Reincarnator’s Stream

Chapter 19

“Kyaa! I sent it, I sent it! What do I do?”

In the office of the management team, Un Hyang was jumping around, screaming with excitement. She seemed to have forgotten where she was and who was around her.

“Hey, Un Hyang. Calm down. Just calm down….”

“If she keeps this up, the whole office will be destroyed!”

John Dale yelled, looking at the walls of the office that were starting to crack.

Just moments ago, Un Hyang had sent a message to streamer Lee Suhyuk, and in her excitement, she had punched the wall, causing it to crack.

“Hey, did you send a love letter? Why are you overreacting like this?”

“Kyaa!”

“Damn it! Somebody stop her! At this rate, she’ll wreck the whole office!”

“How am I supposed to stop her? Even if I had a hundred assistants, it wouldn’t be enough!”

Un Hyang had once been a promising figure in the Murim World. She wasn’t just an ordinary employee but someone even a high-ranking guild member couldn’t easily restrain.

“Why does someone like her even want to be a manager…?”

In the end, John Dale could only stand and watch as she raged on for a while. Finally, as dust and pebbles began to fall from the cracked walls, Un Hyang began to calm down.

With a sigh, John Dale began to look at the reactions on the Players Community.

-Thanks for showing us how to get Lightning. Yeah, I’ll just know it in theory.

— LOLOLOL Knowing it and doing it are two different things

-Suhyuk is awesome! Today was totally a Lee Suhyuk moment!

— Uh… True, but…

— Haha, exactly, it was Lee Suhyuk all over again

The significance of Lightning was immense.

A skill that represented Lee Suhyuk. Just obtaining that skill guaranteed star status, both as a streamer and a player.

That’s why countless streamers and guilds were desperate to obtain it.

However, ‘Given the circumstances, it’s no wonder no one else got it.’

Defeat the Giant tribe leader. Who would have thought to attempt such a feat?

Even with the method to obtain Lightning revealed, no one would dare to challenge it. This trial was something only Lee Suhyuk could overcome.

Or rather, ‘Only Lee Su-hyuks could pass it.’

John Dale had an intuition.

‘This kid is going to be big.’

No one else would be able to obtain the Lightning. This meant no other character could steal his thunder, so to speak. A streamer’s success was tied to their character.

And the symbolic value of the ‘Lightning’ was the best item to build that character.

Of course, ‘That’s only if he continues to show the kind of performance we’ve seen so far.’

-The Suhyuk fans are having a blast LOLOLOL

-But isn’t he still 2nd Suhyuk?

— Haha, yeah, he’s still on the 2nd floor

-2nd Suhyuk LOLOLOL LolLOLOLOL

-So that’s what it meant LOLOLOL

Not all reactions were positive. The nature of the community meant that negative opinions were inevitable for anyone. Even for the legendary Lee Suhyuk when he was alive.

Much less for a streamer named Lee Suhyuk who hadn’t yet cleared the trials of the 2nd floor.

“Team Leader.”

“Huh, yeah?”

John Dale, who had been engrossed in checking the community responses, was startled by Cheon Ryang’s voice as she approached him.

“What?”

“A reply. From Lee Suhyuk.”

After returning to his accommodation, Suhyuk started researching Balhae Entertainment.

‘Balhae Entertainment. A leading MCN company that grew based on the streaming business.’

Balhae Entertainment’s partners were mainly divided into two categories. Popular star players and streamers with thousands of concurrent viewers.

Balhae generates revenue by leveraging these partners for advertising and other ventures.

“The world has really changed. They even have companies like this now.”

He realized anew how long 20 years was. He had thought there were only individual streamers, but seeing such enterprises blossom was eye-opening.

‘This is quite a significant place. Among MCN companies in the entertainment business, it’s one of the most notable.’

Finding information about Balhae wasn’t difficult. A single search pulled up thousands of results, and the number of affiliated streamers alone surpassed the hundreds.

A well-known streamer to Suhyuk, Fake Suhyuk, was also affiliated with Balhae Entertainment. And another name caught his interest.

‘Falcon Eye?’

Searching for Balhae Entertainment brought up a prominent streamer named Falcon Eye. Suhyuk’s interest was piqued because of Falcon Eye’s recent content.

▶ Breaking News! Falcon Eye: Streamer Lee Suhyuk. In terms of control, better than the real Suhyuk. ◀

A provocative title.

It had a high view count. Despite being posted only a few hours ago, it had dozens of comments.

– Hahaha, Falcon Eye’s BS at it again

– This guy’s nonsense isn’t new

– Falcon Eye’s nonsense? Have you been living under a rock?

– He’s giving genuine high praise this time

– Falcon Eye is famously stingy with praise

Suhyuk clicked on the link attached to Falcon Eye’s video. It was a rather long video showing Falcon Eye’s reaction as Suhyuk acquired Lightning and escaped the Giant tribe’s hordes.

“He used his limited strength efficiently, utilizing the skill exactly where it was needed without wasting any energy!”

“Focus, damn it! This is insane. How does he do this with a newly acquired skill? Is he even human?”

He had good eyes. Even though he didn’t see it firsthand and only through this small screen, he understood it all.

‘Falcon Eye. Shortened for Eye of the Falcon, huh? Living up to the name.’

He had analyzed Suhyuk’s performance quite accurately. If Falcon Eye had pulled him into a narrative with half-baked comments just to attract viewers, Suhyuk would have been unimpressed.

But with this level of insight, it made sense. And the high praise that followed was appreciated.

‘I am better than myself, after all.’

