Chapter 1280: Emily's Efforts & Arthur VS Katherine

Emily recalled her past, her family's struggles, their hope towards her, and everything else.

It was harsh, to have such a big responsibility. Her cheerful, tomboyish personality often times never showed anybody how much she had struggled through life.

She was a hard worker from the very beginning, since she started moving on her two legs…

And right now, affording a lose was not something she could ever allow herself to do.

"I cannot lose, I'm sorry."

Her eyes overflowed with electricity, as Eduard gasped the moment he sensed a tremendous pressure that even surpassed his Dream Aura!

"T-This is…?!"

"But I'm taking this victory! I cannot afford to get bad grades!"

RUMBLE!

In that very moment, everyone saw it both students and teachers. Their eyes widened, while some covered them due to how blindingly bright it was.

As she fought all this time, constantly unleashing physical blows, Emily charged her armor, which could gain more electricity the more blows she received or landed on a foe.

After charging as much electricity as physically possible, Emily decided to release it all, right now.

And it was in the shape of a golden dragon made of pure thunder!

"This is my true power, Eduard!"

With a mighty roar full of determination, she swung her fist upwards, clashing against the Titan's Palm, and then a massive dragon made of golden thunder rose, roaring wrathfully.

"{Golden Thunder Dragon Ascension}"

"ROOOAAARRRR!"

"W-Wha…!?" Eduard was completely shaken, taken aback entirely. "Impossible!"

TRUUUM!

The dragon pierced through his attack, the Titan Palm gained countless cracks in a split second, before suddenly, shattering into pieces!

Crack, crack…!

CRAAASH!

And then the dragon rushed towards the rest of his body made of stone, piercing through it by coiling around, destroying everything!

"N-No…! How is this possible?! What is this power?! This was.. THIS WAS YOUR TRUMP CARD?!"

Eduard was completely shocked, so much he screamed and lost all his composure.

He tried to fight back but it was just utterly futile!

His entire stone armor fell apart and exploded into smithereens.

And then, the dragon reached him, opening its giant jaws and devouring him.

BOOOMMM!!!

He was completely engulfed by an explosion of thunder, as his entire body took almost the full punishment, he felt his insides frying and his skin burning.

He was incredibly tough, so Emily knew he could take it and live at the end…

But even then, amidst his agonizing defeat, Eduard couldn't help but glance at that girl with admiration.

"Incredible… Emily!"

FLAAASH!

The lightning dissipated with a bright shockwave of light, before everything went back to normal, and Eduard's body dropped over the floor, barely alive.

In that moment, every teacher that doubted Emily's strength compared to Eduard dropped their jaws to the floor in utter disbelief. Even the students were shocked. Eduard was left over the floor, completely unconscious. And Emily, stood there, as the victor.

"I WON!" Emily roared, raising her fist into the sky.

Maria and her friends and family glanced at the scene in disbelief, before Maria started laughing loudly, excited by the amazing display of power that Emily showcased.

"Hahahaha! So that's why she was pretending to be losing, huh? She was charging as much electricity as possible to blast him to smithereens, one big attack!" Maria laughed. "Amazing, Emily!"

"S-She has grown so much…" Alma swallowed saliva nervously. "Aah, I'm nervous now… She's so amazing!"

"Incredible…" Sofia muttered. "Since when Emily had that power?"

"She discovered its true function a bit ago," said Maria. "Well, I kind of helped her figure it out. She can get more lightning by attacking or receiving attacks. Once she has enough charged, it is as if she became a Lightning Magician… I'm guessing that dragon was her strongest lightning attack so far."

As everyone was amazed by what Emily had achieved, another fight was still ongoing, Arthur and Katherine struggled despite all the explosions around them.

Their battle was intense and focused. Katherine moved around, while firing her Light Spheres and making them take on Arthur's attacks.

At the same time, she was constantly aiming to blind him, exploding her glass-like Light Spheres into his face so he would go blind and give her an easy win.

However, even though she had done this a couple of times already…

"His eyes simply won't bleed at all?!"

Katherine had no idea of something very important.

Arthur's eyes were the eyes of Gods themselves.

Yes.

Maria had created his body using not only his original body parts but even the Eyes of Baldr, the God of Sunlight.

Therefore, they were Divine Eyes that could easily withstand such damage without any issues.

If anything, he cried a few tears, but that was about it!

"Your tactic isn't going to work well, you need something better."

Arthur finally broke through her Light Spheres, making them explode one after another as he rushed towards her.

Then, the Essence of Yin and Yang within him, born from his unique Physique forged by Maria by infusing fragments of her own Yin and Yang powers, emerged.

With all the levels he had gained, he had constantly developed and further assimilated these powers into himself.

With his new Spear Skill and the derived Skills he was developing, even more.

This spear he held, which was only one of the many spears Maria had been mass-producing for everyone, which he had taken to practice, had also begun to change.

It became his Dream Weapon, and it was no longer just a "mass produced spear", it began to rapidly assimilate various aspects of Arthur.

The Essence of Yin and Yang within him, for example.

"Haaah!"

With swift thrusting attacks, Arthur unleashed a barrage of attacks which released explosions of light and darkness, encompassing Katherine constantly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

"Ugh…! Uuurrgh!"

Katherine gritted her teeth as she constantly tried to evade, jumping over her Light Sphere and trying to fly away from danger while controlling the other five, which were quickly blown up and then allowed Arthur to jump towards her again.

"I got you."

His eyes glowed brightly, as lasers of sunlight were released, hitting the Light Sphere Katherine used and then blowing it up, making her fall from the sky.

BOOOM!
