I was getting into. I kind of miss it… I guess it shows how good you are."

"And?" Hu Mei Er entered the bed of flowers as Lo Jik once did. However, her steps were unlike Lo Jik's since she did not press onto any flower, leaving the world's beauty untouched.

"After everything?" Lo Jik lazily straightened, grunting in comfort. "I'd like more."

"More…" Hu Mei Er's steps momentarily paused, and suspicion bloomed in her heart and gaze. Was Lo Jik crazy? Why would…

Then she recalled…

He was crazy.

Any person less than crazy would have succumbed to their circumstances against TWO Super Clans!

Lo Jik was a different man, nay, a 'reverted' man in Hu Mei Er's gaze—the way he was before meeting her. A being maintaining confidence against powers beyond mortal understanding.

However, if she almost made him hers before, Hu Mei Er was also confident in repeating her achievement. This time, she came prepared with ballistics!

"And what would you do this time?" Hu Mei Er loomed over the seated Lo Jik. A sense of dignity was exuded from her being, which threatened to attract even the blind. The black robes, translucent in a few spots, hugged her curvaceous body as lithe fingers played with those long pink tresses. With her back to the setting sun, her green eyes glimmered like a haunting wolf, with her remaining features shadowy and mysterious.

A coo escaped her breath, and Hu Mei Er's bare foot gently planted upon Lo Jik's chest.

Despite the oozing urge to rip each others' clothes apart, Hu Mei Er never lost her wariness. Her life-saving treasure and defensive Gu Worms were a thought away from activation as Lo Jik gently reached for her foot.

His thumbs traced her toes, his fingers plucked away blades of grass caught between.

She felt his warm breath on her toes as she resisted the urge to curl them on his chest.

"Not the Human Fly Trap Gu, that's for sure."

His snicker pulled a smirk from Hu Mei Er as her foot pressed harder on his chest, knowing she might as well be a feather on him.

"No," she licked her plump lips, eyes glinting lustfully. "I couldn't possibly hurt you, Brother Lo Jik~!"

Her smile widened as Lo Jik smirked before pecking her toe.

{Kinks Warning: Exposure; Anal; Orgasm; The Use of Killer Move During Sexual Intercourse.}

"Hnngh~!"

Relief and pleasure washed over Hu Mei Er as her back arched and her wet lips pressed further against Lo Jik's eager mouth. His tongue gave her no respite despite the senseless tingling rocking her form, her mouth gasping for breath, and her mounds quivering with an explosion of orgasm.

Still dressed, Hu Mei Er grasped Lo Jik's hand. Their fingers interlinked as she swiftly sat up; tremors of lust soothed her body, and her upper lips soon snatched Lo Jik's! Her other hand clawed into his back before gripping the edges of his collar and yanking his robe down. His free hand was no less ethical. Sinking into her pert butt through the tears of her clothes, Lo Jik firmly gripped her butt cheek while allowing Hu Mei Er to map every corner of his mouth.

Pulling back with a trail of saliva bridging their lips, Hu Mei Er sank further below. Her lips mapped his neck and chest. Her bites marked his flesh, eager nails ready to claw him apart before she made him whole.

With his back against the tree, Hu Mei Er rocked and humped the length of his erection, teasingly pressing it down as her gasps turned into moans once his fingers reached and stretched her pink rims—already wet with his spit.

"Any Human Fly Trap about to chop my finger off?" He grunted in her ear as she giggled, swiftly pecking his earlobe. "Explore and find for yourself, Unchained… or do I scare you?"

"Maybe you do," he huffed as his middle finger effortlessly sank within the seductress, most likely trained asshole, feeling the hot walls clamping down.

"Hmmgh~! Scared of little me? I recall one Little Giant King demanding an Empress to step on him, hmph!"

"Why don't you set me straight?" He playfully pecked her before tearing her top off, freeing her perky breasts to the elements.

"And how should I do that?" Hu Mei Er's hands needily undid the belt around his waist before tearing at his trousers, enjoying the sight of his twitching cock bouncing out. She pushed her wet lips against the underside of the shaft, pressing it between herself and Lo Jik.

"You…" Lo Jik briefly hesitated, allowing surprise to paint his eyes. "You don't mind?"

Hu Mei Er's smile widened with sincerity she never knew she possessed.

"Not anymore," she leaned forward, her fingers teasingly playing with the tip. "But I can't offer everything, Brother Lo Jik… do you mind?"

He slowly shook his head.

She nodded before alleviating herself on her knees. As she gripped his cock, a formless pulse aimed at Lo Jik's soul allowed Hu Mei Er to learn everything. The last of her preparations were in place as her butt momentarily clenched with anticipation before she aligned the tip against her wet rim.

"She inspected your soul again."

Lo Jik didn't respond to the specter hidden in his pocket.

Instead, he quietly timed the Void Soul Gu as his tip stretched Hu Mei Er.

Whatever Hu Mei Er planned, it targeted his soul. Lo Jik planned to act as a 'slave' if that's what she was after to get closer to her grandmother and learn her secrets.

Though each had their plans, emotions weren't lost to them as they leveled their gazes.

