Eugene didn't slack more and dragged his team after having breakfast to the dungeon.

Everyone is nervous because what they hated the most is illusion but what can they do? It's part of the exam and they must pass it or they would fail to go to the second round of selection. Eugene knew how hard it is to pass an illusion unless you are strong enough to break from it. However, there's a time no matter how strong you are as long as you fear something you will succumb to it. Eugene knew the risk and he is ready to face his fears.

"It's an invisible gate but I can feel it, it's here."

Casimin pointed his finger in the direction of the dungeon gate,

It's really invisible and once they pass from it they would instantly fall into an illusion. Everyone gulped and calm themselves. What they need is to be mentally prepared to survive.

Eugene walk towards Sanciel and whispered: "If all of you gone out and I'm the only one left, don't wait for me and move on."

"Commander? How about you?"

"I will survive but it will take time because my head is full of mess."

Sanciel immediately understand and nodded his head: "T-Then we will leave some mark so you can know where we are. We will just wait for you so we can all exit the Sena forest together."

"Well..."

Everyone lines up to enter the dungeon gate. Eugene stood in front while Timber grab the second place, Kaizer walk behind Timber to be the third person to enter the dungeon.

Everyone look at each other and nodded.

As Eugene stepped inside, he was swallowed by darkness and fall into a deep sleep.

——"You child! What are you doing!"

A five-year-old child fell on the floor because of the old man's beating. Eugene raises his head and looks at the dean of the orphanage with an expressionless face as if his fall and the slap on his face don't hurt at all causing the dean to grit his teeth and kick the child away.

"If you do that again I'll make sure to lock you up and starve you to death!"

Eugene lowered his head and didn't speak.

The dean knew he won't get much reaction from the child before him so he just let out a sound [hmp] and walk away, leaving the child he had just while ago beaten without care.

Seeing the old man leaving, Eugene stood up.

He took a small and careful step and walk outside the room. Just like usual, he goes to the quietest place in the orphanage and squatted there, wondering how long it will take for him to suffer this time before dying again.

That's right, Eugene transmigrated again.

He wakes up in a body of an abandoned child and is living in an old orphanage.

Well, he expected much more so this is still a surprise for him to possess a child's body. But the problem is this body is weak and delicate, not like someone who grew up used to being beaten. How could this be? If you are beaten every day shouldn't your body get used to it? Why is this body getting more and more soft?

"You, what are you doing here?"

Eugene raised his head and saw a handsome kid.

"Are you beaten by that old man again? How many times should I tell you to be careful?"

Eugene tilted his head confusedly and allowed the handsome kid to carry him back to a room to treat the bruise on his cheek, still reprimanding him. Eugene couldn't take it so he raise his small hands and held the hand of this brother and asked: "Name, what's your name?"

The handsome kid looks surprised.

"Did you forget the name of brother again?"

Eugene nodded his head.

"Why are you so silly? I'm your big brother Kaizer."

"Kaizer?"

Eugene clench his small fist when he heard a familiar name. Isn't that the name of his previous arch-enemy? How could such a coincidence happen? This person is not that person's reincarnation, right? Should not because he is just a child now, he can't fight that bastard.

Seeing Eugene's quietness, Kaizer sighed.

"The dean is not in the mood now because some official is visiting the orphanage, dealing with things so this tattered house could be demolished. You should avoid him these days so you won't get beaten again."

Eugene nodded his head.

"T-Then brother Kaizer are you being beaten too?"

Kaizer paused and sigh: "Everyone is the same, no exemptions are made."

Eugene didn't bother about it anymore. He's used to pain and death, something like abuse is not new to him. He could only lay himself in the embrace of his brother, feeling tired, and fall asleep.

When Eugene woke he is already laying on a hard bed. He raise his hand to scratch his face and opened his eyes. He saw a kid's figure, it was Kaizer who is changing clothes. The body of his brother is full of bruises and there is a new wound wrapped in a bandage. Eugene can tell that Kaizer is beaten hard, harder than he experienced earlier.

Well, the dean is really inhuman.

Evil is evil, it's their bad luck.

"Brother~"

Kaizer hurriedly put on his shirt and turn around, walking towards Eugene and carrying the baby: "Awake? Are you hungry? Do you want some snacks? Brother will get it for you but you must not step out of the room or the dean might use you to relieve his anger again."

"Brother you'll get beaten too."

'Don't worry about me, I'm big and you are small."

Eugene hugged his brother tightly. This is the first time he experienced being protected so he couldn't help but feel greedy. The only bad thing is that this brother of his had the same stinky name as his former archenemy.

"Well, I'm hungry brother."

"Alright, you stay here okay?"

Eugene nodded his head as Kaizer put him down on the bed again.

He watches his brother walk out of the room before crawling down the bed and walking towards the window to peek outside. The room he was in is near the gate of the orphanage and he saw an expensive car stopped not too far away and the dean immediately welcomed the person full of flattery. This made Eugene snort and just go back to bed, wondering who are those persons who visit the dean. They don't look like officials and it's impossible for someone to adopt a child in this kind of orphanage with a bad environment.

