Realm-Hopping Martial Master

Chapter 19: Going Further, Aiming at the Academy

Wang Han looked tough but felt timid inside.

The room was silent as a grave.

*Inside, everyone felt like a typhoon had hit.* No one expected that, faced with all this criticism, Jiang Shu would not step back but move forward instead, lifting the desk and tossing out all of Wang Han's books!

*Shit… this is getting out of hand.*

"Relax, I'm not going to hit you."

Jiang Shu didn't care at all what the others were thinking inside, speaking lightly to Wang Han as if it was no big deal, setting the desk back down steadily. If it weren't necessary, *he honestly didn't want to be around these kids at all.*

*That was one of the reasons he'd originally taken a break from school.*

To him, Wang Han's little tricks were honestly too childish.

*Manipulating rumors? Playing games with people's minds?*

*In the face of absolute strength,*

*all that was bullshit!*

*Fists, that's what being a man was really about.*

However, even though Jiang Shu could ignore Wang Han's petty tricks,

*that didn't mean others could.*

He glanced over at Xu Shuhui, who had gotten dragged into the mess because of him, forced onto the spot because of one stupid "crush" rumor. Jiang Shu took his eyes back, and just then, Wang Han's voice sounded out again, but his tone was nothing like it had been before.

"Jiang Shu, I've got my important senior-year notes in that desk. You… you just threw them all out. You need to apologize to me…"

"If it's really that important, if you actually care about studying, then you should go pick your own stuff out of the trash can."

"Go call the teachers, that's about all you guys ever do anyway."

Not wanting to waste more energy on it, Jiang Shu's last sentence landed like a prediction. Someone had already snuck out the back door, and within a few minutes, the sound of hurried footsteps came closer and closer to the classroom.

Yan Dehou pushed the door open, his face cold, "Jiang Shu, Wang Han, come to my office!"

Seeing Yan Dehou at the doorway, Wang Han felt his heart settle in an instant, as if he'd suddenly found himself with solid backing.

*His head cleared up.*

*Right, he was at school.*

*What was Jiang Shu gonna do, hit someone?*

*How could he dare, with so many students watching, to commit campus violence?*

Even if Jiang Shu was a Martial Arts Student, even if the fact he'd lifted the desk probably meant he had Qi Blood Sensing and could get straight into college,

*he'd still get a major demerit from the school.*

*As long as the teacher had his back, Jiang Shu couldn't do a thing.*

*Hell, he'd even owe him an apology!*

*Violence only scared people off.*

*What really ran everything was still power!*

*In here,*

*the teachers, the school leaders, they represented power!*

"Jiang Shu, come on. Let's go to the office, let Teacher Yan settle this!"

Wang Han gulped some hot water to calm his nerves and quickly strode out of the classroom.

Honestly, the stuff in Jiang Shu's desk was just some useless books and worksheets.

He could have easily just left all that behind.

*But with things as they were, if he did nothing, how would everyone in the class look at him?*

*No matter what, he had to make sure Teacher Yan stood up for him, make the school take his side, make Jiang Shu bow his head and apologize!*

Wang Han's narrow eyes squinted to a line as he walked down the hallway, organizing what he'd say in the office in advance.

Meanwhile, Jiang Shu acted like he couldn't care less, taking a step forward without hesitation, even as Xu Shuhui gave him a worried look.

*In Martial Arts, you strived for courage and progress, with a clear mind.*

*Zhao Tai tested him, he smashed him with one punch!*

*The Taekwondo coach messed with him, he grabbed him by the neck and lifted him!*

*Being this lenient with Wang Han was already him going easy because they were classmates!*

The office.

Yan Dehou sat in his chair, looking at the two students in front of him, his expression dark as deep water.

No matter what, he hadn't expected something so nasty to happen in his own class.

Throwing a classmate's books and worksheets all by the garbage can.

He almost couldn't believe it was Jiang Shu—one of the students he'd thought was doing pretty well—who had done this!

"Talk. What happened?"

"Teacher Yan, all I did was put a few of my books in Jiang Shu's desk while he was on break from school. I didn't expect that when he got back, just because of some harmless jokes, he'd, without saying a word, just pick up the desk and dump all my books and papers by the garbage can."

Noticing there were other teachers in the office, Wang Han played down the details, but the anger on his face was impossible to hide.

"And not only that, after Jiang Shu threw my stuff out, the way he looked at me, it was like he wanted to beat my ass. Teacher Yan, I know the school gives Martial Arts Students special treatment, but isn't this going too far?"

"There's no way you can treat Martial Arts Students so special that they can just get away with straight-up bullying, right?"

"Jiang Shu picked up a desk. Even if he's doing well in Martial Arts, even if he's got Qi Blood Sensing, he's still a student at our No. 5 High School. If students start hitting each other and nothing serious is done about it, what's everyone going to think about our school?"