Their features bloomed with a gentle smile as they leaned forward and shared a passionate kiss. Meanwhile, Hu Mei Er lowered herself, feeling every inch fill her.

They gasped into each others' mouths and simultaneously activated their Gu.

A piece of Hu Mei Er's soul instantly tore from its central part and accepted every bit of the duo's 'taint' due to sexual intercourse. It traveled through Lo Jik's veiny fillings before entering his body and…

It found nothing.

The fragment of Hu Mei Er's soul tainted with Lo Jik's aura traveled into what felt like a void before suddenly tracing its path back into Hu Mei Er's anus and entering her soul instead!

Hu Mei Er suddenly blinked as her body heated at a breakneck pace. Her kiss turned desperate, and her hands felt more sensual as they moved under the tree, with the last ray of sunlight setting into the horizon, leaving them to enjoy the dusk with bodies as naked as the day.

Their clothes swiftly flew from their bodies, and their hands couldn't get enough of each other.

"Hnn," Lo Jik grunted, melting within Hu Mei Er. Say what you will about the Enchantment Path Gu Masters—either Hu Mei Er or Chen Jiu; the sex was absolutely a blast!

"How I'm on the nine heavens by your praise." Chen Jiu's snide echoed in Lo Jik's depths as he rightfully ignored her for the beauty moaning and gasping before him.

"Harder!" Mei Er moaned, her hips slamming down with a force that threatened to bruise the ordinary. She nibbled his bottom lip, ceaselessly moaning.

Hu Mei Er had been warned before—the consequences of the backlash from her Killer Move were extraordinary. Even Lo Jik hadn't expected such a response…

He saw something familiar in Hu Mei Er's hungry green orbs.

Without needing further suggestions, he hugged her back and slammed himself into her tight hole. Her shriek most definitely shocked and scared some unknowing beast as his fingers clasped and tugged a handful of her long pink locks to pull her head back and leave her neck open to his pecks.

Perspiring, their bodies squished together, and soon Lo Jik felt himself climaxing within the inviting back door.

Their breathing, rough and throaty, echoed in the bed of peaceful flowers.

Again, Lo Jik met her gaze and saw something familiar—something he'd noticed a few days after mingling with Hu Mei Er.

'The same obsession,' Hu Mei Er almost trilled as she sucked on her lover's lips while feeling a jet of hot cum filling her ass. It worked!

She's his!

His obsession was reflected in her gaze as Hu Mei Er swiftly pushed Lo Jik down while keeping him inside her. He wasn't about to go soft yet.

She knew him all too well.

She loved him all too well.

Her body begged for him all too well.

So, she rode him like a mean one. She wanted him to forget about Bai Ning Bing or Wu Ji. Just hers! But… if he asked nicely, she'd do whatever he wanted.

That's how she was… the Little Giant King's little whore~!

Her gaze never left Lo Jik's the entire time. That intoxicating obsession kept her going through her pants and moans. His firm grip on her ass was all Hu Mei Er needed in her life.

They'd live together!

They'd become immortal together!

They'd cultivate together!

Indeed… Lo Jik noticed it long ago. It was the plight of those who walked the path of emotions and enchantments.

After all, nobody can boast dry shoes treading the shore. One was bound to get some splashes.

Hu Mei Er wasn't different…

She had this obsession around her whenever around Lo Jik. It should have been slightly deeper interest, yet something entirely different reflected in Lo Jik's gaze.

He saw a crazed pinkette bouncing on his cock with every ounce of her being. Sheer, unblemished love oozed from her gaze, a warmth Lo Jik had witnessed before—something he tried replicating.

Did he ever look so pure to Mo Yan or Shen Cui?

What about Bai Lin?

Or her?

Those glassy eyes, dark-skin embossed with gold, and the cheekiest smile in existence momentarily flashed in his mind before he focused on the grinning Hu Mei Er.

He smiled… it just happened as he gave what Hu Mei Er wanted.

"I love you, Mei Er."

"Yes!" she gasped, instantly leaning down and kissing him repeatedly. "Me, too! I love you, Brother Lo Jik! I knew it! I knew it! I had it for you since the beginning!" She moaned in a state of realization yet blissful ignorance as Hu Mei Er recalled Lo Jik's obsessed gaze…

And found her eyes showing the same obsession as before.

It was her…

Such a realization should have scared Hu Mei Er out of her wits… yet the realization made her squirt with nothing held back before she weakly fell on Lo Jik's rising chest.

"I love you," she whispered, tracing his face while feeling him ejaculate inside her again.

"Mission successful," she giggled weakly before closing her eyes and sleeping as if tired.

"What just happened?" Chen Jiu's bewildered voice echoed in Lo Jik's mind. "Your soul… no, your body… something just happened!"

Lo Jik quietly brushed Hu Mei Er's hair, whispering, "I felt a trace of Hu Mei Er's Primeval Essence… improving my aperture."

A/N: The chapter was too long for additional alternate titles. But I hope I foreshadowed the true state of Hu Mei Er's obsession well enough. It was never Lo Jik 'acting' obsessed. It was all in her head from the beginning.
