Realm-Hopping Martial Master

Chapter 14: I Consider You as a Sister

"Before Xia Country cracks down on Martial Arts training schools, wherever you came from, that's where you better get the hell back to."

"You can't even beat a high schooler like me, and you still have the nerve to call yourself a coach?"

Jiang Shu's voice wasn't loud, but it seemed to have stirred up a storm inside everyone's hearts.

The trainees' eyes went dull, as if the idol they worshipped had suddenly collapsed.

"You!"

Coach Park's whole body trembled, and he wanted to point at Jiang Shu and curse him out.

But the lingering feeling of suffocation at his neck kept reminding him, every single moment, that this boy standing in front of him who claimed to be nothing more than a high school student... might actually be willing to kill!

*For those ten seconds or so, he truly felt like he might die here in Xia Country, right in this damn training school!*

*How could this boy who even looked a little scrawny have such explosive power?*

*Was he a Martial Artist from Xia Country?*

*Was it possible that Taekwondo from my country really wasn't as good as Xia Country's Martial Arts?*

No, impossible!

Taekwondo in my country had a century-old history, producing countless masters.

Xia Country had only made Martial Arts public last year!

*I must've let my guard down!*

*Back then, I was making a move against that little girl, and didn't pay attention to that guy, yeah, that's got to be it!*

Coach Park kept trying to convince himself.

This training school must not fall apart!

*If it did, then that junior of mine who's still secretly training abroad... he definitely wouldn't let me off!*

Just thinking of his junior made Coach Park shudder involuntarily.

His junior had started Taekwondo two years after him, but not only that, he trained in every kind of world-class fighting Skill.

He even had high-tech equipment regularly checking his body, upgrading with the most scientific methods.

He had a powerful body and lightning-fast speed. And his Power? Outright terrifying—seven or eight hundred pounds!

One punch, and he could break a punching bag wide open!

No matter how tough this boy was,

could he really beat his junior?

As long as he stabilized the trainees for a couple more months, if this boy ever dared to come back—

his junior would surely teach him a lesson!

"You, sneak attack! No Martial Arts morals! I've been running a fever for days, caught one of you Xia Country's flus! Not enough Power. If you have the guts, come back again in a couple months."

"My junior will show you what real Taekwondo is! What true Martial Arts look like! By then, if you get on your knees and apologize, promise to quit Xia Country Martial Arts, we'll be generous and allow you into Taekwondo."

Coach Park scrambled up off the ground, backing away several steps.

Only when he was seven or eight paces from the high school boy did he finally stand firm.

He made himself an excuse, then threw out a threat.

"Are people from your country always this damn confident?"

Watching the coach blustering with an empty shell, Jiang Shu felt bored out of his mind.

He didn't care who this guy's junior was supposed to be.

He sure didn't plan to come back in two or three months.

If it weren't for his sister being here, he wouldn't have set foot in this kind of training school at all.

If he had that time, he'd rather spend it standing in horse stance, reaching for full-body bloodflow circulation as soon as possible.

As for these trainees,

that one kick of his should have said everything that needed saying.

*If any of them had a brain, they'd know what their choice should be.*

Without giving the coach another glance, Jiang Shu turned around, faced Jiang Yanyue—whose face was frozen with shock—patted her on the shoulder, and said, "Why are you spacing out? Let's get out of here."

"Uh... oh."

For once, Jiang Yanyue didn't argue back; her mind was a total blank, and she followed right behind Jiang Shu, barely noticing that they'd already walked out of the Twin Towers building.

Beside her, Sang Zhirou looked even more dazed and adorable.

In those wide, clear eyes, she had seen her best friend go off on the coach, watched the coach make his move, and then watched her best friend's brother send that coach flying with a single kick.

She looked up at Jiang Yanyue's brother, her brain swept clean as if by a typhoon. Before signing up, she'd actually checked out the training school's ads and videos, and knew exactly how powerful this Coach Park was supposed to be.

If three or four people ganged up, he could take them down without breaking a sweat.

He could even chop wood blocks by hand and do flying spin kicks.

