Rebirth as a Time Dragon

Under the bright sunlight, a gentle breeze passed through the towering mountains and vast forests of the Sky Garden.

Even ancient dragons or demi-god spirits, when their bodies were brushed by this breeze, felt nothing unusual and continued focusing on their tasks.

The breeze vanished in an instant, swept across mountains and forests, crossed rivers and valleys, and finally spiraled around Spirit Hill, converging into a humanoid silhouette composed of a cyan whirlwind. The divine kingdom of the God of Power and Courage had now been occupied and transformed by God Garon into his new divine kingdom.

The current Wind Elemental Queen maintained a human form, standing at about 1.7 meters tall, with a slender and graceful figure, while God Garon was in his over-a-hundred-meter-long dragon form.

After establishing a connection and gaining favor with the Wind Elemental Queen, God Garon had not neglected this relationship, often visiting the Wind Elemental Plane as a guest or inviting the Wind Elemental Queen to his divine kingdom.

The personalities of deities are not uniform.

Some gods indeed abandon all emotions, staying aloof and untouched by the world.

However, most gods also possess emotions and desires.

Deities rely on faith, and the emotions of believers are complex and intense. Through faith, deities experience these emotions, some rejecting and purging them, others accepting them peacefully.

The Wind Elemental Queen is a god with emotions.

The resurrection of a primordial wild god was not a small matter, but it wasn't particularly significant either, especially since the Iron Queen was not one of the most powerful wild gods.

However, God Garon knew that the Wind Elemental Queen would not have come solely to inform him of the Iron Queen's resurrection.

Under God Garon's gaze, the Wind Elemental Queen continued, "You might not know, the Iron Queen died in the Battle of Dawn at the hands of the Nine-Faced Dragon God's counterattack."

However, for primordial wild gods, as long as the multiverse exists and the primordial force they represent remains, they will not truly die and will eventually return.

If the wild gods revived, she, as a former wild god who had turned into a deity, would be a primary target.

Hearing the Wind Elemental Queen's words, God Garon nodded, "The dragon gods will also take action, targeting the Iron Queen."

"As soon as she shows herself again, she will have no escape."

Following this, God Garon, with a mindset of exploration, asked the Wind Elemental Queen for more information about the wild gods, just in case. The wild gods were ancient, and only a fellow wild god like the Wind Elemental Queen could provide deep insights.

After their discussion, God Garon took the Wind Elemental Queen on a tour around the Hero Domain for a while.

Finally, the Wind Elemental Queen prepared to leave.

She needed to maintain the order and rules of the Wind Elemental Plane and couldn't stay away for too long.

Before leaving, God Garon solemnly said, "Arcadi, I invite you to become an ally of the Dragon God System, to form an alliance. Should the wild gods attack in the future, we will fight side by side."

The dragon clan is currently targeted and blocked, seen as vulnerable by many deities.

However, the Wind Elemental Queen didn't mind this.

She smiled slightly, "I agree, but are you sure? Forming an alliance with me means opposing Gobarlan."

The Earth Elemental Lord, Gobarlan.

The conflict between the Earth Elemental Lord and the Wind Elemental Queen had started back when they were wild gods and had only intensified. Their followers and people viewed each other as enemies on sight.

"It doesn't matter. Many gods already target the Dragon God System; one more Earth Elemental Lord won't make a difference."

God Garon confirmed.

The Wind Elemental Queen was one of the few gods who had not shown malice towards the dragon clan and had a good relationship with God Garon, making her an excellent ally.

Forming alliances and cooperation often meant giving up other potential allies.

For instance, aligning with the Court of Joy meant opposing the Court of Sorrow and Rage and the Furious Gods who disliked the Court of Joy.

But these were acceptable trade-offs.

As God Garon said, the dragon clan had already attracted enough enemies.

"In that case, I am happy to gain such a powerful ally as the Dragon God System."

The Wind Elemental Queen smiled gently.

Afterward, without much fanfare, the Wind Elemental Queen became an ally of the Dragon God System and left the Hero Domain, returning to the Wind Elemental Plane.

Suddenly, she stopped.

A message appeared in her mind, transforming into a low voice.

"Vishield, I warned you immediately after your resurrection to wait for the right moment and not to expose yourself, alerting the gods."

The Iron Queen responded coldly, her thoughts clanging like colliding steel.

"Only the Great Demon Lord can command me. You may have revived me, but you can't order me around. Heh, that's impossible."

The Great Demon Lord she mentioned was the Lord of Terror, the primordial wild god who split the Nine-Faced Dragon God in half.

The Lord of Terror, the Great Demon Lord, the Great Demon God.

He was one of the top figures among the primordial wild gods, the Iron Queen's master.

"Preparations to revive the Lord of Terror are underway."

"If your recklessness delays the Lord's resurrection... you know the consequences."

The Iron Queen fell silent.

The voice continued, "Vishield, suppress your impulses and recklessness. When the time is right, you can restore your power."

The Iron Queen impatiently said, "Time, time, when is the right time?"

"If the Demon Lord were here, there would be no hiding. He would have already started slaughtering all, plunging the gods into terror."

The voice in her mind turned cold, "Because of too many disobedient, reckless wild gods like you, we need to wait for the right time. Do you want to repeat the past mistakes, being killed by the gods again due to disunity?"

The Iron Queen snorted, "I understand, but I don't need you to tell me what to do."