Eugene waited and waited but his brother still haven't come back.

Hmm. So hungry.

Within one hour, Kaizer whom Eugene thought won't be coming back enter the room and immediately grab him saying: "We can finally get out of here!"

Eugene stares at his brother's fiery eyes.

"How?"

"My parents, someone came and said they were my parents and wanted me to go back with them. I told them I will only go if you can come with me and they agree so they are proceeding with your adoptions. Eugene we can finally become free!"

Eugene didn't know what to feel.

In a scenario like this wouldn't the legal one coming back will experience more hardships? Is this kid not thinking if he had more siblings that would fight him and make his life hellish than here?

"Well---"

"Don't think more, I will never leave you here."

Eugene was carried by Kaizer and he can only hug the neck of his brother, afraid of falling. Kaizer's former gloomy face finally has a touch of brightness, he held the baby he's been treasuring for many years and walks out of the room, coming back to the dean's office to show his parents what his precious baby looks like.

Eugene has no expectations but when meeting Kaizer's parents he was surprised at how welcoming the two couples are.

He was immediately carried by Kaizer's mother who constantly pinch his cheeks.

Eugene still has the same expressionless face no matter what kind of situation he faced. He was put on the lap of Mrs. He and watched the signing process of adoption. Until they went out of the orphanage under the wide pleasing smile of the dean he still stay quiet making Mrs. He worried, wondering if the child had an intellectual problem.

In the end, both he and Kaizer was sent to the hospital for examination.

"How could they do this to a child?!"

It is also the start of the dean's misery.

Under the examination, the doctors, found countless wounds on the body of the children and some internal problems probably cause by beating beaten. Eugene's case had nothing to do with the rage of the two couples because their child, Kaizer is the one who has suffered the most. The He couple couldn't take it to heart that the precious son they've been finding found lives in abuse and suffered so much.

Mr. He immediately call the police and his personal lawyer to file a case.

Eugene and Kaizer stay in the hospital for treatment and both go under psychological examinations. Kaizer cooperates with everything but Eugene refuses to talk because he doesn't remember anything upon possessing the body which causes a lot of misunderstanding.

Kaizer is good they said but he suffered from trauma, so he could hardly communicate with people.

Eugene just snorts and refuses to face the doctors.

He sticks himself with Kaizer and even rejects injections.

"Kaizer, I'll carry the baby, you go and change your clothes so we can go home."

Mrs. He picks Eugene from Kaizer's embrace and carries the baby carefully. Eugene didn't hug Mrs. He likes how he hugged Kaizer, instead, he curls up and put his head on Mrs. He's chest, hiding his face with his hand in front, refraining from touching the wealthy woman who wears expensive jewelry because he might accidentally pull it.

"Oh my, is the baby shy?"

"What a cute child. I'm your mother now, I hope you can call Mom soon."

Eugene kept silent.

When Kaizer went out of the toilet, he almost laughs when he saw Eugene curling in the arms of his mother. Eugene who saw Kaizer immediately stretch his hand, wanting Kaizer to hug him back because the mother wear strong perfume he didn't like.

"Mom, let me hug him."

Mother He sighs: "The child likes you so much."

Kaizer just grinned.

He raises him, Eugene is his.

When they arrived at the mansion, Eugene look around but couldn't see the end of it, it was huge like a castle. Seems like Kaizer's parents are not an ordinary rich family. This kind of house, it's rooted in wealth.

Here they come.

Eugene tightens his grip as they enter the mansion.

He was expecting some child to appear and shout that they couldn't accept them but he waited and waited until they sat on the sofa...no one...nothing comes out. So, does Kaizer have siblings or not? Why is no one coming at them?

"Kaizer, Mom, and Dad have been waiting for you. We are happy that we found you before getting old. At least me and your father can still protect you."

Kaizer look around.

"Mom, do I have a sibling?"

Mother He widens her eyes, "No! Don't worry mom can't give birth anymore, you are our only child. You don't need to think about having someone share affections---"

"No Mom, you misunderstand, I just don't want someone to recognize Eugene as their sibling. I should only be the one."

Mother He didn't find it strange since the two live in such a harsh environment together and only have each other. For her Kaizer's attitude is like protecting someone he treasures. Well, their family didn't lack money to raise another so they instantly agree to Eugene's adoption so just they could bring back their child.

"Well, there's no one, you can rest assured. You are only Eugene's brother."

Kaizer breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately, his mother can't give birth anymore.

What to do if Eugene recognizes others as brothers? He would probably beat that person until he disappear in his and Eugene's eyesight. After all even in the orphanage, whoever try to approach Eugene would be beaten and framed by him. Also, the reason why other kids refuse to come near Eugene is because they are afraid that Kaizer will come after them.

So wherever Eugene goes, they will immediately hide.

They can't play with Eugene, because Kaizer is so scary, scarier than the dean of the orphanage who tortured them.