Yet this same guy got knocked flying by Jiang Yanyue's brother, who picked him up like a dangling chick.

He didn't even have a chance to fight back!

*This was what true Martial Arts in Xia Country looked like?*

"I checked out all the training schools in Ji City before. None of them really had any real skills. You're all still young—if you're looking to do horse stance, just practice on your own. Building up interest is most important. If you want to improve for real, wait a couple years at least."

"By then, I bet the government in Xia Country will step in, and these phony Martial Arts schools will get wiped out."

Jiang Shu said as they walked along.

He'd actually been to this school before, knew it originally was just a Taekwondo club.

So when he saw Jiang Yanyue's message with the address, he stopped training, and made his way over here.

"Alright, I'm heading back to train. You two find a nice place to hang out, relax a little, and if you need money, just let me know."

"Um... bro..."

Jiang Yanyue looked up. Only now did she finally start to recover, eyes swirling with doubts. She'd figured her brother was stronger than your average high school kid after three months of Martial Arts training,

maybe able to hold his own for a few rounds with that flashy Taekwondo coach.

But never like this—one kick to win, one hand to lift a grown man!

*This wasn't a movie!*

*This wasn't some staged photo!*

*This scene was happening right in front of her, raw as could be.*

*Everything about it turned her worldview upside down.*

*Grabbing a guy by the neck and lifting him—how much Power did that take?*

And as for Jiang Shu, after everything he'd done, he still sounded calm and walked away relaxed,

obviously never going all out back then!

"If there's anything you want to talk about, we'll discuss it at home. For now, just enjoy yourselves. It's important to cherish real friendship between classmates."

Like he'd thought of something, Jiang Shu said with a sigh.

Then he glanced around to check where the nearest park was, and headed off in that direction at a brisk pace.

He sped up, but in a single breath he was already over ten meters away from Jiang Yanyue and the others.

"Yanyan... your brother's really good to you."

Watching Jiang Shu's back as he left, Sang Zhirou couldn't help but speak in a tiny voice. All she'd ever heard from her best friend was complaints about her brother.

This was actually the first time she'd ever seen Jiang Yanyue's brother up close.

And, honestly, he didn't seem all that much like how Jiang Yanyue had described him.

Now, even if she closed her eyes, Jiang Shu's handsome face would pop up instantly in her mind.

His hair a little long, covering his ears.

His clothes were super simple, but his kicks were sharp and authoritative.

Every move he made radiated this steady, reassuring maturity and a feeling of total safety.

That kind of comfort—other than from her dad—

she'd never gotten from any other guy ever before.

She took a quiet breath, truly feeling how wild her heartbeat was just then.

It was racing as if she'd just finished an eight-hundred-meter run.

"Mm..."

For once, Jiang Yanyue didn't talk back. Her mind was still spinning, and she nodded absentmindedly.

"Yanyan..."

"Yeah?"

"I think... maybe I shouldn't sign up for that school after all. And... can you give me your brother's WeChat number? So when I have questions about Martial Arts, I can... I can ask him."

"It just seems like your brother is way more impressive...way more trustworthy than any of those random coaches."

Sang Zhirou's voice was barely a whisper, and her hands fidgeted, unsure where to put them; one second she wiped her sweaty palms in her pockets, the next she tugged at her shirt.

*She wanted his contact info, for Martial Arts, to ask my brother?*

Still lost in memories of the scene inside the training school, Jiang Yanyue suddenly snapped awake.

*Her always socially anxious bestie wanted to proactively add her brother on WeChat?*

*Had the sun started rising in the west?*

*Something was off! This was seriously off!*

Jiang Yanyue stared in shock at her best friend.

Right then, Sang Zhirou lowered her head shyly, and as if she knew Jiang Yanyue was watching, her face seemed to blush red as the morning sky.

Suddenly, a bold suspicion burst into Jiang Yanyue's mind.

*No way.*

*I've been treating you like a sister, and you actually want to be my sister-in-law?*

*Sang Zhirou, you've got some nerve!*
