Chapter 1450: Glutton's Evolution
-----
After seeing Furoh and Beelzebub's stats, I was quite surprised. Their stats skyrocketed much more than I imagined compared to their previous stats! Going from at most 4 thousand stats to suddenly over 20k for any stat was huge!
They became at least four to five times stronger, maybe even six or seven times! Their evolutions and new forms were also quite intriguing and interesting. Furoh became a more "compact" octopus-like demon. Stay tuned with empire
Meanwhile, Beelzebub who wasn't a demon but a spirit, continued down the path of a beautiful, yet lethal bug, becoming a gorgeous butterfly-like moth.
Their new Races and Classes were also great and interesting, even more the Skills to go with them. Furoh now could divide and create a doppelganger sharing 50% of his stats, easily increasing his powers and abilities.
He also gained the power to mimic magic itself, he'll have to practice more regarding that, but it could mean he can just see magic and somehow replicate it as long as it is within his power.
Perhaps it could work when he takes upon the form of the one he wanted to learn the magic from? He'll have to figure out how it'll work, it has the potential to be a really broken ability.
Then there's Beelzebub with his three new little Skills, which come hand to hand with his new powers after evolution, [Spiritual Swarm Body: Lv1] is probably related with his "swarm" race. Then [Venomous Abyssal Ghostly Body: Lv1] has given him ghost-like properties to his body. and lastly, [Poisonous Cursed Chains: Lv1] would help him create chains made of curse and poison.
It feels oddly interesting, like he's trying to fulfill Curse's role by getting skills that were similar to his own, the chains in specific… Curse's chains were amazingly useful for a lot of fights, so it's nice Beelzebub got something similar.
"These chains are powerful…" Beelzebub smiled, as he conjured black and purple chains that moved around. "Really strong! I like these!"
"Heh…" I giggled a bit. "I know why you got that skill."
"Huh? What are you implying?!" he asked, embarrassed. "I got it from the evolution, nothing else!"
"Nah, I know you got it to honor Curse, right?" I asked with a smile. "That's so nice of you!"
"T-That's not the case at all!"
He looked visible embarrassed.
"Hehe, now show me other skills! What do they do?" I asked.
Beelzebub sighed, quickly using the first one.
BBZZZTTT!
Suddenly, from his previous form, his spiritual body divided and transformed, becoming a huge swarm of smaller flies.
"This is one of my original abilities, actually!" he said. "I'm so glad I got one back, hahaha! After so long!"
"One of your originals?" asked Yggdra.
"I think he was like that yeah," said Ignatius. "Nasty motherfucker that turned into a bunch of flies, and he was a huge fly himself!"
"Shut up you stupid lizard!" Beelzebub said. "Adults are talking now, so shut it!"
"WHAT DID YA SAY?!" Ignatius roared. "Don't think that because you evolved you're suddenly better than me!"
"Well, that seems to be a fact now, haha!" laughed Beelzebub. "And yes, this is one of my original abilities! Becoming a gigantic swarm of flies to escape from danger, attack foes from every angle, and so on. It's also good for surveillance too! So there's lots of interesting uses. I'm very useful, right? Unlike the lizard that can only be good to roast meat, hah!"
"Y-You damn…!" Ignatius groaned.
"Come on, don't fight now…" I sighed. "Anyways, what's the other skill? What does it do?"
"Hmm, this one?"
Beelzebub suddenly transformed back to normal, and then became ghostly out of the blue.
"Interesting, it gives me ghostly properties…" he said. "It could probably help me tamper with a foe's soul or even control phantoms. Not bad. I have to train these skills first to see their full potential."
"Well said," I nodded. "Alright! Let's move on to the next on the list… Glutton! Come here boy. It's your time to shine and finally evolve since I got you."
"Waarff!"
Glutton leaped to my side and then inside the magic circle. He was literally a small spatial bag, but with sharp teeth and a tongue inside, he was originally just a spatial bag my mother gifted to me.
But through experimentation, I ended turning him into a living being by giving him a System Seed, the same way it happened to my sword and then the shield.
I placed the materials he needed to evolve, including space attribute spiritual stones and some demon materials, mimic corpses, and so on.
Once everything was set up, the evolution started instantly. The materials melted away into energy and fused into his body.
FLASH!
"Waarrrgh!"
He gave out a little surprised whelp before he calmed down, as his body underwent rapid mutations and changes, becoming thrice as big, for example.
"Ooh, he changed!" said Naturia. "Glutton is so big now!"
"Interesting, so this is the evolution of Glutton?" wondered Yggdra. "You didn't evolve him like you did with Scarlet and Sapphire, huh?"
"Yeah," I nodded. "Mostly because they are different structurally. Scarlet and Sapphire ended becoming living weapons, which are just a weapon with magical powers, self-growth, and a soul. Meanwhile Glutton turned into a mimic, so he's technically… I think he has flesh, so that makes him more "living" and therefore, using sewing or alchemy to evolve him wouldn't work properly, right, my little boy?"
"Waarrrf! Warrrghh!"
Glutton wasn't so little anymore, as he leaped over my body, three times bigger than before, he was now the same size as a large backpack, his teeth were even more than before, he had two tongues now, and even a small golden eye over his head.
The bag decorations were also nice, gold and azure metals combining together nicely into his new form, which was quite aesthetically pleasing for the eyes.
But above all, his Elemental Aura!
It was tremendously strong, and it even had Spiritual Properties now.
"Let me see those stats, Glutton…"
I was very interested about what changed!
