Reincarnated as Itsuka Shido: Collecting Spirits as Lovers

Shido's gaze swept across the darkened space as he cautiously scanned his surroundings. Just as his senses heightened, the sharp ring of his earpiece broke the silence, and Kotori's voice echoed through it.

"Shido, can you hear me?"

"Yeah, loud and clear."

Shido kept his eyes fixed on the darkness ahead, waiting for Kotori's instructions.

After discussing the plan on how to conquer Hermit, Shido was transported inside one of the buildings in the shopping district.

After arriving, Shido already used his Obervaion Haki to observe the whole building and found that it was empty except for him who had just arrived. 

Although it was dark, he could sense everything inside the building as if it were the back of his own home. He scanned each floor until he found a trace of Yoshino. She was just one floor above him, yet when he observed her carefully, he noticed she was hanging upside down from the ceiling, as if she was playing with herself.

His lips twitched as he wondered why she was doing something as ridiculous as hanging from the ceiling. He was speechless, but when he sensed her emotional state, Shido somewhat felt complicated. Yoshino's emotions were unstable, as if she were scared of something. Thinking about this, he couldn't help but sigh bitterly, questioning why the world was so cruel to Spirits.

Realizing Yoshino was feeling scared, Shido knew that he have to hurry up and go to her as soon as possible before her emotion became too unstable and freeze this whole building.

"Hermit is in the floor just above you."

Just as Shido was contemplating, Kotori's voice resounded on his earpiece as she tells him where Yoshino was. "I got it." Shido replied. 

"She's not as hostile as Tohka so she will not initiate an attack if you don't startle her." Kotori proceeded to give instruction to Shido while monitoring everything in the Fraxinus.

"You can handle it, right?" Kotori's calm voice echoed in his earpiece. Although her tone was calm, she concerned deep inside. While she was confident with Shido's ability to charm Spirits and due to his training. Kotori still couldn't help but feel worried. 

"Who do you think I am?" Shido replied with a confident smile. He had already stablished a connection with Yoshino before. If not for Tohka's sudden appearance then he might have already kissed Yoshino and seal her Reiryoku.

"That's my Onii-chan!" Hearing his reassuring words, Kotori could finally heave a sigh of relief. A smile appeared on her face as the frown on her cute face disappears.

"Now, let's begin our date!" 2x

After reaching the floor above, Shido directly walked over to where Yoshino was hiding. He couldn't help but reveal a wry smile as Yoshino was still hanging on the ceiling while seemingly chatting with Yoshino's.

When he reached 10 meters before them, Yoshino noticed someone's presence that was heading their way. Her heart became tense, as she tried to hide her petite body on the corner.

Just as her small body was quivering in scared, she suddenly heard a familiar and warm voice that she was longing to hear. 

"Yoshino, I came to see you." Shido said while revealing a gentle and warm smile that could melt the hearts of even those cold-hearted heroines. And, it's actually very effective especially on Loli's like Yoshino.

Hearing that familiar voice, Yoshino blinked her eyes adorably. She was surprised and happy that she could meet Shido again. Her initial worry was replaced by an excitement that she couldn't contain.

After she left hurried as she was startled by Tohka's sudden appearance, Yoshino have been thinking about Shido. His gentle voice and warm hands that caress her head as light as he could. Yoshinon was sad and felt regretful that she was not able to properly say goodbye top Shido at that time so she have always been waiting at the Shrine thinking that she might meet him again there. 

Yet as time pass, Shido didn't come back to the Shrine leaving Yoshino alone waiting on the Shrine. However, at time, Shido was busy making Tohka and Origami's relationship better so he was not able to visit Yoshino.

Now, seeing Shido again made her elated, she had been wishing to see him again and now her wish was granted. However, Yoshino was still shy towards him. Even though she treated Shido differently unlike the rest of the people, she couldn't help but blush and felt bashful when Shido was now in front of her.

Shido noticed this causing his face to soften, Yoshino was undeniably cute and she was just like a doll if she didn't move and talk. 

"Um, Yoshino, can you come down here... It's a but hard to talk with you when you are that high above." Shido said awkwardly, while they can actually talk in this position, Shido still felt that talking with Yoshino while looking up was tiring.

Hearing Shido's words, Yoshino finally remembered that she was snuggling in the corner of the ceiling to hide. This made her cute Loli face to blush as she was embarrassed when she was found by Shido while doing something embarrassing.

"U-Un..." Yoshino replied with a silent voice, hiding her face in shyness.
