"Dad, how do you drop such a big net into the water?" Qi Yan asked curiously.

"Dad doesn't know either. Let's watch patiently. Do you see? Any profession requires specialized people. Look at the four uncles; the net seems too big to us, but they handle it effortlessly. That's their expertise."

Tan Shaoting laughed after he finished speaking. They're still young; what can they really understand?

The four of them worked together to cast the net. "Little ones, as we drive the boat pulling the net, you'll feel it. Sometimes if we catch something big, we can feel it on the boat too."

"Uncle, do we have to go into the sea?"

The four men laughed, "Of course not, you just sit on the boat and watch."

They finished casting the net and saw a light in the distance.

These fishing boats are from the nearby village. There's an unspoken rule typically followed, avoiding encroaching on each other's areas.

"Ignore them. If they go too far, we'll take their catch."

Being too far away, Tan Shaoting couldn't know what was happening on that boat.

He sat with his children because as the net dragged through the sea, encountering something would cause a big shake, so it was safer to sit down.

"Dad, what good stuff do you think we'll catch?"

Tan Shaoting had already spotted a school of sea fish below but couldn't identify what they were.

"Are you three hungry?"

Daughters are different from sons; she liked snuggling up to her parents.

Tan Shaoting found them all water bottles, and once they finished drinking, gave each of them a peach.

"Xiao Tan, you're really good to the kids."

"They're my own kids."

"Aren't they? Mine aren't as well-behaved as yours, and we think it's great?"

"Uncle, we are well-behaved." Qi Wen hurriedly vouched.

"Hahaha, yes, you really are well-behaved. Little girl, you're young now, but if you were a bit older, I bet they wouldn't let you on the boat."

"When I grow up, I'll build a boat, and then we'll all go to sea together. My mom hasn't been on a big boat or seen how big the sea is."

"Hahaha." Everyone was amused.
