Damn I hate summer, it's way too hot. Anyway, I talked to Bura, the sword lady, I don't know her true name yet, and Kurama, about early graduation. We managed to agree that I'm ready, but they made me promise not to convince Hinata to graduate with me. Something about her hindering my growth, which could be a possible variable that I overlooked.

Anyways, I'm on my way to Hiruzen's office, to talk about the early graduation. Considering how I'm 10 right now, that'd mean I'm one of the youngest to graduate, I could've gone earlier, but I'd rather be over prepared.

I eventually reached the office and I just went up and knocked on the door, the people were quite familiar with me and let me go straight through, it pays of not to be a loud brat. Who'd a thunk it, huh?

"Come in" I heard the familiar elderly voice

"Yo, old man, how've you been?"

"I've been well, and how've you been my boy?"

"Eh, the usual, you know how it is. Something has been on my mind though." Time to start, you feel the déjà vu?

"Well, tell this old man what's on your mind."

"To be blunt, I want to graduate early, I can do the basic jutsus easily and if I had to rate myself I'd say I'm at least Genin-level." he doesn't know I may have learned a few elemental jutsu, he doesn't need to.

"Hm…." the old man seemed to be contemplating something

"Please old man, I promise I-"

"Ok, I'll permit you to graduate early."

"Wait, that easily? Why?"

"You've proved yourself more than ready, Naruto."

Hiruzen POV:

Well, that's a half-truth, while I do trust him, it's not the only reason I'm allowing this early graduation. Both Tsunade and Jiraiya have expressed their concern for Naruto, they believe some time from the village will do him good. I agreed, besides, it also gets him away from Danzo. Oh, I haven't explained what I mean, have I? Well, we'll see after Naruto takes the test.

"Naruto, are you sure about this?"

"Aww is Iruka-sensei worried about me?"

"Obviously you brat, look graduating early means growing up early. You'll have to be way more mature than you normally are, you'll be forced into the life of an adu- no a ninja, which isn't pretty."

"... I know sensei. I knew ever since I stepped up to become a shinobi." I've been preparing myself for that part for years, I'm sure I have it covered.

Iruka sighed before a fond smile graced his lips, he ruffled my hair, "Let's start the test you brat."

Iruka POV:

"Ok Naruto, you'll need to be able to do the three basic jutsu, substitution, transformation, and clone jutsu."

"The test's way too easy sensei, the incompetent ones are gonna be able to graduate way too easily." I guess that's true, but that's just how it is.

"I know Naruto, but it's peaceful right now, we don't need all our graduates to be extremely powerful."

"That's dumb, it's best to be prepared, you never know what could possibly go wrong."

I didn't think of it that way, I'll have to discuss this with Lord Hokage.

"We're going in circles Naruto, let's just start your test, do the jutsu please."

"Bleh" the brat stuck his tongue out at me before he went through the signs and performed each jutsu one by one.

Naruto POV:

"Good job Naruto. You want a black or blue headband?"

"Black please." Iruka handed me the headband which I tied around my neck loosely, dumb I know, but it's for the drip.

Iruka smiled, "It suits you Naruto, let's get some ramen to celebrate, yeah?"

"Yes please sensei!"

3rd person POV:

Sasuke was in the Uchiha training compound, it was empty. It's been empty after what Itachi had done.

The young uchiha had his eyes closed as he sat against the wall, deep in thought.

Sasuke POV:

It's been 2 years and some months since…. it occurred. That bastard Itachi murderered the entire clan, leaving me alone, empty.

I will kill him, that's my only goal as of now. Everything else isn't necessary, something has been bothering me, though. I haven't seen that blonde bastard around the academy in weeks.

Speaking of the blonde, I'm certain I've surpassed him, yes, I'll use him as a stepping stone towards Itachi. Oh, I haven't forgotten that hyuga either, once I get the chance, I'll prove who's stronger….

Naruto POV:

"And then I did the jutsu all cool and stuff." I nodded my head while glazing myself. I had to kinda act more energetic than I was usually considering I'm a 10-year-old, who's technically considered an adult now.

"That's wonderful Naruto." Ayame spoke up as she pinched my cheeks, "You're growing up so fast, one day I'll wake up, and you'll really be Hokage."

I allowed myself a little pout as I looked away, "Not funny." I could hear Ayame giggle.

"Whatever, old man Teuchi, another bowl of pork loin ramen on Iruka-senseis tab" I'm petty, Iruka has forced me to sit through years of boring classes, this is my revenge. I'm sure Iruka could feel his money running away, muhahahah...

Damn that fox has influenced me too much. Just then an anbu appeared, they didn't surprise me that much, I don't think they were trying to hide.

"Uzumaki Naruto, Lord Hokage has requested your presence."

"That so?" I turned to Iruka and Teuchi and his daughter. "Thanks Iruka-sensei, you too old man and Ayame, the ramen was super good. One day when I'm rich, I'll make you my personal chef old man."

Teuchi chuckled, "I'd be glad to Naruto, go on then, you shouldn't keep Lord Hokage waiting."

I nodded as I got up, Mr. anbu took hold of my shoulder, and we disappeared in a flicker. Body flicker, huh? His is a little slower than mine, that puts him at maybe mid-chunin?

Anyway, I wonder what the old fart needs, I've got a weird feeling. Oh! Oh! Oh! I just remembered something really exciting, I've made some progress on the chakra-powered tech, I don't think I'll be making a phone anytime soon but, progress is progress. I'm aiming to make a console or a pc, I miss my video games, I don't think it's understandable how boring it is sometimes, when I'm not training or speaking to my peeps, there's literally nothing to do.

Oh, we're here. Yay.... Yeah something's definitely of. Pray for me?
