'Since I have to fight a boss who is also a Eldritch Horror then lets put 1 in perception,1 in intelligence and 1 in wisdom.' Cale tapped the system panel 3 times.
"Now let's find the big guy and defeat him" Cale said happily while grinning.
...
Outside the fracture. police officers led the civilians to safety but everyone could hear the explosions occuring throughout the area as if doomsday had come.
But the chief officer Jang Min-seok kept an eye on the surrounding but his main focus was the fracture in which Cale had entered. the chief officer had a frowning face.
'That guy killed the monsters and entered the dark crack on his own. Heading into the unknown without any fear. wish I had that.' thought Jang Min-seok with folded arms.
A officer approached the chief officer and said "Chief, The army has announcement that they will send reinforcements"
Jang Min-Seok looked at him and said "Protect the civilian until then." firmly. 'Maybe I could get that guy in the army' thought Jang Min-Seok.
...
In the fracture Cale reached a barracks with smoking rising from it. 'This must be the boss place.' Cale said while moving towards it.
Cale stood at the edge of the barracks, his eyes scanning the area as smoke coiled through the fractured air. The structure looked hastily put together, but even in its shambled state, it exuded a strange, dark energy that made his skin crawl. This was definitely the boss's lair, and Cale felt his grip tighten around his scythe.
"I guess there's no going back now," he muttered to himself, a grin tugging at his lips despite the tension. He stepped forward, the weight of his scythe reassuring in his hands.
Without hesitation, Cale swung the massive blade at the door. The wood splintered like it had been waiting to be broken, and with a crash, the door fell inward. The instant he stepped inside, the shadows shifted, and several figures darted toward him—seven Eldritch Horrors, the tentacles coming from their mouth writhing, eyes glowing eerily in the darkened interior.
Cale’s grin widened. "You all just love making things difficult, don’t you?" he said, his voice laced with sarcasm.
The first Eldritch lunged at him, its claws aiming for his throat. Cale ducked under the attack and countered, slashing upward with his scythe. The blade cleaved through its gas-like form, cutting the creature clean in half. As the monster dissolved into nothingness, two more charged from opposite sides, tentacles reaching for him.
Cale leaped back, twisting his body as he swung the scythe in a wide arc, cutting down both creatures in one fluid motion. His eyes were sharp, calculating each move with precision. Despite the chaos, he maintained an eerie calm, his heart steady.
"Four left," he muttered under his breath as another creature lunged.
He sidestepped the attack and slammed the butt of his scythe into the creature’s face, dazing it momentarily before delivering a swift downward strike. As it dissolved into mist, two more Eldritch Horrors rushed him, their claws extended.
Cale’s eyes gleamed with adrenaline. He spun on his heel, using the momentum to slice cleanly through the remaining creatures. The final one hesitated, its eyes locked onto him as though it could sense its inevitable doom.
"Too slow," Cale said coldly before the scythe flashed through the air, decapitating the last Eldritch with a clean, effortless motion.
Panting lightly, Cale straightened up, glancing around the now empty barracks. "Well, that was anticlimactic," he muttered, brushing some dust off his shirt.
But just as he was about to let his guard down, a low, rumbling sound reverberated from the biggest hut at the far end of the barracks. Cale turned sharply, his eyes narrowing. The door to the hut creaked open, and from within emerged a tall, grotesque figure—an Eldritch Horror unlike any he had ever seen.
It stood on long, spindly legs that bent unnaturally, like a distorted version of a eldritch but more like a true horror. Its body was thin but stretched, draped in dark, shadowy tendrils. A large, pale mask in the shape of a deer’s skull covered its face, with hollow eyes that stared straight through Cale as if piercing his soul.
Cale could feel the oppressive weight of its presence pressing down on him, far more intense than anything he had faced before. His heart skipped a beat.
"So you're the boss, huh?" Cale said, raising his scythe as the creature’s long legs stepped toward him, each movement slow and deliberate, like it was sizing him up.
