Chapter 550: New Home
There were two barriers in the valley, both of which were set up using formation flags. One barrier was still intact, with the formation flag unharmed, while the other barrier had been breached earlier.
The breached barrier did not recoagulate, and in Yang Haoran's view, it was likely due to the damage to the formation flag, which prevented the barrier from reforming. However, he was unaware of the extent of the damage to the formation flag.
Although he did not know the hidden location of the formation flag, as long as he had the formation disc for this formation, it would not be difficult to find the formation flag. The formation disc should be among Feng Yaoshi's relics.
Yang Haoran had considered collecting the damaged formation flag and trying to repair it, so that he could either use it himself or give it away or sell it. However, he ultimately decided not to do so, as he did not want to disturb Feng Yaoshi's relics, even though they were currently stored in his independent space, as they belonged to Feng Xiao.
Moreover, he just wanted to leave this place as soon as possible and did not want to linger here. After all, it was just a damaged formation flag, and if he could not or did not want to obtain it for some reason, he was not going to dwell on it.
The large fire in the valley was completely extinguished thanks to Yang Haoran's intervention, but the valley itself had been severely burned, with only charred and blackened remains visible, instead of the lush greenery that had once been there.
Feng Xiao looked at the scene with a heavy heart and a depressed mood.
"Don't worry, the next time you come back here, you'll see the familiar scenes you remember," Yang Haoran comforted.
Feng Xiao nodded, and Yang Haoran did not say anything further. He then tore open a spatial rift and left the valley with Feng Xiao.
The battle that had taken place had resulted in several casualties, including the two exorcist brothers, which was not a big deal since they were not part of any organization. However, the death of the black talisman master, who was one of the few in Qingshan City, was a significant issue. His death would undoubtedly cause a stir in the Qingshan City Fu Sect, and they would not let it go easily.
Although the black talisman master had ultimately been killed by Feng Yaoshi, Yang Haoran was also involved, and if the Fu Sect were to find out, they might come after him, which he wanted to avoid at all costs. Fortunately, his concerns did not materialize, and he successfully left the valley.
Back in Lecheng, Yang Haoran couldn't help but smile. He felt more at ease on his own turf, as he was now considered a local tycoon here.
When Yang Haoran returned to the villa, Xiu Juan was a bit puzzled to see him bringing a dirty young girl with him. However, she did not ask any questions, and Yang Haoran did not offer any explanations.
The other people were not at the villa, including Xiaokang, who had gone to school.
Yang Haoran first helped Feng Xiao choose a room in the villa and then asked Xiu Juan to help her settle in. He also handed over all of Feng Yaoshi's relics, except for the medicinal materials, to Feng Xiao.
"Go wash up, and I'll take you to another place later," Yang Haoran told Feng Xiao.
He then turned to Xiu Juan and said, "Stay here and help her. There are many things she might not know how to use."
"Yes, divine envoy!" Xiu Juan responded respectfully, not asking any unnecessary questions. ContentfirstreleasedonM_VLEM_PYR.
Seeing that Feng Xiao was a bit shy, Yang Haoran smiled at her before leaving and said, "This is all family here. You don't need to be afraid or worry. Once I've taken care of some important matters, I'll let you all get to know each other."
With these words, Feng Xiao felt more at ease.
After making the arrangements, Yang Haoran quickly returned to his own room, not to check on the medicinal materials in his independent space, but to take a shower and change into clean clothes.
The battle in the valley had not caused any harm to him or made him particularly dirty, but he still felt the need to freshen up.
Soon, Yang Haoran went to wait outside Feng Xiao's room. Xiu Juan then opened the door, and Feng Xiao came out, looking much cleaner and more presentable. Her beauty was now more apparent, though her clothes were still quite ordinary and a bit small for her.
Feng Xiao greeted Yang Haoran politely, still a bit uncomfortable in this new environment. Xiu Juan also respectfully greeted Yang Haoran.
"Xiu Juan, the room that the four of them used to stay in during the New Year period can be cleaned up now. They won't be staying here anymore," Yang Haoran said.
Xiu Juan was a bit puzzled, but she didn't ask any questions, simply nodding in acknowledgment. She understood that Yang Haoran was referring to the four-person group who had been temporarily accommodated in the villa before the new villa was completed. Now that the new villa was ready, he would be moving them there.
Even if there were any items left behind by the four, Xiu Juan would not damage or keep them for herself, but would simply hand them over to Yang Haoran, who would then give them to the group.
After giving Xiu Juan the instructions, Yang Haoran led Feng Xiao towards the newly constructed villa.
On the way, Feng Xiao couldn't help but exclaim, "Brother Yang, is this where you live? It's so big and grand!"
Yang Haoran smiled and nodded, saying, "Yes, this is where I live, but now it's also your new home. How do you like it?"
Feng Xiao nodded, though her gesture was a bit hesitant, and Yang Haoran understood that she was still getting used to the new environment.
"It's normal to feel a bit unfamiliar when you move to a new place, but that won't last long. I'm sure you'll come to like it here once you've settled in," Yang Haoran said reassuringly.
Feng Xiao nodded again, hoping that Yang Haoran's words would prove true and that she would eventually feel at home in this new place.
Upon reaching the barrier of the new villa, Yang Haoran took out the formation disc for the Mountain and Water Formation and used it to imprint a mark on Feng Xiao, just like the ones on Tang Shi and the others. This would allow her to enter the barrier surrounding the villa.
With Yang Haoran's control, the villa and its barrier did not reveal themselves, and all that could be seen was a grassy area with some other vegetation.
Feng Xiao, being a non-ordinary person and having lived in a similar restrictive barrier in the valley, understood what Yang Haoran was doing and that the reality before them was not as it appeared.
Following Yang Haoran's lead, the two of them stepped into the barrier, and their bodies disappeared from view.
Once inside the barrier, the world changed, and the new villa came into sight.
Without saying a word, Yang Haoran waved his hand, and a large quantity of medicinal materials from his independent space were brought out.
