Tyr seriously was the grumpiest man I've ever known in my life! I just wanted him to understand that Frigga will love him anyway as her son, and the idiot still doesn't want to accept it for some reason.

I know he feels ashamed of himself and probably also hates himself but even then… Ahh, well, I do get where he's coming from, and I understand his reasons too but…

Even after understanding them, I still believe he should've gone for it.

But yeah I don't think it's healthy to fight with him, he's my companion and familiar and everything, it would be better to get along if possible.

"Master! Please don't fight with Tyr, he is a good friend, gyuuhh!" Root said, floating around me on his small form. "Get along! Don't be mean to each other! Be friends! Be friends gyuuuhh!"

"I don't get what's going on but we're in the sky! Woooohhhh!" Myconidas' head was popping out of my shadow while looking at the oceans beneath.

"Bribibibi!"

"Tchuk!"

"Kyuuh!"

Meanwhile, the three other Spirits, Medusa, Obsidian, and Amethyst didn't really understand anything we were talking about and were probably making noises because they were hungry.

"You're right Root, I guess we should get along," I said. "Tyr, let's just get over with it, okay? No hard feelings?"

"Easy for you to say!" Tyr said angrily. "Whatever…"

He quickly appeared again in all his spherical splendor, opening one of his big red eyes and looking at me and then at Root.

"Root, were you able to track the origin of the nightmare while we were at it?" he wondered.

"Yes!" Root nodded. "I tracked it."

"Wait, what did you track?" I wondered.

"While we were sealed inside your Shadow Realm, Root used his Spiritual Magic and Abilities to attach a piece of himself to the Nightmare Essence, trying to dissipate it." Tyr explained.

"It didn't help, but once the Nightmare Essence flew away, I was able to track where it went, it moved through all of space! Gyuuuuh!" Root said.

"Ohh, that's pretty interesting…" I said. "So what did you find?"

"It went to another dimension!" Root said. "Another dimension that is also anchored within this world… How strange gyuuuh!"

"So the Nightmare Void is a dimension of its own, I had imagined it would be more like another realm or a planet, but it is something much more complex then," I wondered.

"Yes, probably!" Root nodded. "I was unable to see much more after that, because my tiny piece was destroyed the moment it got inside."

"By what?" I asked.

"Someone… someone that controls that dimension!" He said. "I believe it might be the big bad, gyuuuhh!"

"The big bad, huh…" I nodded. "So whatever is the origin of the Nightmare Curse, it created the Nightmare Void, a Dimension that connects to all Nightmare Realms, and where the Nightmare Demons live, inside some sort of floating castle I think."

"Yeah you got that right," Beatriz said.

"Was this Demon of Childhood your brother, Beatriz?" I asked her.

"Yeah, he was my big brother, I'm younger than him… He actually looks like a child but he's an old man," explained Beatriz.

"Huh… Were you attached to him?" I asked.

"What?! Not at all! I hated him! He was such a big bully!" Beatriz complained. "Always annoying me and picking on me because I wasn't strong enough, he often told me I didn't deserve to be part of the family… He mocked me because I couldn't create my own Nightmare Realm."

"Oh…" I muttered.

"Yeah! I'm glad he's dead honestly, good riddance! Hahaha!" Beatriz was very happy, giggling with her cute cat mouth.

"Oh well, I guess that's for the better, I wouldn't want you weeping because we killed your beloved brother," I laughed a bit too.

"Hmph! That rotten family that abandoned me can go to hell for all I care!" She said angrily. "If we find another Nightmare Demon I'll help you kill them…"

"Woah, really?" I wondered.

"Yeah whatever, I don't care about them anymore. Before, I always did, but that didn't actually work at all in my favor, I was just being used," she groaned angrily. "They pretend to be a family but they're all just crazy to just cut each other's throats."

"That's a bit sad…" I said. "I suppose you're happier with me then?"

"I am not happy with you either!" She hissed at me. "If anything I just want to be free and do as I please!"

"That's fair, every living being deserves freedom," I said.

"So you'll free me then?!" She asked.

"No, not yet, you're too dangerous… Once you fully reform and become a better person I'll consider it," I smiled at her.

"NOOOOO!"

She grabbed her cat's head with her paws and screamed.

"W-What's wrong with you kitten? Are you okay?!" Alma asked Beatriz, as she held her with her arms, Beatriz was going a bit haywire.

"No I'm not fine, fat girl!" She said, although Alma only heard cat sounds.

Wait, why is she calling her that?!

"Don't call Alma fat! She's cute! I'm going to eat your soul the next time you dare insult her!" I said.

"E-Eh?! She didn't even hear me!" she complained.

"I don't care! Also that little extra only makes her cuter!" I said, protesting.

"H-Huh?" she glared at me with a weirded-out face.

Ah, right, I shouldn't think that…

"Don't worry about her, she's fine now," I said to Alma, caressing Beatriz. "She didn't scratch you or something?"

I held her little hands gently, she was very warm and a bit sweaty.

"I-I'm fine, thank you for worrying, Maria…" she smiled gently.

Ahh, she's so cute!

Ugh, wait a second, why am I thinking that again?!

"M-Maria? Are you feverish?"

She touched my forehead, noticing I was growing redder.

"Oh my! Your forehead is really hot! Are you sick? I suppose we should rest once we return to the academy…"

"A-Ahh… I'm fine Alma…"

As I grew embarrassed for some weird, stupid reason…

"Hey, Maria! Focus! There's something over there!"

"I see it too!"

Tyr and Beatriz alerted me of something happening on a nearby island.

TRUUUM!

I felt a tremendous Nightmare Presence coming from there.

A huge dome-shaped Nightmare Realm had manifested around several islands at once!
