" I'm fine Harry, actually i'm doing pretty good! ", I smiled at Harry. Harry's eyes widened as I put my hand on his shoulder. " I'm just very excited to be at the science exhibit, that's all! ".

" That's funny, that's the first time you've been happy in a long time without looking at MJ. ", Harry laughed while playing with his glasses. ' MJ, that's right! I had asked her out the last time we talked in the exhibit! I don't know if I should talk to her this time though since it causes so many problems like me or Ned getting beat and Flash crashing out.'

Suddenly, I felt the wetness and pinch of a spitball on my neck. ' It's Flash. '. I immediately looked behind, my assumption was correct. " Hey P.P., you like that saliva-goodness? ", Flash chuckled. ' It's weird seeing him laugh after I last saw him crying like a literal child, but... why did he spitball me? he didn't do that before, is it because I didn't scream this time? '

Suddenly the bus driver made an announcement to the whole class, " We will be arriving in five minutes. ". After hearing the driver's voice on the intercom, I immediately got to work hatching my plan to save everyone. ' I have to get bit. It's my destiny. But I don't want Uncle Ben, Aunt May, or anyone to die. I need to make sure everyone survives. But first I need to get bit by the spider. I should talk to Harry it feels like I haven't talked to him in FOREVER and he IS my bestie'

"Yo Harry" "yea?" "if your leg got cut off would it hurt?" I asked an obviously dumb question. "Yeah obviously-" "But where would it hurt though? you got no leg"

"hold up you're on to something" Harry replied feigning stupidity. after our goofy conversation, Harry suddenly said something in a slightly serious tone. "you seem different Pete" "Hm? how" "You just seem... less timid" 'i guess he's right since with everything that is on my mind I hardly can afford to waste time being scared' " also harry didn't flash mention getting expelled if he got in one more fight?" I inquired "Yeah he said that not even 10 minutes ago how'd you forget?" he answered confused "Guess I'm getting amnesia" I joked ' I mean for me it's been like a week since he's said it but maybe that's another reason he was crying.'

Once we arrived Harry and I got off the bus and into the exhibit entrance. " Harry, wait for me in there, I have to make a call. ", I said to Harry pointing at my phone. ' It felt wrong lying to Harry, But he wouldn't approve if I got an innocent kid beaten up so I had to do it.'

" Hey Ned! ", I called out to Ned. Ned Leeds was pretty chubby so he slowly rotated towards me. " Oh hey Peter, what do you need? ", Ned asked. " Oh and do you mind if you can give me the Biology homework answers tomorrow? ". I smiled at Ned before asking him a favor, " Can you give Harry this pen? he dropped it. ". I proceeded to give Ned my pen. ' I need to distract Ned there isn't a chance he gets beat up, even if I don't plan on talking to MJ, but I did have to sacrifice my own pen. '

Ned being the politely dumb person he is agrees and takes it with him. I then went on my own inside the exhibit to look out for the spider that would bite me. The rest of the class was at the spider exhibit. The exact same spot where the spider is. ' I have to hurry up and get bit '

But I could not find it anywhere. ' Damn it! I knew I should've made the conversation with Ned quick so I could get bitten early. I paced around the area frantically looking insane, but It was at that moment I found it. It was on the ground laying motionless. 'it's dead...'

I picked it up immediately. ' No please! My plan can't fail! '. I placed the spider against my skin, hoping that it would bite. ' Please! please! please! Please! Please! BITE ME!. my heart was racing 'If it's died will I have to kill myself again? I don't even want to do that again!'

I looked down, and I saw a red bump form on my hand. ' Thank god! thank fucking GOD! aw... wait.. It feels absolutely awful, the pain's still the same, But I'm just glad I was able to get bit.'

I scurried to the bathroom to wash the bitten area however in my hurry I accidentally bumped into someone. "oh sorr- oh it's you Peter" " Hey, MJ. ", I spoke to MJ. 'I didn't wanna talk to her but I can't be rude now...'

"sorry for bumping into you I was just in a hurry cuz of this," I said pointing at the red swollen area on my hand "But ignoring that how do you feel about the field trip?" I asked making small talk 'actually... I've just had an idea involving MJ but I need to talk to her a bit before asking a favor' "Some somethings are interesting I guessss... but it's kinda hard to understand some of this stuff" MJ answered "And how do you know flash he seems to pick on you EXTRA and i tried asking but he seemed kinda embarrassed to tell me" she asked

" I've known him since grade school! We were old friends. ". 'i've noticed I'm not really nervous when talking to MJ anymore probably because I've done it so many times it feels natural' "Did he bully you back then? ", MJ asked. I looked down at my swollen hand, " We were actually great friends when we were younger. Heck my aunt even has a photo of us as preschoolers playing with water guns in a pool. ".

'man.. this guy really needs some therapy' Flash began to approach me with malicious intent 'i should just prepare for the beating' however before he could get into arms reach a head full of ruby red hair replaced his visage. "FLASH CUT IT OUT! he wasn't even FLIRTING WITH ME" MJ scolded Flash "You should take care of that swelling, I can handle myself" MJ spoke to me, absent of her prior furious tone. "Yes ma'am!" I joked saluting "Ha!" she chuckled.

I began to head towards the bathroom to clean up my wounds. ' Now all I have to do is wait until tomorrow to save Uncle Ben and Aunt May and hopefully never have to return by death ever again. '

The exhibit was over and it's time to go back to the bus. I made my steps towards the bus, avoiding the Sudan I could hear Flash and MJ fight. 'Even though I hate how Flash treats her, I knew I shouldn't intervene she's not weak and she doesn't need a knight in shining armor.'

