Chapter 10: Chapter : 10 : Aisha's Thoughts!
Aisha sat in the quiet of the nurse's office, her elbows resting on the desk as her mind wandered restlessly. The sterile smell of the room and the faint hum of the air conditioning faded into the background as her thoughts were consumed by me.
Her chest rose and fell In a sigh that seemed to echo with longing. Ito-kun, I miss you already. Why do we have to be apart because of school and work? She thought, her lips curving into a soft pout.
Reaching into her pocket, she pulled out her phone and unlocked it. The screen lit up with a photo that made her heart flutter—a picture of the two of us, taken just a few days ago. In the photo, I was smiling awkwardly while Aisha clung to my arm, her face pressed against my shoulder. Her eyes sparkled with happiness in the image, a moment of pure joy frozen in time.
Her expression softened as she stared at the screen, her fingers gently tracing the outline of my face. Ito-kun… she thought, her chest tightening. Why do I feel this strange nervousness, like something is about to change between us?
Aisha placed the phone back on the desk and rested her chin in her hands, her eyes unfocused as she lost herself in her thoughts. I love him so much—the way he smiles, the way he stumbles over his words when he's flustered, even the way he cries like a baby sometimes. It's so endearing.
She chuckled softly, her heart warming at the memory of me clinging to her after I spilled my feelings for her. That vulnerability, that pure honesty—I was everything she'd ever wanted, and more. I want to see him as soon as possible, she thought, her fingers tapping lightly against the desk.
Just then, the door to the nurse's office creaked open. Aisha's head snapped up, a nurse stepping in, carrying a stack of paperwork.
"Aisha-chan, you here?" the nurse said, placing the papers on the desk.
"Oh… yeah," Aisha replied, her voice a bit distracted as she sat up straighter. "I just… needed a moment."
The nurse raised an eyebrow but smiled knowingly. "Thinking about someone special, huh?" she teased, a playful grin tugging at her lips.
Aisha's cheeks flushed a deep pink as she stammered, "W-what? N-no, I was just… I mean—"
The nurse laughed, patting her shoulder. "It's written all over your face, Aisha-chan. Whoever he is, he's lucky to have someone like you."
Aisha bit her lip, her gaze dropping to the desk. No, I'm the lucky one, she thought, the image of me flashing in her mind once more. But… will I always be enough for him?
Her smile faltered for a moment as a pang of insecurity settled in her chest. She shook her head, brushing the thought away. No, Ito-kun loves me. I know he does. That's all that matters.
With newfound resolve, Aisha stood up, her phone clutched tightly in her hand. I'll do everything I can to make him happy. Even if something—or someone—comes between us, I won't let anything take away what we have.
She looked at the photo on her phone one last time, her expression softening into a tender smile. I'll wait for you, Ito-kun. No matter what happens, my love for you won't waver.
Aisha hesitated for a moment, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her apron. She glanced toward the nurse who had just placed the paperwork on the desk. Maybe I should ask her… She's in a relationship too. She might have some advice.
Clearing her throat softly, Aisha looked up, her cheeks still faintly pink. "Um… Excuse me, can I ask you something?"
The nurse turned toward her, her expression curious. "Sure, Aisha-chan. What's on your mind?"
Aisha bit her lip, debating how to phrase her question without revealing too much. Finally, she spoke, her voice hesitant but sincere. "Well… you have a boyfriend, right? How do you… I mean, how do you make him happy? Like, what kinds of things do you do for him?"
The nurse raised an eyebrow, then broke into a wide grin. "Ah, I see! So that's what's been on your mind." She leaned against the desk, crossing her arms. "You're thinking about how to make your boyfriend happy, huh? That's sweet."
Aisha's blush deepened, and she quickly waved her hands. "N-no, it's not like that! I mean, it is, but… I just want to do my best for him, you know? I don't want him to ever feel like he's missing out on anything…"
The nurse chuckled, her expression softening. "Don't worry, Aisha-chan. Every girl who loves someone feels that way. It just shows how much you care about him."
Aisha relaxed slightly, encouraged by the nurse's words. "So… what do you do? I mean, to make your boyfriend happy?"
"Well," the nurse began, tapping her chin thoughtfully, "every guy is different, but for my boyfriend, it's the little things that count. He loves when I pay attention to the small details—like remembering his favorite snack or sending him a sweet message during the day. It's not always about big gestures."
Aisha nodded, absorbing every word. "I see… so even small things can make a big difference."
"Exactly," the nurse said with a smile. "And you know what else? Being honest about your feelings. Guys might not always say it, but they love when you open up to them. It makes them feel trusted and loved."
