Rebirth: Living in Wilderness with My Superpower

Chapter 1165: The Pets of Space

Even the Water Spirit's pool was piled with all sorts of strange things.

The Water Spirit cautiously jumped into its lair and found many Stone Beads at the bottom of the pool, initially feeling a bit annoyed, as this was its territory!

Even though it hadn't returned for a while, that didn't mean others could just come and mess around.

Previously, those pesky humans kept throwing in dead fish and rotten shrimp, which was quite annoying, and now they're even tossing stones!

The Water Spirit was just about to throw everything out, but it paused when it touched the stones.

These stones were very cool, cooler even than itself; to it, they were undoubtedly the best nourishing items.

Huh?

It blinked nonexistent eyes, incredulously reaching out to touch other things and indeed felt a very comfortable coolness.

This distant cool sensation quickly soothed its heat-induced agitation from the Fire Spirit; Little Droplet couldn't resist anymore, yawned sleepily, and hugged those stones, falling into slumber.

The Mosquito-eating Plant was beside the puddle, could initially hear the Water Spirit cursing below, but soon the noise subsided.

Curiously, the Mosquito-eating Plant peered down and saw Little Droplet sleeping sprawled out.

Huh?

While finding it strange, the Mosquito-eating Plant suddenly sensed movement behind it. Alert, it turned around and saw a pile of Cow Dung happily transporting something towards here.

The Cow Dung acted as if it didn't see the Mosquito-eating Plant, just concentrated on moving items.

???

The Mosquito-eating Plant struggled to understand and finally found Small Cedarwood in a bunch of bizarre flowers and plants.

At this point, Small Cedarwood had grown a bit more, and upon seeing the Mosquito-eating Plant return, it merely waved its leaves casually to greet.

The Mosquito-eating Plant deftly squatted beside Dawn Cedar's basket, pointed at the moving Cow Dung with a leaf, as if asking what it meant.

Dawn Cedar glanced helplessly at the sky, waved its leaves softly, as if communicating with the Mosquito-eating Plant.

Soon, the Mosquito-eating Plant understood that the Cow Dung actually had a serious collecting obsession.

It could navigate through that dense fog; who knows what's on the other side of the fog, but it somehow managed to find lots of strange things from the unknown fog.

Recently, the owner had just come to collect a batch of white seeds, encouraging the Cow Dung to transport even more diligently.

Useful or not, everything was piled here, including the water pool.

The Mosquito-eating Plant, aware of the situation, suddenly became interested; considering it couldn't leave for a while, why not wander around this dense fog with the Cow Dung, perhaps discovering something different about this place?

Thinking of this, the Mosquito-eating Plant nimbly leapt onto the ground, preparing to greet the Cow Dung, but as it moved, it felt one of its heads being pulled.

Turning back to look, it was actually Small Cedarwood, whose leaves wrapped around it, seemingly expressing pridefully: Take me along.

Mosquito-eating Plant: …

To be honest, this fellow didn't have variable roots, unable to run back and forth like itself; previously, it could only stay in a basket, carried by the owner and others to run around, but since the owner discovered the Space and put it inside, Small Cedarwood had remained in this spot without moving.

Though usually indifferent, deep down… it must still yearn for freedom, right?

For some reason, the Mosquito-eating Plant was touched; it moved its leaves, tried hard to sling the basket's strap on itself, thus beginning the days of running with Dawn Cedar on its back.
