Chapter 20: Transformations in the World of Arcadia
Ariana looked up, marveling at the sight of the majestic bird. Inspired by the bright flowers surrounding her, Ariana created the bird's appearance. It had shades of blue and green radiating throughout its body, resembling precious gemstones, and featured a long beak.
[Name: Spirit Acupura]
[Power Level: 1 [Begginer]
[Mana: 150]
[Strength: 20]
[Intelligence: 15]
[Magic: 175]
[Abilities: [Soothing Song Lv1], [Nature Healer Lv1], [Artistic Inspiration Lv1], [Magic Shield Lv1].
Ariana created this creature with the purpose of calming the spirits that still roamed Arcadia. The birds flew close to those lost souls, aiding them in finding their way to peace. With the creation of the Spirit Acupura, Ariana had completed the creation of the four monsters planned before her next time leap. She soared into the skies, without notifying anyone, reached space, and opened the System, preparing to acquire her time leap. However, before making the final decision, Ariana considered that she might not need a time leap after all. She ascended into the space beyond her world and gradually closed her eyes, plunging into a deep sleep.
As time passed and Ariana remained in her deep slumber, Angely often ventured out in search of her but never found her anywhere. However, Angely gave up her search, understanding that Ariana was likely involved in something of great importance.
Three years went by, and the population of the Shadow Wolves had considerably increased, expanding into various regions of Arcadia. Frequent conflicts arose between the Shadow Wolves and Goblins as they both competed for territory. The Shadow Wolves proved to be formidable adversaries for any potential predator.
Humans also noticed the presence of Wolves in the forest near their homes, but it posed no significant threat to them. This was partially due to the respect the Shadow Wolves held for the Forest Guardian, the bear protecting the territory. Aware of the bear's presence, the Shadow Wolves chose not to contest the territory.
After ten more years, Arcadia witnessed significant transformations. The primordial fairies, with their relentless efforts, played a vital role in expanding life to new lands worldwide. Their endeavors bore fruit, allowing nature to thrive.
However, Arcadia's harmony was far from perfect. There was a conflict between the Greedy Ent and a large group of Shadow Wolves. The Greedy Ent, in search of food and territory, ventured into the Shadow Wolves' forest. Their presence did not go unnoticed, and the Shadow Wolves attacked in an attempt to eliminate them. However, the confrontation resulted in the defeat of the Shadow Wolves, who were annihilated and served as food for the Greedy Ent.
The human society in Arcadia continued to progress. Kayn, Noah's son, had now reached adulthood and was immersed in training, preparing to assume the role of the group's future leader. Noah and others who were created by Ariana's will, with the bodies of twenty-year-old adults, were now 45 years old, an age at which many would expect visible signs of aging.
Surprisingly, there were no apparent signs of aging. On the contrary, everyone seemed more alive than ever. This phenomenon was a direct result of their increased power levels. The higher one's power level, the longer their life expectancy.
Everyone in the first group had reached power level three and remained dedicated to training, seeking to strengthen themselves further. With their growing powers and constantly improving abilities, there was rarely a threat they couldn't face.
After another thirty-seven years of deep slumber, totaling fifty years of hibernation, Ariana remained asleep. During this time, the Spirit Acupura continued to roam Arcadia, fulfilling their mission of soothing lost spirits. However, there were spirits that proved uncontrollable. These spirits displayed a grotesque appearance and emitted a malevolent aura from their bodies. One such spirit was a colossal lion that had transformed into a bestial creature with eyes covering its entire body, radiating a terrible and sinister aura.
As powerful as the Spirit Acupura were, they were unable to confront and calm such monsters. Some of these cursed spirits even attempted to attack and devour the Spirit Acupura themselves, becoming incredibly powerful and menacing entities.
On that fateful day, one of these cursed creatures passed through the small human village, casting its malevolent aura upon all the residents. Aurora, one of the village's pillars and responsible for caring for and healing its inhabitants, used her remarkable magic. With an impressive range, she managed to repel the malevolent aura and drive the monster away, protecting the village's residents. Her courageous act and magical skills left the village inhabitants extremely grateful and relieved.
As the years passed, the number of inhabitants in the small village increased, and new families formed. The small garden had evolved into a farm, managed by some of the villagers, with occasional assistance from Safira and Aqua. Safira, with her water manipulation abilities, created a system that allowed the river flowing through the forest to irrigate the crops, significantly improving production. The village thrived and expanded over time.
After another forty-nine years, human society continued to develop. The village now had several houses and structures. Ekiles used his spare time to create weapons and assist people in protecting themselves, earning great respect for his contributions. Humans from the first group were considered the pillars and progenitors of the community, enjoying significant respect and admiration.
Theo and Noah spent most of their time outside the village, training and sharing their knowledge with other residents. They formed training groups and prepared individuals who awakened the System and developed magical abilities. Safira played a crucial role in training and guiding these individuals, preparing them to play an important role in the future and help the entire community.
In the village's center, a bustling market had emerged, where residents could sell the products they cultivated or produced. Transactions were based on barter, and any valuable item was accepted. A woman became interested in some apple tree saplings that another villager was selling and offered a pig in exchange for them.
Food was primarily obtained through hard work on the village farm, where everyone contributed, and the food was distributed equally among the inhabitants. However, some individuals chose to raise their own animals and grow crops on their properties.
Village security had also improved. Some people, trained by Noah, took on patrol duties, ensuring the village was safe and protected from the presence of any unwanted monsters.
As time went on, it became evident that life expectancy was directly related to people's power levels. Those with higher powers appeared to age more slowly, while those who chose a simple life and did not invest in developing their powers began to show signs of aging more rapidly.
One day when Noah led a group of young people on an exploration and training mission, they encountered a Shadow Wolf that had evolved twice, becoming a Demonic Wolf.
[Name: Demonic Wolf]
[Power Level: 2 [Intermediate]
[Mana: 1300]
[Strength: 350]
[Intelligence: 35]
[Magic: 964]
[Abilities: [Shadow Camouflage Lv3], [Enhanced Night Vision Lv2], [Dark Claws Lv2], [Shadow Bite Lv3], [Infernal Breath Lv1], [Cursed Malice Lv1].
The appearance of the wolf made everyone apprehensive, but Noah, with his authority, called for calm. With courage and skill, he faced the wolf, demonstrating his power to everyone. In the end, he emerged victorious.
In a distant location in the depths of the seas, the Kraken was the terror of all other aquatic creatures. It attacked and displayed dominance as if it were the king of the seas. However, one day, its audacity crossed the limits, and it decided to challenge the Deep Wyrm. With a single glance, the Deep Wyrm repelled it, leaving the Kraken wishing never to encounter that creature again.
Angely was growing anxious, eagerly awaiting Ariana's return to witness all the changes that had occurred in Arcadia and the new transformations that the goddess of creation would bring with her.
The primordial fairies had expanded their activities to the frozen lands, a distant place from the primordial fairy village. In this new environment, Angely began creating creatures adapted to cold temperatures. She even visited Glacius, the guardian of the frozen lands, who was extremely delighted with her presence, as he had not seen anyone in many years.
Angely was determined to continue her mission of spreading life throughout Arcadia, exploring new lands and creating incredible beings. The anticipation of Ariana's return and her future creations drove her to work even harder.
