The cave was dark the sunlight can barely enter after walking for few minutes Adam noticed two goblins.

He crept up behind one of them and grabbed its neck, strangling the goblin to its death.

'It's true that my MMA talents are paying off.'

Next to summoners, mages appear to be overpowered in [Horizon].

Because of their familiar, summoners have the disadvantage of slowly levelling up.

But.

What about magicians? As a wizard, you can learn all of the spells from all of the affinities.

Isn't it a little overpowering?

That is why in [Horizon], players with the mage job can only learn 7 basic spells from each affinity, after which they can learn 1 spell among the 7 affinities for each level, balancing the power of players with the mage job.

Adam took a glance at another goblin which was walking towards the entrance of the cave with stride steps.

The stupid goblin didn't even know that his companion has been killed, it was just walking straight to check the situation outside.

Adam dashed towards the stupid goblin, who didn't even see him. He yanked the heart from its green body.

Adam changed his equipment to a wand and removed an MP potion from his inventory and held it in his hand before entering deep inside the cave.

After a few minutes of travelling, he arrived at the location where goblins reside. They were a little group of about 20 goblins, and their leader was only a [Goblin leader] with a level of only 12.

It will be a tough fight or he may also die if he was a normal mage but he had unique [Skill: Star strike and Title: Spear God] and years of experience.

These two are the advantages he had 'I hope that goblin Leader will use a spear.'

He wasn't sure because the guideline didn't specify which monsters used which weapons, but even so, he could kill it with a star strike.

When Adam had a clear view of the surroundings, he noticed a small cage containing four young girls who were wearing tarnished clothes and small bruises all over the body and emitting disgusting smells.

The goblin leader was crunching some meat while seated on the podium-like structure.

'No, it's not meat it's human flesh in the uncooked form' his gaze didn't even faze he had more gruesome scenes than this over the years.

Even though it was a game, it felt so real, and his adrenaline rushed throughout his body.

'No! No! Adam, you fool, You have to calm down! calm down he said in his heart as he halted few centimetres away from the first group of goblins.

"Fireball"

"Boom.." as he cast the spell the three goblins in the front in front of him instantly turned into nonetheless.

Adam rolled to his left and dodged the incoming attack from the goblins and cast another fireball.

"boom.." this time luck was in his side four of them instantly died and turned into nonetheless.

He was in trouble this time. With their clubs, eight goblins raced towards him. Adam can't go any further since he's blocked by a massive boulder, and there's a group of girls trapped in a little cage alongside him.

They expressed their surprise, excitement, and hope that this attractive mage would kill the group of hideous monsters and save them.

'I can't go back any further... if that's the case,'

"Hup.." Adam jumped on top of the cage and moved to the massive top of the boulder beside it.

Even though the boulder was huge and tall its peak was not very broad and was barely enough for him to stand in two feet.

'I can't drag this any further

"Fireball"

"gulp..gulp" he gulped down the potion on his left hand the same bittersweet passed through his tongue.

Adam continued to cast fireball...

"boom..boom"

"Keruk...Kurk.." the goblins screamed as they died and turned into nonetheless leaving behind their spoils.

The girls were amazed and jumped in joy inside the cage.

Adam's HP and MP was restored and improved now he can use fireball 6times in a row without using MP potion.

Adam jumped down to the ground and stood opposite the goblin Leader.

Seeing its subordinates death, it was furious,

How can this puny ant provoke me?

I will kill you human!?

The goblin ruler stood up from its podium like the place it took out the weapon from its side, unfortunately, it was a sabre.

It rushed towards Adam with heavy footsteps, despite its size it ran pretty much fast.

"Ora...Ora.."

Unexpectedly it had skill Adam never thought this low-level goblin Leader will have a skill.

"Bang...Boom" fortunately the goblin ruler was a fool it, turned the sabre to the other side instead of stabbing him, it banged Adam.

Adam was sent flying, finally hit a boulder and slid down.

"You meathead you, should have sliced me up instead," Adam said and quickly gulped down two bottles of HP potion. He didn't had time to drink another bottle as the meathead, was only a few centimetres away from him.

Adam rushed towards the goblin ruler aiming his heart with the spear. Seeing this, the goblin ruler smirked as it tried to block the attack with its sabre but, it was no use.

Adam was alarmed it was not because it shielded its body with sabre the reason was if his spear launches a strike on this sabre it will truly shatter, which was a waste of money.

The sabre could at least be an uncommon item or there is even a chance of it being a rare item so, Adam changed his spears angle towards the goblins head.

It didn't have any time to react, soon a big hole appeared on its head and it died and turned into nonetheless.

Leaving behind its spoils.
