Reborn As Noble

Chapter 647: Sleep, Tears, and Royal Jewels ( 647 )

That morning.

"C-Can't… breathe!! C-Can't… breathhhh!!!" Javier squeaked, his voice muffled as he squirmed helplessly.

Inside his mind:

This isn't Liana or Gloria!!

How do I know!?

Because both of them were right in front of him—

Sitting upright on the bed.

Wearing identical mischievous smirks.

Arms folded.

Watching.

Judging.

"L-Liana! Gloria! Help me!!" he tried to cry out, but all that escaped his lips was a weak wheeze.

"Mmm~ honey bun… don't move~" came the dreamy, loving whisper from behind.

"Eeeeeekkkk!! MAMA!! MAMAAAAAAA!!"

Fransesca, eyes still half-lidded in sleep but arms locked in a death-hug, nuzzled closer.

"My~ you're warm and squishy~ Mama's best pillow~"

"Mamaaaa!! I'm gonna diiiiiie!!"

Liana sighed, already reaching for Javier's towel. "Should we save him now or wait another five minutes?"

Gloria adjusted her glasses. "Let's wait. He's probably learning an important survival lesson."

"Mamaaaa—!"

Squish.

"Ngikkkk!!"

Gloria smiled warmly.

Liana held back a giggle.

The day… had officially begun.

Several minutes later…

Javier lay flat on the bed.

Arms sprawled out.

Breathless.

Soul halfway to the afterlife.

Eyes staring at the ceiling in blank trauma.

One leg twitching slightly.

Bubbles forming at the corner of his lips.

"…Ugh… I nearly saw the afterlife…"

Across the bed, Fransesca stretched with a refreshed sigh, as if she hadn't just body-slammed her son with the might of a doting dragoness.

She yawned gracefully, then stood and fixed her hair in the mirror.

"Honey bun, don't sleep too long, alright? Breakfast will be ready soon."

"Uuugh…" Javier groaned softly, his soul still rebooting.

Fransesca turned to Liana and Gloria, who were already standing beside the bed like graceful guardians.

"And Liana? Gloria?"

"Yes, Lady Fransesca?" Both bowed politely, synchronized as ever.

Fransesca smiled sweetly. "Ensure he's well taken care of. After all, he'll officially be your responsibility once he marries the two of you."

Gloria adjusted her glasses and bowed. "As you command, Lady Fransesca."

Liana gave a proud nod. "Leave him to us."

"Good girls~" Fransesca beamed, then gave Javier one final, loving glance.

"My precious honey bun~ try not to die before breakfast, okay?"

And with that, she exited the room—humming happily—while Javier weakly reached out toward the ceiling.

Liana smirked, glancing sideways at Javier who was still flat on the bed, recovering from the morning "Fransesca Crush."

"Mm… I wonder how he'll be once he turns adult later…" she mused, a sly, playful glint in her eyes.

Gloria gently touched the rim of her glasses and adjusted them slightly, her tone calm as always.

"I think we'll need to spare some cuddle time for Lady Fransesca as well. She is rather possessive when it comes to her son."

Liana giggled softly. "Yes… agree~"

They both looked down at Javier, whose hand was still raised halfway in a silent plea for mercy.

Liana leaned closer to his ear and whispered,

"You better recover soon, young master… we're going to pamper you to death after breakfast."

Gloria followed with a serene smile, "But only after Lady Fransesca finishes her shift."

"…I'm doomed…" Javier muttered, eyes still lifeless.

The two girls just smiled sweetly.

Their young master was finally home.

"Now now, young master. Wake up~" Liana said with her usual serene tone, gently tugging at the blanket.

"Eeekkk!! Lianaaa!! I-I can remove my pants myself!!" Javier jolted upright, grabbing the edge of his sleepwear in panic.

Gloria blinked, amused. "You're quite energetic this morning, young master."

Liana didn't even flinch. Her hands moved expertly, calmly adjusting his outfit.

"No can do, young master. We don't want to be scolded by Lady Fransesca again about proper noble etiquette."

"That's not etiquette, that's humiliation!!" Javier protested, his voice cracking.

Gloria set his morning robe beside him and added softly, "Lady Fransesca said if we let you dress on your own like some commoner, we'd be suspended from personal service for a week."

"…She would…" Javier muttered, defeated, slowly raising his arms as if surrendering his pride to the morning sun.

"Mm~ So dramatic in the morning," Gloria chuckled.

"Now now, young master, stand still," Liana said calmly, kneeling as she gently tugged down his pants with practiced care.

"D-Don't look!" Javier shouted, covering his elephant with both hands like a startled cat guarding its food bowl.

Liana tilted her head, eyes half-lidded with amusement. "Why not? We're going to be your wives sooner or later."

"Still!! Don't look!!" Javier turned red like a boiled lobster.

"Ara~ such a shy boy in the morning," Gloria teased, holding out a folded towel with a small smirk behind her glasses.

"Ugh!" Javier snatched the towel, wrapped it tightly around himself, and stomped off toward the shower like a flustered duck.

The door closed behind him.

Liana glanced at Gloria and whispered with a giggle, "He's cuter when he's embarrassed."

Gloria pushed up her glasses. "Mm. Quite the energetic start to the day. Shall we prepare his clothes?"

"Yes. And maybe some courage too, for when Lady Fransesca starts asking about his growing harem again."

"Fufufu~ Agreed."

After finishing his shower, Javier stepped out—his hair still damp, towel slung over his shoulders. Liana and Gloria were already waiting with his fresh noble attire, immaculately prepared.

"Now, young master," Gloria said with a soft, professional tone, "stand still. Let's get you dressed properly."

"Yeah, yeah…" Javier muttered as he raised his arms slightly.

Gloria helped adjust his inner shirt, smoothing the fabric over his torso, while Liana crouched to handle his pants.

"Alright… now for the pants," Liana said with a small smile.

"Liana… watch the royal jewel…" Javier warned nervously.

But Liana, eyes glinting mischievously, suddenly slid the pants up—fast and rough.

"THE ROYAL JEWEL!!" Javier shrieked.

Javier collapsed dramatically to the floor, curled into a half-fetal position, hands clutching his lower half like a wounded war hero. His face twitched as he let out a strangled breath.

"My...my future heirs…"

"Oh no~" Liana said sweetly, placing a hand to her cheek, "my hand must have slipped~"

Gloria sighed and adjusted her glasses. "Was that before or after you thought about Princess Ferine and Princess Felicia again?"

"Oops~" Liana giggled, kneeling beside Javier. "My bad, young master~ Maybe next time you'll think carefully before adding another royal fiancée."

Javier just lay there, eyes dead, clutching his royal jewel like it held the meaning of life itself.

"I can see the future," he mumbled.

"What does it look like?" Gloria asked.

"…Childless."
