Reborn As Joffrey Baratheon!

007 Ten Years Old (3)

A couple of hours later,

The couple were now awake but were lying on the bed with Cersei in his arms, her eyes closed while her hand rested on his chest.

Joffrey, too, closed his eyes; he could feel his mother's soft body pressing against his, her supple breasts getting squished on his stomach.

As the duo basked in the rare peace of this chaotic world, the door to their room suddenly opened.

CLICK

The couple shot open their eyes, both staring at the entrance to see who it was, 'Who the fuck dares to come unannounced?'

Joffrey was furious as he clenched his jaw, but immediately relaxed when he saw the person who entered.

"Sweetling, what are you doing here?" Cersei asked as she breathed a sigh of relief; it was her daughter, Myrcella.

Myrcella's cute face turned beet red when she saw the scandalous position of her brother and mother.

She knew what her brother and mother were doing, and whenever she thought about it, her heartbeat quickened, just like now.

Joffrey smirked as he looked at his cute sister; he knew that even in the show, Myrcella was quite innocent.

"Come here, sister," Joffrey muttered as he patted his side of the bed.

GULP

Myrcella gulped as her face reddened further. Her heart beating like a drum against her chest.

She walked over to the bed, her steps robotic, which only made the mother-son pair want her to tease more.

Myrcella reached the bed and sat on the edge of the bed, her face turned away from her family.

CHUCKLE

Joffrey chuckled at her, grabbing her arm; he pulled her toward him, causing her to yelp as she fell on Joffrey.

"Ah!"

Myrcella's eyes widened when she fell on his chest; she immediately tried to get up, but Joffrey held her, "Don't move!"

Myrcella stopped resisting at her brother's words, her lips turned into a pout as she mumbled, "I am supposed to be the older one..."

Cersei laughed at her children's antics while Myrcella wiggled into a comfortable position with her head on his chest.

"Hmmm," a small smile bloomed on her face as she purred, gearing her brother's heartbeat.

Joffrey placed his arm over her waist, as he asked, "Were you playing?"

"Mmmh, yes, I was playing with the court ladies," Myrcella replied; she wanted to play with her brother, but as he got older, he played with her less and less since he had to train.

"One of the court ladies is getting married," Myrcella informed him as she looked up at her brother.

Her green eyes faltered as she looked at him with fear and uncertainty while recalling one of the terrible days of her life.

Cersei noticed her daughter's expression and her face too crumpled in worry; she bit her lip in helplessness while she caressed her daughter's cheek. "I am so sorry, my love. I am helpless in this."

Myrcella's eyes teared up when she heard her mother, "B-But I don't want to go." She protested in a weak voice, "I wish to stay with you and my brother."

SNIFF

Cersei's heart crumbled when she looked at her daughter crying; she, the Queen, the woman who would do anything to keep her children safe, was helpless in this matter.

"I am sorry, sweetling. Mother prays to the Seven every day that it doesn't happen."

"It will not happen, Mother," Joffrey muttered, his green eyes flaring with anger while he clenched his jaw.

His heart filled with rage as he thought of the man who was the source of his sister's sorrow.

Both Cersei and Myrcella looked at Joffrey, while Cersei smiled wryly; Myrcella looked at her brother with hope.

"Please, brother, I don't want to leave you!" Mycella pleaded as she buried her face in his chest.

Joffrey's heart ached when he felt his sister's tears on his chest. He gently patted her head as he assured, "Don't worry, sister. You are not leaving me!"

Myrcella stopped crying as she looked at her brother; her green eyes twinkled with uncertainty and hope as she asked, "Really? B-But—"

"Don't worry about them," Joffrey said, cutting her off; he knew she fears the man, even Cersei fears that man. 'But that won't stop me,'

Looking at his sister with a reassuring smile, he continued, "I will take care of it, but it will take time. You have to trust me."

SNIFF

Myrcella nodded her head as she wiped away her tears. "I trust you, brother."

Joffrey's smile widened at her answer, and he replied, "Then, good. You must have been tired from playing, so sleep for now."

"Mhhm," Myrcella hummed as she nestled in closer to her brother and closed her eyes, falling asleep almost immediately.

"It seems like she played a lot today; she slept almost immediately," Joffrey mumbled lightly as he patted his sister's head.

Cersei frowned while looking at her son, who casually said that he would convince a man who could be said to be the most powerful man in the realm.

"Joffrey—" As Cersei was about to ask him, Joffrey cut her off and said, "I know, Mother. But I have a plan."

"B-But…" As Cersei was about to ask just what her son's plan was, he put a finger to her lips and shushed her.

"Sshhh, haven't I told you?" Joffrey said as he flicked her forehead, "I will take care of it."

Cersei squinted her eyes as she yelped in pain, rubbing her forehead. "Hmph, fine!!" she said as she turned away and closed her eyes.

Joffrey laughed at his mother's cuteness; he never thought his vixen of a mother could be this cute.

'Don't worry, Mother. We three will never get separated. I promise you!' he swore inwardly.

His mind reeled on the day when his sister came running into his arms while crying her guts out.

It was also the day when Tyrion came to the Red Keep.

Joffrey's eyes shone with rage and anger while he clenched his jaw. His heart beat like a war drum as he thought about the man who could even sway the opinion of the king.

'Tywin Lannister!' – The man who was the Hand under the reign of the mad king, the man to whom the crown owes millions of gold.