As the Wind Elemental Queen and God Garon had suspected.

To overthrow divine power and return to the primordial era, the wild gods had indeed begun to cooperate and plot the revival of more wild gods.

The Goblin Pantheon, led by a great deity named Magnubia.

Tragically, the great deity was not free.

The goblin deity was a servant of the God of Tyranny, Bane, driven by the God of Tyranny.

During a disaster faced by the Goblin Pantheon, the God of Tyranny took advantage and forced the goblin deity into servitude. To escape Bane's control, the goblin deity had tried many methods but failed.

To break free from Bane's control, the goblin deity was willing to ally with the Dragon God System.

Additionally, besides the Wind Elemental Queen, another elemental lord agreed to ally with the Dragon God System.

The Fire Elemental Lord, the Lord of Flames, the Master of Fire, the True Lord of Flames.

During the time-line of the Alpha Empire, Garon had an acquaintance with a saint of the Fire Elemental Lord.

The relationships among the four elemental lords were not harmonious.

However, water and fire, and wind and earth were mutually exclusive, unable to coexist, while water and earth, and wind and fire could cooperate.

Moreover, the elemental lords only cared about their respective elemental planes, indifferent to the affairs of dragons and gods. The Fire Elemental Lord allied with the dragon clan to use its power to defeat his nemesis, the Water Elemental Lord.

The Fey Pantheon, the Goblin Pantheon.

Additionally, wanderer gods, poetry gods, slaughter gods, and other deities without pantheons were gradually drawn into the Dragon God System, willing to bet on the dragon clan, hoping to elevate their status when the dragon clan regained dominance.

Despite the Immortal Dragon Queen's best efforts in selecting suitable targets and using every possible means to coerce and lure them, a 100% success rate was unattainable.

Thus, the gods discovered the Dragon Gods' strategy of expanding their alliance.

This was expected by the Dragon Gods.

Since the alliance plan was discovered, it was brought into the open.

The Dragon Gods openly issued decrees, widely inviting affiliated deities and promising various benefits.

For weaker deities, even middle powers, and small pantheons, this was a significant temptation.

They didn't care if the dragon clan regained dominance because their situation was already poor. It was better to bet on the dragon clan, as their circumstances couldn't worsen. For example, fairies and goblins, always oppressed and at the bottom of the food chain.

Gradually, a divine alliance group centered around the Dragon God System emerged.

The current divine pattern was no longer all gods targeting the Dragon God System but divided into two factions.

One side was the gods who recognized dragon dominance, known as the Dragon God Faction.

The other side was gods who refused to submit to dragon authority and continued to sanction the dragon clan, known as the Pantheon Faction.

Those willing to bet on the dragon clan were still a minority among the gods.

Although some gods allied with the dragon clan, overall, the Dragon God Faction was still at a disadvantage against the Pantheon Faction. Meanwhile, the gods' fear of the dragon gods intensified, with sanctions and blockades increasing, almost to the point of open conflict.

Beneath the calm surface of the multiverse, the gods' hearts were restless. The pure sanctions and blockades were becoming less effective as the dragon clan endured the toughest times and was slowly developing.

 war between the Dragon God Faction and the Pantheon Faction could break out at any moment.

If a deity or pantheon with enough prestige and willingness to lead the charge emerged, the crusade against the Dragon God Faction might have already begun.

In the Boundless Wilds, the green forest clearing, the realm of Arfan.

In Corellon's temple, divine light shone brightly, divine power surged, and the elven gods gathered for a divine council, with constant disputes among the elven gods.

"Chief deity, the Dragon God Faction is growing. Soon, it will be completely uncontrollable."

"The gods need a pioneer willing to face the Dragon God System and bear the greatest risk."

"Are you suggesting our elven pantheon be the one to take the lead? Have you forgotten the giant pantheon's fate?"

"What is there to fear? As long as the gods truly unite, the current Dragon God Faction is nothing to worry about."

In just two hundred years, two cross-planar wars erupted, severely injuring the elves, exterminating the giants, and shattering a layer of the Beastlands and nearly burning the Elemental Plane of Fire to ashes, with countless casualties.

Now, the gods finally realized the dragon clan's determination and unstoppable momentum, but their tardiness and difficulty in uniting worsened the situation.

With the formation of the Dragon God Faction and more deities getting involved.

If an open crusade against the dragon clan began, it would lead to an unprecedented divine war, a cataclysm. It wouldn't just be a matter between two pantheons but a terrifying vortex involving all gods and all races, where no one would be spared.

Thinking about the possible catastrophic scenes, the Goddess of Life's divine power became unstable.

No pantheon or deity wanted to be the one to rally the gods, as no one wanted this all-encompassing disaster.

"On the surface, the Dragon God System has only created a Dragon God Faction to counter the gods' blockade."

"But in reality, the Dragon God System is using the safety of all planes and worlds as a bargaining chip to pave their way to dominance."

"Every day the gods hesitate and fail to act, the Dragon God Faction grows stronger until it becomes unstoppable."

The chief deity said with piercing eyes.

"Chief deity, should we stand up?"

"If the dragon clan fully rises, we might not even be able to protect this last home, Arfan."

The Goddess of the Leaves said worriedly.

The chief deity shook his head and calmly said, "No need to rush. We are not the only ones watching the Dragon God System."

"Now that the Dragon God Faction has formed, the gods will soon respond in urgency."

"When the time comes, we will act accordingly."
