Reawakening: SSS-Rank Villain’s POV

Chapter 61: Race Beyond Earth!

"Are you done?" Lucian said with a faint smile on his lips.

The young lady's expression changed drastically.

"Impossible," she hissed, eyes widening as she tried to pull away. "Your stats—"

With a crack, her wrist instantly shattered as a bone piercing scream tore through her mouth. The daggers were forcefully unequipped as they clattered to the ground.

"Bang!"

His leg lifted up as he kicked her violently to the side. There was no remorse on his face doing this to a beautiful lady.

"You Motherfvcker!"

"You actually dare!"

"Die!"

The remaining three attacked simultaneously, their attacks incredibly well coordinated as thought they had practiced this a hundred times over.

Only they knew how many victims had fallen prey to them for them to have such well coordinated movement.

One swung a massive war hammer, another fired a runic crossbow bolt aimed at directly at Lucian's knee, while the third began chanting and incantation as mana surged like a tidal wave.

Frost blades began gathering above his fingertips as he finished his incantation.

What struck first was the mana infused arrow. The arrow expanded rapidly, reaching the size of an adult's entire arm as it moved three times the of a bullet!

"BANG!"

An explosion rang out as the bullet was forcefully halted by a hand. Lucian had actually caught the arrow mid-air.

The ground beneath Lucian's feet shattered directly as the force from the arrow was redirected from his arm to the ground.

It was unable to even push him a centimeter backward!

Then, Lucian casually sidestepped the war hammer that shattered the ground where he was previously standing.

His figure blurred as he appeared beside the spellcaster.

The man's face changed drastically and his mana surged in his body like a storm as the massive Ice blades was redirected to the side.

However, Lucian waved his hand.

"Boom!"

A magical forcefield suddenly appeared, shielding the caster but it didn't even last half a second before it shattered under Lucian's casual wave.

"Crack!"

"Boom!"

The slap sent the caster sprawling five meters backward, totally unconscious!

"Berserk!"

The hammer-wielder roared as his muscles bulged and size and height increased by more than half.

The force he released was drastic as the entire flow of the surroundings changed.

His speed and his strength increased as he swung his hammer with incredible fierceness that even the surrounding spectators scatter about.

Lucian simply smiled as the man arrived before him in a blur. The wire shrieked as the hammer flew in a blur, striking directly on Lucian's shoulder.

With a 'bang' the hammer slammed into Lucian's shoulder.

Lucian saw the notification before him and simply smiled brilliantly. He didn't have time to check how the reduction worked as he was fighting for his life but now he knew how the damage reduction was stacked against each other, reducing rapidly as they eschew his true self.

"Pathetic."

A single open-handed strike to the chest sent the man flying backward, his hammer unequiping from his hand, landing with a heavy thud several yards away.

Within thirty seconds, four of the five gang members lay screaming or unconscious on the ground. Only the leader remained, pulling himself from the wreckage of the stall, blood trickling from a cut on his forehead.

Ar this moment, a crowd of spectators had gathered to watch the spectacle with relish. Despite their astonishment, they were satisfied.

It had been long they saw the gangs suffering within the lobby and they loved it.

"Who…are you?" The leader staggered to his feet, his face grim, no longer arrogant as before.

Lucian merely adjusted his clothing, revealing a glimpse of the gleaming legendary breastplate underneath.

The crimson lifelike tattoos on his arm one shimmered with a crimson glow as they stared intently at the Leader with unbowed killing intent.

"Why should I answer someone so weak?" Lucian replied simply then he turned away, dismissing the gang leader as an unworthy threat of further attention. He could have liked them and gained lots of stat points but since there were rules about killing in the lobby area, Lucian wasn't willing to break them on his first day here.

The crowd parted before him as he walked away, their eyes wide with a mixture of fear and respect.

"Did you see that speed? He was so fast it was like he teleported…"

"Those tattoos—I've heard the those of the necromancy talent can bind their slaves to their will…"

"He's wearing legendary gear, I swear it. I can sense legendary gear when I see one!…"

"Wait a minute! That name, I swear I've seen it on the primordial record." One of the defeated gang member said as he looked intently at Lucian.

Lucian paid them no mind, allowing the noise of the crowd to fade behind him as he continued further into the heart of the city.

After nearly an hour of wandering the streets, taking in the sights and sounds of the city, Lucian found himself standing before an imposing structure.

The Celestial Rest Hotel rose twenty stories high, its exterior a mesmerizing blend of white marble and blue crystal that caught the light of the artificial day and scattered it in invigorating patterns.

Above its massive double doors, was a specially crafted design of a material that hung a sign depicting a stylized tower reaching toward a star-filled sky.

Lucian stepped through the doorway and into a lobby of breathtaking luxury. The floor was polished stone that reflected the light from mana chandeliers hanging from the vaulted ceiling.

A massive fountain dominated the center of the space, water flowing upward around a sculpture of the Galactic Tower itself, each of its hundred floors rendered in miniature perfect detail.

At the reception desk, a woman with pointed ears, marking her as one of the rare elven race from beyond the earth greeted him with a practiced smile.