Aisha lowered her gaze, a small smile playing on her lips. Ito-kun already knows how I feel about him, but… maybe I should show it more often. Even in little ways.
The nurse tilted her head, observing Aisha with a curious glint in her eye. "You're really serious about him, huh?"
Aisha nodded, her voice soft but filled with conviction. "I love him more than anything. I just want to be the best for him."
The nurse's smile widened, and she gave Aisha a reassuring pat on the shoulder. "Then you're already doing great. If you love him that much, he's a lucky guy. Just be yourself, Aisha-chan. That's all he'll ever need."
Aisha's heart swelled with warmth at the nurse's words. Just be myself… Ito-kun already loves me for who I am. I have to remember that.
She looked up at the nurse, her smile brighter now. "Thank you. That really helped."
"Anytime," the nurse replied with a wink. "And if you ever need more advice, you know where to find me."
The nurse lingered by the desk, her curiosity piqued by Aisha's flustered demeanor. She leaned forward slightly, resting her chin on her hand as a playful smirk spread across her lips.
"You know," she began, her tone teasing, "if you really want to make your boyfriend happy, you could always try being a little… feisty."
Aisha blinked, tilting her head. "Feisty? What do you mean?"
The nurse grinned, lowering her voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "Oh, you know… a little kiss here, a little touch there. Guys love when their girlfriends take the lead sometimes."
Aisha's cheeks turned crimson, and she quickly shook her head. "We've already kissed!" she blurted out, her voice a little louder than she intended.
The nurse's eyes widened, then she laughed softly, clearly enjoying Aisha's reaction. "Oh? Already kissed, huh? Look at you two, moving right along." She winked. "Well, if you've already crossed that line, you could always take things a step further."
Aisha froze, her heart pounding. "W-what do you mean?" she asked hesitantly, though she already had an inkling of where this was going.
The nurse leaned In closer, her expression playful but sincere. "I mean, intimacy. You know… sex. It's the ultimate way to show someone how much you love them. And trust me, it feels good for both of you."
Aisha's mouth fell open slightly, her face now resembling a tomato. She quickly averted her gaze, her thoughts racing. Sex?! The word alone sent her mind spiraling.
Seeing her reaction, the nurse chuckled. "Oh, relax, Aisha-chan. I'm not saying you have to jump into it right away. I'm just saying it's an option if you're both ready for it. My boyfriend and I—well, let's just say it's brought us even closer."
The nurse leaned clo'er, her expression playful but still sincere. "I'm telling you, intimacy is one of the best ways to strengthen a relationship. You know? It's a way to connect on a whole new level."
Aisha's face turned a deeper shade of red, and she quickly looked down, her hands fidgeting nervously. "I-I don't think we're ready for… for something like that," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
The nurse tilted her head, her teasing grin softening into a more thoughtful smile. "Not ready, huh? That's fair. It's a big step, and it's important to feel comfortable. But don't knock it entirely. When the time is right, you'll know. And trust me, it's worth it."
Aisha's heart was racing as she fumbled with her words. "I-I mean, we've kissed… and that was really nice. But anything more than that… I don't know if I'd even know what to do." She buried her face in her hands, wishing the earth would swallow her whole.
The nurse laughed softly, her tone light and understanding. "Oh, Aisha-chan, you're adorable. Don't worry, you're not supposed to have all the answers right away. It's all about taking things at your own pace and figuring it out together."
Aisha peeked at the nurse through her fingers, her embarrassment still lingering but mixed with a tiny bit of curiosity. "You make it sound so… natural," she murmured.
The nurse smiled warmly. "That's because it is. But it's also personal. Every couple is different. Some people take their time, and that's perfectly fine. What matters most is that both of you are happy and comfortable with where you're at."
Aisha nodded slowly, her mind still a whirlwind of thoughts. Ito-kun… would something like that really make him happy? No, no, we're not ready for anything like that. He's still a minor. Besides, just holding his hand or seeing him smile makes me happy enough for now.
The nurse leaned back, watching Aisha's contemplative expression. "You really love him, don't you?"
Aisha's face softened, a small, genuine smile spreading across her lips. "More than anything," she said quietly.
The nurse nodded approvingly. "Then trust your instincts. You'll know what's right when the time comes. And until then, keep doing what makes both of you happy."
Aisha felt a sense of reassurance wash over her, despite her lingering embarrassment. Ito-kun, I'll keep showing you how much you mean to me, in my own way. One step at a time.
