YOU WILL DO WELL TO REMEMBER THESE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS SINCE THEY WILL BE RELEVANT LATER IN THE SERIES.
The blonde human who wore a suit simply chuckled to himself as he created a throne behind him to sit on.
“Ho, is the human king going to sit this one out?” Sonya the dark elf queen said as a throne made of thorns and flowers rose from the ground for her to sit.
The human King simply smiled and watched the upcoming battle while Malom couldn’t stand the fact that he didn’t accept the soul battle on time.
“Don’t be so mad Chaos King Malom, after all, we get to fight the grey dragon.” The human King said with a sly smile while pointing to Draco.
“You, always cunning! You give humans a bad name! Do you have a trick up your sleeve to make away with the water without fighting?” Malom asked as his eyes turned white from red.
“Whoa there, calm down Chaos King, it’s not all of us that were lucky to be born with a high affinity for magic like the dark elves, or a high affinity for a true understanding of chaos and destruction. We weak humans have to struggle just for scrapes and yet you call us cunning? Must be nice to be gifted at birth, I would never know what it’s like anyway.” The human king said to himself while faking pity for his race.
“Huh? What does that mean? Are you trying to say we have it easy?” Sonya said as the battle commenced.
Fred saw the octopus release a dark purple gas that began corroding the area and space itself. The rest of the group jumped back at the sight of the octopus releasing the gas. The gas spread quickly to Fred's position as if it were an arrow shot in his direction.
“Die, mortal! I’ll try to preserve your body so I can use it for my soul.” The octopus said as it teleported close to a male figure in a tight-fitting yellow robe.
“Mage king, I will need your help in making his body suitable for my vessel.” The black octopus said casually.
“Just clear the area of your gas, and I’ll get to work but remember, you owe me for this… hold on, why has the host of the soul battle not declared the victor and the end of the soul battle?” Mage King questioned after speaking with the black octopus.
Normally when one declares a soul battle in hell, the participants have forfeited their chance at reincarnation, redemption, and the casual immortality in hell just for being a soul there. The victor will be able to cease the soul of the defeated and use it to increase its level if the soul is heavy enough (equal or more than the victor's soul in battle or use it to make items or alchemy or manifest the soul as a weapon, armour, clothing or more according to the knowledge of the victor. Once there is a victor, a tablet will appear and document the records and give the victor immunity to the outside world for three minutes to almost infinity depending on the value of the soul so the victor can do as they wish to the soul.
But after the black octopus released the gas near Fred no tablet appeared!
“Corruption King, look out!” The Mage King cried out but it was too late as Fred blitzed right through the black octopus's body, causing a huge splash of green soul particles. The soul particles then flew up and formed into a ball that was encased by a foreign energy as if to hold it at the time.
“No way.” Mage King said to himself as he couldn’t believe what just happened, this dark octopus is a descendant of a being who roams the cosmos known as Cthulu and Fred had just ended its soul and chance to be reincarnated again. But as the Mage King was in disbelief, within that same second, Fred punched at his head with such speed it didn’t even appear blurry but was instant.
“What do you take me for, you brute?” The Mage King said with an insulted expression. Fred’s hand had passed through The Mage King's body through a dark hole and that hole appeared at Fred's side, causing him to punch his side which sent him flying.
“Wow, that wasn’t bad? Hmm?” Fred said as he dusted himself but began feeling an itchy sensation around him. That’s the feeling Fred gets when an attack is slowly building up around him, and it works well against magic since magic basically destroys all logic. Magic may follow some rules but it is generally used to create both the imaginable and the unimaginable.
Fred moved away from there in haste but to the eyes of the others, he vanished!
“Is he using spatial teleportation?” King Finn asked as he turned to the Mage King.
“I hope so, because if even you can’t see him move…. Then…” The Mage King responded as Fred appeared behind King Finn and sent him flying with a kick to the back.
“King Finn!” The Mage King cried out as he created mini black holes around himself and joined his hands together in preparation for a spell.
“Ho, is he finally getting serious?” Sonya commented as she inched forward in her throne.
“Weak bastard! And that giant thinks he can take me on?” Malom said as the aura around him became dense.
“You, why don’t you engage us? I grow restless watching the others fight.” Malom said as he looked up at the flying grey dragon.
‘This bastard!’ The human King and Sonya thought alike as they shot a warning look to Malom who simply ignored them.
‘Does he not understand the strength in numbers? We are even less than six now and would end up as four once King Finn loses with the way he is going about the fight. We will then be left with only The Mage King wrapping up things to join us.’ Sonya thought as she bit her lip and prepared defensive items.
‘Even if we are outmatched by the grey dragon, The Mage King can easily make a deal with the souls he won and summon one of the hell wardens that can handle the grey dragon.’ The Human King thought while relaxing on his throne.
“You can all relax, if you can endure my flames then I will give you a few minutes more to live.” Draco said as he descended down slowly.
But in the eyes of the three below him, it was as if he was coming at them with full speed.
“You bastard!” Malom said as he prepared himself.
Sonyia did the same as she got off her thorny throne and began making several spells that illuminated the area around the trio, the human King got up and flipped through his book as he summoned a turtle that was as large as a cruise ship above the trio.
