"Yeah, yeah, thanks System," Aquarina sighed, running across the skies while carrying Silvia.

As she did, the flock of Feathered Serpent Wyverns followed her, chasing her rather wildly. They were constantly drooling, and their eyes were glowing red, they seemed incredibly hungry.
They were especially attracted by prey with a lot of Mana within them, most monsters did, this was also the reason why monsters attacked people more than just normal wild beasts.
Wild beasts would remain in their territories, but monsters were different, they would grow hungry for Mana to keep their powerful magical metabolism active.

Instead, it began unleashing its fiery breath, trying to burn through Justicio's metallic exterior, although he handled it pretty fine.

"Uugh…!"
Justicio lacked the ability to attack from very long distances, so he quickly grabbed a stone and fired it at the monster.

Aquarina sighed as she saw him being hopeless…
She stepped into the skies and then rushed down at lightning speed, leaving behind a trail of darkness.
Unsheathing her dagger, she imbued it with large quantities of Abyssal Energy from her Abyssal Embodiment Skill and then…
Fired the dagger at the monster's head!

"Sure! Leave it to me!" Silvia quickly summoned her Soul Weapon, a long halberd made of gold. "I got this!"
"Soul Weapon, huh?" Aquarina was a bit surprised Silvia could unleash it already.
Usually it was something not many could do, even less at Tiers below 8, but the people of Everstone was different.
They were incredibly talented, developing abilities and powers that would only appear at later stages of their cultivation due to their pedigree bloodline.
"SHYAAAAGH!"
The Feathered Serpent Wyverns rushed down towards the two girls; they were a flock of around eight of them. Aquarina quickly called back her dagger, which with a thread made of shadows went back to her hand.
With both of her daggers in each hand, she quickly decided to fight more like her father this time, which surprised Silvia.
"Right, Aquarina knows two fighting styles! Her mother's close combat style using her fists and legs, and then her father's flashy, assassination arts!" Silvia thought, amazed as she saw Aquarina jump into the skies.

With all her might, she sharpened the tip of her daggers and pierced the spine of one of the wyverns, instantly leaving their bodies paralyzed.
"CRYYAARGH!"
The beast screamed, falling from the skies, yet Aquarina grabbed it with her shadow threads and lifted it up into the skies, forcing it to slam with another wyvern.
BAAAM!
As two Wyverns fell, she quickly moved to the next, slashing through its throat at lighting speed and with immense precision.
"{Assassination Arts}: {Throat Slicer}"
SLAAASH!
She slashed through the throat with perfect precision and dexterity, killing the wyvern on the spot as it bled out and fell.
The other wyverns quickly fired their draconic breaths against her, trying to burn her alive with their deadly flames.
Yet Aquarina's azure eyes turned red, as abyssal shadows encompassed her body, and then it felt as if her own shadows created mirages of herself…
"{Assassination Arts}: {Abyssal Mirage Rampage}"
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Within a split second, she jumped towards the flock of wyverns and slashed their bodies one after another, covering them with deadly wounds, as they fell one after another.
"GRRHHH…!"
The largest of the Feathered Serpent Wyverns remained, glaring at her furiously.
"Wanna go?"
Aquarina smiled menacingly…
"Woah, she's way too cool!"
Silvia was fangirling as she killed the wyverns that Aquarina left for her.