"Situations like this have to be dealt with strictly, just to set the record straight!"

Chin up, Wang Han spoke with absolute confidence, quickly finding his groove, refusing to let up and even letting a little righteous outrage creep into his voice. He glanced at Jiang Shu, who hadn't been able to get a word in, like he had the upper hand.

*What good did it do Jiang Shu to lift a desk?*

*Was he going to do it here, lift the teacher's office desk?*

*Besides throwing books, what else could he do—hit someone?*

Yan Dehou's eyes snapped over to Jiang Shu.

But all he saw was Jiang Shu's calm face, with not even a hint of panic or guilt.

*He didn't look like anyone who just screwed up at all.*

*Wait, maybe things didn't happen the way Wang Han said?*

Having been a homeroom teacher for over a decade, Yan Dehou naturally didn't listen to just one side.

Not rushing to pass judgment, he kept his tone even and said to Wang Han, "Okay, the teacher understands. Wang Han, you can head back to the classroom. I'll talk to Jiang Shu and see what really happened. Go pick up your books and papers and pull yourself together—we have class soon."

"Yeah, yeah, Teacher Yan, you definitely have to talk to Jiang Shu. I'll head back now."

Wang Han put just a little extra force on "talk," knew when to quit, and slipped out the door. A cold breeze swept in and made the whole office feel even more tense.

The other teachers pretended to bury themselves in lesson plans, none of them saying a word.

*Big conflicts between students were just too common at school.*

As old hands, *they saw and heard new drama every single year.*

Yan Dehou looked at Jiang Shu's calm face and sighed, then said,

"Now that Wang Han's gone, can you tell me what actually happened? Jiang Shu, Teacher Yan believes you're not the kind of person who'd use your strength to bully others."

"If you two have a conflict, you can argue or just ignore each other. But lumping his books and worksheets in the trash was wrong, that's your fault."

"In a bit, you'll come with me back to the classroom and, in front of all the students, apologize to Wang Han."

"And I'll help you out, say you already admitted your mistake and were just acting on impulse before."

Yan Dehou's voice was gentle but firm,

"I know you're a Martial Arts Student now, and you can use your Martial Arts Realm to get into college. Managing to lift a desk also shows you've made some progress. But just having a little accomplishment isn't enough; you need Qi Blood Sensing to be exempt from college exams."

"So, let's downplay this, smooth things over, and not let it go up to the school administration. You don't want to get a disciplinary record over this—that could mess up job applications later. Trust me, as your teacher, I'm looking out for you."

"Thanks for caring, Teacher Yan."

Having lived one lifetime already, Jiang Shu could tell Teacher Yan really cared about him. Despite Wang Han's sneaky half-truths and misdirections, even without knowing the whole truth, Teacher Yan still tried to consider things from his side.

*Honestly, any student who gets a teacher like that during their school years is seriously lucky.*

*If he'd been an ordinary student, he could've just done as Teacher Yan said—apologized, bowed his head, and that'd be the end of it.*

*But did Jiang Shu really need to do that?*

"Teacher Yan, there's a camera in the classroom. You can watch what really happened between me and Wang Han right now."

"Also, I didn't lift the desk because people think I've got Qi Blood Sensing and can lift three hundred pounds."

"Actually… I've already achieved Qi Blood Transport."

Jiang Shu spoke quietly, but just laid his cards straight on the table—a bolt of thunder crashing in the dark.

He'd already guessed exactly what Wang Han was up to as soon as Wang Han finished talking.

Wang Han wanted to sway public opinion, to turn the whole Martial Arts Student thing against him, to pressure the school and make them take his side.

*Nice plan.*

*If he really were just an ordinary Martial Arts Student, this whole thing would basically be over already.*

*He'd get disciplined, he'd have to apologize.*

*Even if he was just a basic Qi Blood Sensing martial artist,*

*the school would worry about their reputation and push for both sides to shake hands and move on.*

*Too bad…*

*He'd already reached Qi Blood Transport.*

*Apologize? Make peace?*

*If Wang Han played fair, he'd do the same.*

*Since he didn't…*

*He'd trained, made himself strong—was he really supposed to keep being fair to someone who never was?*

*What a joke.*

Jiang Shu stood there, cold and indifferent.

All at once, every teacher in the office looked up and stared at this striking young man.

Qi Blood Transport! Horse Stance—Great Success! He'd get into a top-tier university without even taking the exam!

No one knew their own students' levels better than the teachers.

Last year, at the Ji City College Entrance Exam, out of 1,300 graduating students from No. 5 High, 634 got into regular colleges.

But only 27 made it into top-tier schools.

In other words, standing right there in front of them was already one of the elite.

And what was even more terrifying—

*He'd only been training for four months, and the kid had already jumped two minor Realms: Qi Blood Sensing and Qi Blood Transport.*

He still had three months before the college exams.

*Who could say he wouldn't go even further?*

*Aim for the very top!*
