Record of a Commoner Who Defied Common Sense

There is a house in the suberbs, small distance away from the 'DAV' school. The house is a rundown house of poor people who don't have any money. These are the places where poor live for many years and that places become theirs.

2 people came in front of the house. One was a very beautiful teenage girl. She was very pretty but her hair was little messy due to running. Other one was fainted high school boy. And he was resting on the back of the pretty girl.

They were naturally 'Li Ling' and 'Xiao Tian'. After they were assaulted by the thugs, 'Xiao Tian' had took them but he had fainted. So 'Li Ling' carried him here.

"phew!" she finally reached 'Xio Tian's' reached house.

"so this is his house!" the house was rundown and very old.

"So old..." she murmured.

She had seen many houses like this before—but the moment she laid eyes on Xiao Tian's house, a sudden, stabbing pain pierced her heart.

She didn't understand why.

"Why am I feeling like this?" she wondered silently.But no matter how hard she searched, she couldn't find the answer.

"Xiao Tian your house is in front". she tried to wake him But he was still unconscious.

"yosh! Let's go" she moved her hand to knock the door. But,

*thump*thump**thump* her started to race. "what is happening?" she could not tell why her heart was beating so fast.

"is it because of first time coming to 'XiaoTian's' house?" she murmured.

"no! no! no!"" it's not like that" when she thought that her face blushed a little.

"maybe because it's my first time in a boy's house?" she tried to console herself like that.

"yeah! Yeah! It must be that" she got fixed on that.

*knock*knock* she knocked twice on the door.

" Tiane'r is that you?" a weak voice of a old lady sound out.

"is that his grandma?" 'Li Ling' silently murmured to herself.

*thump*thump* her heart started to beat again.

'How will I present myself?'

'is my appearance ok?'

'will she like me?'

…

…

These thoughts were going in her head.

"no! no! no! what am I thinking" when she realized what she was thinking her face became bright red.

*trrr*

The door was opened. A very old lady came out. She is a senior itizen.

"you are?" grandma was surprised as she has not seen such a beautiful girl like her before.

"Greetings, Grandma! I'm Li Ling," she said politely."I'm Xiao Tian's schoolmate. Are you his grandmother?"

Her voice was gentle and full of respect as she addressed the elderly woman.

"yes!" grandma replied. Maybe due to her vision being poor due to age, that grandma didn't see 'Xiao Tian' on 'Li Ling's' back.

"Xiao Tian is little injured and…." 'Li Ling' lightly explained.

"what ? 'Xiao Tian' is injured?" tear's started to flow from grandma's

"Ehh, Grandma, he's okay," Li Ling quickly assured her. "He just fainted. Could you show me his room?"

All traces of her earlier bashfulness had completely vanished—now replaced by concern and a quiet urgency.

"ye..hh" and they went to 'Xiao Tian's room.

'Xiao Tian's room was very small. It only had a small bed and a broken study table. And a small shelf for his personal belonging's.

She carefully layed down 'Xiao Tian' on the bed.

"how is 'Xiao Tian'?' grandma asked. Tears were still hanging on her face.

"He's okay," Li Ling replied gently. "Let me take care of him for a while."

Moved by her sincerity, the grandmother quietly nodded and stepped back, leaving the two alone.

After sometime,

Soon grandma came inside 'Xiao Tian's' room and carefully placed a blanket on 'Li Ling' so that she does not wake up.

Then, as her eyes lingered on the two, her expression shifted—deep, thoughtful.

"Xiao Tian," she whispered, "you have very good luck with girls... just like your father."

"This girl 'Li Ling' is very extraordinary.I can tell just by looking that her background must be extraordinary"

"Xiao Tian," Grandma whispered with a soft smile, "it would be nice if she could become my granddaughter-in-law… and I, her grandma-in-law."

She looked at him affectionately, her eyes full of silent hopes.

"But you'll have to work very hard if you truly want to stand beside her."

Her gaze shifted back to Li Ling, still sleeping peacefully.

"I wonder... what's her connection to the Imperial City Li Family?" she murmured, her expression growing serious."If she really is tied to them, then..."

She let out a long, helpless sigh.

She lightly patted 'Li Ling' and 'Xiao Tian's' hair.

"enimy's!!!"

"hmm?" Her Gaze went toward the Chaos Necklace on 'Xiao Tian's' neck, and pondered for a while and went out leaving them alone.

Chaos Necklace was shining brightly.

Inside 'Xiao Tian's' head,

"this old woman is not ordinary, and also this abnormal boy!!!"

"master what kind freaks are on my head!!" 'Yun' was cursing herself.
