Reverend Half Insanity

Chapter 11: Chapter 11

Administrator Fang Yuan's gaze sharpens, his eyes piercing through Demonic Fang Yuan's defenses. "It is related to something very big, so much that even this world is unable to handle it. And it is called… FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE."

The void around them begins to tremble, as if it cannot bear the weight of the term. The very fabric of existence seems to warp and distort, as though countless stars are collapsing under the pressure. Demonic Fang Yuan feels an intense, crushing force pressing down on him, as if the entire universe has declared war against him. His body shakes violently, every fiber of his being rebelling against him. An invisible force, ancient and omnipotent, seeks to exterminate him.

Administrator Fang Yuan watches with a cold, detached amusement. "Look," he says, his voice dripping with mockery, "just hearing this term makes your very essence and every fiber of your being betray you. As if there is an invisible force that is the true owner of you."

With a wave of his hand, Administrator Fang Yuan suppresses the pressure, allowing Demonic Fang Yuan to breathe, to think. Even in this state, Demonic Fang Yuan remains eerily calm. His mind races, analyzing the term, searching for meaning, for context.

"Forbidden Knowledge," Demonic Fang Yuan repeats, his voice devoid of emotion. "I have never heard this term. As I had anticipated, there is a very big scheme at play. Even after merging myself with this world, I couldn't even come to know this term. And it looks like it is truly dangerous—something I hadn't anticipated. It feels as though every fiber of my being is working against me to exterminate me. A new experience."

Administrator Fang Yuan smirks, his expression dark, as if even he cannot reveal everything. "I can't say exactly why I can't tell you about Forbidden Knowledge or why you have never come across this term before. But I can give you an example, one that will help you scratch the surface, just a little. Can you recall the history of the Dragonman race and their extermination?"

Demonic Fang Yuan responds emotionlessly, his tone casual, as if discussing something trivial. "Duke Long was the creator of the Dragonman race. He created a way to modify normal humans and turn them into Dragonmen, as they had longer lifespans and were naturally strong with enslavement. When the Dragonman race began to show signs of replacing humans, he used just his mere thought to exterminate every single one of them. No matter how powerful they were, they couldn't even defend themselves, as if their very essence and every fiber of their being was under his control."

Administrator Fang Yuan nods, his expression darkening as if he is about to reveal a truth so horrifying it could shatter minds. "Exactly. Now, think about this: if Duke Long could exterminate an entire race with a mere thought, how much more powerful do you think Forbidden Knowledge is? It is so terrifying, so destructive, that even the faintest exposure can annihilate any being or object. No one or nothing can hold even the tiniest fragment of it—once something comes into contact with Forbidden Knowledge, it simply ceases to exist, vanishing into nothingness as though it were never there to begin with."

He pauses, letting the weight of his words sink in. "Even after merging the world into your immortal aperture and becoming unimaginably powerful, you couldn't even comprehend a single fragment of it. Ha ha ha."

The laughter echoes through the void, sharp and cutting, a reminder of the being's absolute dominion. Demonic Fang Yuan remains still, his face a mask of indifference, but beneath the surface, his mind churns, analyzing, calculating, searching for a way to grasp the ungraspable.

Suddenly, the suffocating silence returns, heavier than before. Even in the stillness, Administrator Fang Yuan's presence looms like a paused apocalypse, as if hell itself has frozen to amplify the terror. The air grows denser, colder, as though the void itself is holding its breath. Then, his voice cuts through the silence, sharp and dangerous, each word dripping with a menace that feels like a blade pressed against the throat of existence itself.

"You are an otherworldly demon," he says, his voice low and deliberate, carrying a weight that makes the void tremble. "You came from another world to this one. But you don't know how you arrived here, do you?" The tension grows thicker, the pressure mounting as if the universe itself is straining under the weight of his words.

He pauses, letting the implication sink in, his gaze piercing through Demonic Fang Yuan like a spear of pure dread. "I can't tell you how or why you came to this world," he continues, his tone dark and foreboding, "because it is part of Forbidden Knowledge. But I can say this much: all otherworldly demons, including you, are connected to something vast and powerful—something called the Forbidden Beings. Ha ha ha."

The laughter that follows is chilling, echoing through the void like the tolling of a death knell. The void itself begins to shake, as if recoiling in fear from the mere mention of the term. The air grows heavier, the pressure intensifying, as though the fabric of reality is struggling to contain the weight of what has been revealed.

Demonic Fang Yuan's expression remains impassive, his face a mask of cold indifference. But his mind races, analyzing every word, every implication. "Interesting," he says, his voice calm and devoid of emotion, yet carrying a faint undercurrent of curiosity.

Administrator Fang Yuan's smirk deepens, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous light. "Who the Forbidden Beings truly are," he continues, his voice dropping to a whisper that somehow carries the weight of a thunderclap, "and what the connection is between otherworldly demons and the Forbidden Beings—that is Forbidden Knowledge. And so, it cannot be told. Ha ha ha!"

The laughter echoes again, sharper, more menacing, as if mocking the very concept of understanding. The void around them quivers, the darkness itself seeming to recoil in fear. The air grows colder, the pressure more oppressive, as though the universe itself is warning them to stop, to go no further.

Demonic Fang Yuan stands motionless, his mind a whirlwind of calculations and hypotheses. The term Forbidden Beings lingers in his thoughts, a puzzle he cannot yet solve. His eyes, dark and unreadable, reflect nothing but a cold, analytical focus. He does not fear the unknown; he dissects it, studies it, seeks to dominate it.
