Reincarnation: Road to rebuild a lost home

Chapter 8: If there is a chance

The young man standing next to Gale Tobias Hartman spoke out his opinion while this night is supposed to be about killing a village filled with were-tiger demi-humans.

“Do you think I’m going to change my mind now from what you have just said Sinner Wolf,” Gale says, like one whose mind is set is not an easy one to change.

“Not my lord, it's just a suggestion to such a species that can provide usefulness to us. Given they go through proper training to become rightfully good little soldiers for the new lord of these lands.”

“You can say the same about Orcs, if it was those green creatures would you say the same thing? When they are a race only care more than nothing than to fight, pillage, and to breed furthermore of their kind by the women captured by them.”

“Well, the Orcs may be primitive kind whose minds are only on simple things, but you cannot deny such a race being gifted with inhuman strength and warlike thinking ability. The very two things make them good at something rather than nothing.”

Gale lets out a grunt instead to be his response whereas Sinner takes to understanding that the conversation is to no longer go on being done and over at this point.

“Anyway, best we get started with this, I shall make way for the soldiers to enter without there being trouble in breaking their way in while at the time getting arrows rain down on them.” Sinner tells Gale.

He takes a step or two forward putting two fingers together and pointing forward at the village fort as if it looks like that was all this guy was doing.

“Let the start of this attack begin with a nice blast, I try to contain as much power with this explosion spell.” Sinner says, but in that mind of his, it would most likely not be that way.

By the best sight as a were-tiger, Beia spotted this questioning at first on what this human was doing. Then by the look of a wicked smile on that face in the next second something is not well for them on the other side.

“Quickly get away….” Beia's words weren't fast enough to give a warning to those with her on the fort.

The very front comes under a great explosion destroying the front entrance easily given to it being made of simple wood. Beia was lucky enough not to be close to feeling the painful death where the body ends up in many pieces like the same of those that were close.

Still the force from the blast does push her body further to the side even those standing near behind came to feel it as well. When falling backwards losing control of their positions as it broke for the moment.

afterward, the smell of smoke and fire can enter anyone's nose while the bite of small body parts is scattered around.

“There we go my lord it is done; you have the honor of giving the order for the attack sir.” Sinner says.

“Very good job Sinner, now then MEN ATTACK!”

Those soldiers let out a roar of their own when hearing their lord give the command as every one of them charged forward.

Beia notices the incoming enemy and worst of all, all those were-tiger people pushed back yet to recover, so she took it upon herself to buy a little time to meet the human soldiers head-on and fight them without them having the advantage.

Jumping into the eyes of the attack wasting no time to begin the first drawing of blood and death killing the first human soldier. When thrusting the head of the spear into the center of the human chest impaling through the armor ending up on the other side.

Beia then goes on to further slay one human soldier after the other by skillful use of the spear. A spear gifted by the very man who shows this woman such a love to never be let go or forgotten being the power to help her use as the strength in going through in this land stand.

Showing these humans that she has not lost the touch of wielding the spear as it spills more blood and bodies to the ground and thanks to Beia being able to give the time needed as the rest of her people join the fight.

This becomes a full-scale fight creating the sounds of the blades of weapons clashing against each other along with also of the sounds of cries and grunts in this same fight.

“Seems one of them took quite the action and skill to take head-on with the soldiers in the front. Still, it won’t do much thanks to my explosion creating a big enough hole for good space that no matter if this person could keep up taking on every soldier, they will make it through.” Sinner says with quite the confidants.

“She is no doubt to be their leader, one to give these demi-humans the courage in this lose fight of theirs.”

“Oh yes no doubt she is helping in that, I take it you will act on putting out that flame.”

“Soon this is to be over, I can go back to building on my new lands for the future.”

Gale makes way towards Beia taking note of the hulking figure coming right for her gradually.

“The leader of this army comes for me if there is a chance, I can help turn this around then taking this person's head is the way to do so. By the tiger god lend me your power and those fighting tonight that we have a chance of seeing the bright sun rise again.” Beia thought.

She took care of one more soldier swinging the spear across one's stomach spilling the guts out as that person guts as he fell to his knees then the next second face to the ground.

Afterward for Beia, Beia didn't walk to Gale, she ran aiming to see about ending his life with the moving swing or thrust of the spear in her hand.

Passing and ignoring the other human soldiers to reach for Gale she leaps at the last second. Going up to perform an attack where she brings the head part of the spear to slash downward in sight to split this person in half.

Gale didn’t have to do much for this attack to do any harm to him when swung a whole arm in a back smack manner which hit Beia in the stomach and sent her whole body flying backwards into the village.

She manages to catch herself when getting close to hitting the ground using her claws to dig into the ground cutting through that same ground till slowing down to finally stop.

Looking forward to seeing the large Gale man coming for her pushing his way through the crowd in combat at the time.

One were-tiger with a sword and shield charged at the man who quickly reacted by bringing his hummer down and crushing the head of that demi-human completely.

A merciless way for one to die like that, another tries to attack Gale, but they also fail at the attempt. Receiving a powerful backhand that completely had that one head spin backward by the force of that hand.

Beia's rage was rising, witnessing two of her kin being slaughtered like this by one doing it coldly without so much of a second glance.

“What that look for, this is a fight, casualties are to happen. Did you expect there to be any differently tonight?” Gale began a conversation with her before further fighting.

“I know that this spear has already taken a few of your own, but still your kind is killing mine. What right there did you have to bring your army and attack us when we haven't done anything wrong for it.”

“Please this world is how it is, your kind were in these lands of mines. Rewarded by the king of Guido, I had no intention of making peace or giving him a chance to move to another land. Destroying this village and killing all of you was the simplest thing to do.”

“No, it is the way you humans see with your eyes this world that way. We see differently and that is one day the way your eyes see how your world will bring upon your death.”

Gale let out a chuckle amused by that threat thrown at him while at the time Beia had something come to mind needing to be asked here and now before anything else.

“Tell me is Cletus here among you,” Beia asked.

“He is, but if you're asking this from me to learn about his betrayal. I will be truthful about him not doing it of his free will after those eyes see what we did to the other two. Fearing death is always what makes one give up when wanting to live more.”

“Then he has dishonest his people by acting in such a way. As any of us would die than to fall prey to their enemy's hands.”

Beia makes herself ready to make an attack move against Gale. Understanding the talk is over and the fight is to resume in just a moment both are there standing in place from each other.

Just a moment and then together at the same time they charge at each other with Beia into the air one more time seeking to thrust the spear.

While Gale uses both hands to help with swinging at the incoming attack, aim at him.

Leaving the question in the matter of who would be the fastest to strike the other first.