Saying that his control was better than that of peak Suhyuk. It was a given. Suhyuk always aimed to be better today than he was yesterday.

“Hmm….”

Fake Suhyuk and Falcon Eye. Having both in one company. While a big company isn’t necessarily always good, it certainly seemed legitimate rather than a scam.

Moreover,

-His skills might be fine, but his streaming is definitely newbie level LOLOLOL

– When he didn’t know how to receive the mission at first,

“What’s this notification popping up?”

-For a first stream, he’s pretty endearing…

-Just state your intention to share and say ‘Share Trial Status.’

When he struggled to share the trial status,

-If you’re going to end the stream, you should have said so earlier ㅠ

And most notably, when he didn’t know the right time to end the stream, Suhyuk constantly felt his lack of knowledge about streaming.

‘It’s true that I know very little about streaming.’

He had confidence in his skills as a player. But as for being a streamer? This was a different story.

It was just the first day, so he couldn’t expect to be exceptionally good at it. If he himself was dissatisfied, how much more must the viewers have felt?

Given his goal to grow by receiving point donations from viewers,

“… I’ll do it.”

Suhyuk decided he needed to focus on his streaming skills as well. Tapping and typing away at his kit, Suhyuk composed a reply to the message.

Crunch.

Isaac was chewing on a sausage at the cafeteria while checking his kit. It was supposed to be a time to relax and relieve his mental fatigue after a day of trials.

That’s what it was supposed to be.

“In terms of control alone, he’s better than peak Lee Suhyuk.”

Hearing Falcon Eye’s words from the kit, Isaac’s expression twisted.

Squeak.

The fork in his hand bent. A voice full of irritation buzzed in his ears from the kit.

“Why do I think so? Let me explain. What? Nobody asked? I’m doing it anyway…”

Click.

Isaac turned off the kit in frustration and closed the screen. The food in his mouth tasted bland.

“What does he know? Talking nonsense, that fool.”

Isaac had been watching the video uploaded by Falcon Eye. It was a highlights reel summarizing the core points of the stream. But Isaac couldn’t bear to watch it till the end.

“Better than peak Lee Suhyuk? Ha. And this guy only just made it to the 2nd floor?”

A fellow 2nd-floor player acquiring the Lightning. The attention he was getting was expected. After all, he was streaming under the name Lee Suhyuk.

‘He’s just a lucky bastard. He got the Lightning simply because he followed a good route.’

Even after watching the video, Isaac couldn’t acknowledge streamer Lee Suhyuk. He believed Suhyuk got the Lightning purely by luck.

That’s all he thought. Glancing at his kit covered on the dining table, Isaac paused his meal.

Falcon Eye was a streamer whose streams Isaac regularly enjoyed. A streamer who analyzed the gameplay of top players. His insights were quite accurate, providing valuable learning material.

But now,

“This guy’s vision must be off. I should crush him if I ever get the chance.”

He felt an inexplicable rage simmering within.

No—

Although he feigned indifference, he knew the truth deep down.

Lee Suhyuk.

The first to defeat the Wolf Warrior and now the second player to obtain the Lightning after Lee Suhyuk. People were already gossiping that he might become the second Lee Suhyuk someday.

‘I don’t like it.’

That was supposed to be his spot. The son of Reinhardt, possessing exceptional talent, expected to reach the 8th floor in record time.

That was the expectation when he started climbing the tower as a player.

However, a newcomer who attracted more attention than him had emerged.

He didn’t like it.

He didn’t like that someone was getting more attention than him.

And he especially didn’t like that newcomer’s name.

‘I lost my appetite…’

Isaac’s gaze shifted to Suhyuk, who had just walked into the dining hall.

‘Well, a new toy that looks similar is here.’

Suddenly, he felt his mood improve.

Yes.

Lee Suhyuk should be like this.

“The world is really unfair.”

He muttered loud enough for Suhyuk to hear.

“Even with the same name, the way you live can be so different.”

Isaac continued, mocking Suhyuk with his words.

“Don’t you agree, friend?”

Suhyuk locked eyes with Isaac but ignored him and took a seat.

Crack.

Veins appeared on Isaac’s forehead.

The thought of being ignored made him feel displeased. After all, back when they were in the training institute, Suhyuk couldn’t even look him in the eye properly.

‘He’s changed all of a sudden.’

Swish.

Rising from his seat, Isaac walked over to sit across from Suhyuk.

Clang.

He placed his plate on the table and took a seat. Suhyuk, his face filled with annoyance, finally spoke.

“Leave me alone.”

“All my friends are out, and I’m bored. Entertain me for a bit? It’s been a while.”

“I’m busy.”

Suhyuk began eating, ignoring Isaac. Despite the continuous disregard, Isaac persisted, narrowing his eyes as he asked.

“Busy with what?”

“Hunting. I’m a player, after all.”

“Hunting? You?”

Chuckling, Isaac couldn’t help but smile. Normally, he might have considered the other person’s feelings, but Isaac never learned such things.

“Yes. Me.”

However, Suhyuk remained calm despite Isaac’s mocking laughter. Waving his hand dismissively as if to say, “Let me eat in peace.”

Suhyuk sent Isaac away.

“…..”

Displeased, Isaac frowned again.

But then, Grinning slyly, Isaac stood up from his seat.

“Alright. Got it. Enjoy your meal alone.”

Saying this, Isaac returned his half-eaten plate. As he walked out of the dining hall, Isaac glanced back at Suhyuk, who was eating alone in the middle of the dining hall, and smiled.

‘Going hunting, are you…’
