Rebirth in HxH World With Gardevoir

Chapter 40: Netero

The yellow aura surrounding Tyranitar flared, surging like boiling magma. A second later Massive boulders materialized in the air. They hovered ominously above Wrath And then came crashing down.

"BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!"

Like a meteor shower, the enormous rocks buried him alive, leaving nothing but a deep, cratered impact site. That was the end of Wrath. Or ratherThe end of a fool who thought he could challenge Larry.

Satotz, leaning against the stone wall, let out a slow breath. A part of him couldn't help but pity them. For years, Envy and Wrath had terrorized others with their raw power. Yet in the end They had finally met someone stronger. And that had sealed their fate. "If you walk too close to the river, eventually… you'll get your shoes wet."

A flash of white light passed through the cavern And Tyranitar vanished, returning to Larry's body. Meanwhile, Gardevoir gracefully approached Pyorn and Satotz. A gentle pink glow radiated from her hands. Healing Wave.

The warm aura washed over them, rapidly mending their wounds and replenishing their depleted aura. Pyorn blinked in disbelief. "It… even has healing abilities?" she muttered under her breath. Satotz? Satotz didn't even bother reacting anymore. He had seen too much today. At this point, his shock had turned to numb acceptance.

Now that the intruders had been dealt with, the three of them finally turned their attention back to the real prize. The treasures of the Solvren Ruins. After some brief discussion, they divided the loot Pyorn and Satotz each took one of the four sacred goblets, while Larry claimed the remaining two.

As for the rest of the artifacts, relics, and treasures? Larry took everything. Not that Pyorn or Satotz minded. If they were being honest—They were just grateful to still be alive.

Larry accepted the division of the loot without hesitation. He wanted two of the sacred goblets—one for his personal collection and the other for trade. Then, under the stunned gazes of Pyorn and Satotz, Gengar opened its wide mouth And swallowed everything.

The goblets, the relics, the countless treasures—all vanished into its stomach for safekeeping. A spatial Nen ability. Pyorn and Satotz, still trying to process everything they had just witnessed, could no longer keep track of how many different abilities Larry's Nen beasts had displayed.

They only knew one thing for certain— Larry was a monster. A person who defied all common sense. Healing, Nen removal… These alone would make any Nen user a rare, highly sought-after genius. But Larry? He had all of them. And his abilities were far superior to anyone else of the same type.

This didn't even include his Nen beast—which was suspected to rival even Chairman Netero in strength. Even battle-hardened hunters like Pyorn and Satotz found themselves speechless. With all the treasures secured, the three left the Solvren Ruins. Five people had entered. Only three came out. At the entrance, Larry and Satotz exchanged contact information, then parted ways. Larry had seen enough fighting for one day— He was starving. He figured he might as well enjoy some volcanic cuisine before moving on.

Once Larry was gone, Satotz also bid farewell to Pyorn, leaving her alone at the ruins' entrance. The reinforcements would be arriving soon, and she needed to explain what had happened. But before that Satotz stepped into a secluded alley, pulled out his phone, and typed a long message to someone. The contact name at the top of the screen read— "Ging."

At the same time, Pyorn also took out her phone. she made a call. The name on the other end? Chairman Netero. Larry's abilities weren't just impressive. They were dangerous. She had to report this. After all The Hunter Association needed to take Larry seriously.

Somewhere in the United Nations of Bergrose— A lone island, untouched by civilization. Massive forests towered across the landscape, teeming with prehistoric creatures. Then—"BOOM!" A thunderous impact shook the ground.

A colossal beast, resembling a Tyrannosaurus Rex, collapsed lifelessly, its massive form kicking up clouds of dust. Atop its corpse, a lone figure sat cross-legged. He wore a gray-white robe, a dark scarf wrapped around his neck. His unkempt hair peeked through the scarf, giving him a rugged, disheveled appearance. Despite his handsome features, he clearly didn't care much for grooming—stubble lined his face. But his eyes— They burned with intelligence.

If not for his relatively neat clothing, one might have mistaken him for a wandering vagrant. But this man was no ordinary drifter. This was Ging Freecss, One of the world's five strongest Nen users. A legendary Hunter. And the very person Satotz had just contacted. Holding a fresh apple, Ging took a casual bite, leaving a clean imprint of his teeth in the fruit. His mind replayed the message he had just received. Then He grinned. "Larry, huh…? I'd love to meet him someday." A thoughtful pause. "Who knows—maybe I'll need his help in the future."

Hunter Association Headquarters—Top Floor The President's Office. Chairman Netero leaned back in his chair, a light chuckle escaping his lips. "Hohoho… The young ones are truly remarkable." His fingers stroked his long white beard as he read through the report in his hands. Then, with an amused smirk, he muttered—"Maybe he's stronger than me?"

At the top right corner of the report was a photo of Larry. A young man with sharp features and intense eyes—a face both handsome and dangerous. The Hunter Association's efficiency was impressive. They had gathered all of this within mere hours.

Even his falsified identity records had been traced. But Netero wasn't surprised. The world was a big place. There would always be exceptional individuals who slipped through the cracks. Take Meteor City, for example—A lawless pit where thousands of stateless people were born, raised, and discarded.

Netero didn't think Larry was from there. He had a different air about him. Something far more dangerous. Something that made even Isaac Netero, One of the strongest men alive Feel intrigued.