Again once after arriving home i rush to my bed with the pain of my transformation already starting, but baring the pain i stop before entering my room, writing my teeth i yell "I'm not feeling well! ima take nap,

After the nap, I rushed quickly into the kitchen where I saw Uncle Ben wash the dishes, " UNCLE BEN! ", I yelled.

" What? Peter, be careful, I'm losing my ability to hear every day. Don't be screaming in my ears. ", My uncle Ben scolded me as he grabbed my shoulders. " I'm sorry. But I was wondering if you could take me to the library later? ", I asked Uncle Ben politely.

" Alright, Peter. ", My uncle replied, drying his hands, " I need to get eggs anyway. ". 'Now I have to make sure that tonight, Uncle Ben does not get shot. MJ will take care of Aunt May. So she'll be fine. '.

Many hours have passes and I've been waiting patiently for the doorbell to ring. ' MJ hasn't been inside my house in years. '. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I ran down to the living room only to see the appearance of a goddess in my living room. " Hi May, Hi Peter, Hi Ben! ", MJ greeted us, " I brought scrabble! ".

" We won't be gone long, May. ", My uncle ben assured my aunt. I took one last look at MJ before leaving through the door, ' Please take care of her, MJ. Her life is in your hands. '. My uncle jumpstarted our car and we began to drive to the library. " Peter, when was the last time you willingly wanted to go hang out with me? ", My uncle chuckled, " Now all you do when you come home is stay in your room, only coming out for dinner. ". My face went pale when Uncle ben said that, ' I have been a big jerk to my uncle and aunt. '.

" Hey Peter, ", My uncle Ben smiled at me. I looked towards my uncle and responded, " What? ". My uncle's smile got bigger, " I saw the way you were looking at Mary Jane, you like her don't you? ". My uncle grinned. ' My uncle was always a genius when it came to reading people's emotions '. I couldn't help but blush when uncle said that, ' even if I try to pretend I don't like her, my feelings for MJ will always come out. '

My uncle Ben stopped at the curb outside the library, " Don't exhaust your eyes, see you later, Peter! ", My uncle Ben said to me as I opened the door. " Bye, Uncle Ben. ", I responded. I walked over to the wrestling warehouse and began to wait by the entrance. 'last time I tried this I saved Uncle Ben so no need to fix whats not broken.' I kept on waiting and waiting, seeing giant wrestlers come in and out. 'only if the bite made me that huge maybe MJ would like me more, but oh well I'm well past that now'

That was when I heard screaming "AHHH HE"S GOT A GUN". ' that's my queue! I'm going to beat the shit out of this guy. '. The robber sprinted, holding the sack of money. " Kid, stop that guy! ", the officer behind him yelled. I tightened up my body and rolled up my sleeves.

I knocked the mugger on the floor, ' Damn I punched him so hard his jaw did a 160 turn around his face. '. The robber dropped the bag of money and sprinted out, my heart was racing because of the situation blood leaking from his mouth with breathing raggedly. " Good job, kid. ", the police officer thanked me after I handed him the bag. 'Really? no sticker? '.

I made my way out the door and saw Uncle Ben walking out of the grocery store with two dozen eggs while smoking a cigarette. I ran over to Uncle Ben across the street and gave him a hug, " Woah Pete, be careful don't you know I have scoliosis?. ", My Uncle Ben said, protecting the eggs, " these were the last eggs in there you know? and when did you get this strong?. ". 'huff finally the robber's been dealt with!'

I helped Uncle Ben carry the eggs to the car, I smiled the whole time. " Let's hope your aunt isn't wiping the floor with your girlfriend in Scrabble." "My uncle ben chuckled as he started the car, " Now let me set the GPS to-"

" Hey Uncle Ben, you mind if we use a different road to get home? ", I panted in fear. My uncle looked confused, " Why? I always use this route to go home whenever I go grocery shopping. ".

" Uncle Ben what was the thing you and Aunt May's therapist told you the other day? ", I asked my uncle with a smirk.

" Try new things... ", my uncle Ben sighed. " Alright, I'll take another route back home. ". We started to drive home using a different road that was much safer. That is when we suddenly saw a car swerving on the other road. ' That's got to be the big bad mess Flash.'.

" Thank god we didn't go on that route. ", my uncle chuckled in shock. We arrived home and parked outside in the driveway. As soon as me and my uncle entered the house with the eggs, we heard the yelling and screaming of Aunt May and Mary Jane.

" Petelguese is not a word! ", MJ screamed at my aunt.

" It's the name of that one Greek god! ", My aunt screamed back.

" May, you're thinking Zeus, ZEUS! ", MJ yelled.

" I don't think they know we're home. ", I whispered to my uncle from the entrance of the house while taking off my shoes. My uncle Ben laughed and whispered back, " I want to see how far their argument goes. ".

Suddenly MJ turned her head and jumped in shock at seeing us "Peter! I didn't know you were here! ", MJ gasped as she fixed her hair, " Actually I wanted to ask you something, would you maybe want to go out this Friday? ". My heart sank at the question MJ asked. 'She's asking me out? ME??'.

My Uncle Ben smiled at me as he went upstairs. " MJ, I would love to. ", I responded. MJ grinned as she grabbed her things, "Great, then it's a date! ", MJ said leaving out the door and swaying from side to side. ' The girl of my dreams just asked me out... '.

I went upstairs to get some rest. 'After so many failed attempts and deaths trying to save my uncle and aunt, I finally succeeded. Hopefully, I never have to return by death again... but don't people to die while I have the power to save them, I don't want anyone to lose their Uncle Ben. I must use my powers and use them as is my responsibility, I guess now I'm the prolific hero Spider-Man...' I put my head on the pillow as I drifted out of consciousness.

At a nearby hospital
