Chapter 23 : Spectacle of Power
...
After fifteen days
Inside the "Fracture Restorer's Alliance," two large gates were forcefully opened from the inside. As they opened, two men stepped out. The younger-looking one (6'3), with a well-trained body, wore a dark hoodie, dark shirt, and dark pants. The other, who looked older, wore a white business suit. He was 6'7, strong-looking, with a large build.
"You should wear a proper suit, kid," Soojin said to Cale as he glanced at him.
"This is pretty proper, no?" Cale responded to Soojin with a smirk.
"...," Soojin fell silent, his face hardening as he turned away, clearly unimpressed. His irritation simmered beneath the surface, as if the mere presence of the younger man set him on edge.
"Angry? Should I beat you up like I did for the past fifteen days?" Cale looked at Soojin with a devious smirk, clearly enjoying Soojin’s discomfort.
"NO!" Soojin barked, immediately dropping into a fighting stance, fists clenched, his whole body bristling with tension.
A yellow system panel appeared in front of Cale's eyes.

Cale looked at his information, then glanced at him again. "You became much stronger than before, oldie," Cale remarked casually, looking at Soojin as if he were a fossil.
Soojin's face twitched with barely contained anger, his fists trembling as he held back the urge to lash out at Cale. But deep down, he knew there was no point—he couldn't win.
"Come on, let’s get there before they start the competition without us," Cale said, his voice light and teasing as he sauntered ahead, leaving Soojin to follow behind, still fuming.
...
At the competition site, all the contestants stood on the platform, waiting for the strongest man alive and the Fracture Restorer's Alliance Head. Spectators and viewers at home eagerly awaited their arrival.
Finally, on the top floor of the arena, where five beautifully crafted marble chairs were placed, five people appeared. The first was the strongest in Japan, a fierce-looking, silent, well-built man dressed in blue and white robes, who appeared to be around 27 years old. The announcer shouted, "The strongest of Japan, Haruto!"
Next was the strongest in China, a calm and composed man with long black hair and red and black robes. He appeared to be around 20 years old as he stepped up and took the seat next to Haruto. The announcer shouted, "The strongest of China, Wei Jun!"
Then came the strongest of England, a muscular man with yellow hair and a mocking expression on his face. Dressed in casual clothes, he looked around 25 but was only 23 years old. The announcer shouted, "The strongest of England, Arthur!"
Following him was the strongest of Russia, a woman with long dark hair and a beautiful figure. She wore a stunning black dress and took her seat with an air of attitude. She appeared to be 19 years old. The announcer shouted, "The strongest of Russia, Anastasia!"
Finally, the last to step up was none other than Soojin. He had white hair and a strong, muscular build. Though 26 years old, he still carried himself with elegance and authority. The announcer shouted, "The Fracture Restorer's Alliance Head, Soojin!"
The crowd roared in excitement, their cheers blending into a cacophony of noise as the world’s strongest figures took their seats.
The participants felt immense pressure in the presence of these formidable individuals, but their hearts raced with excitement. Yet, despite the awe, everyone had the same burning question: Where is the strongest of them all? The competition couldn't start without him, but they also couldn't keep everyone waiting for all day. He never said he would come spectate but still he should be here no? He is the one who sparked the fire in everyone's heart.
As this thought crossed everyone's mind, they felt it—a terrifying energy emanating from outside the arena. Even the strongest of each country widened their eyes in shock, except for Soojin, who sat with his arms folded, smirking. "You always find a way to draw all the attention to yourself, Cale!" Soojin thought, mentally shouting with excitement.
'Who is that?' the strongest from each nation thought in unison.
Silence fell over the arena as everyone looked in that direction. There was no noise—no traffic, no shouting, not even the faint sound of breathing.
After a second, soft footsteps echoed, not from the gateway of the arena but from above. The sound was delicate, almost like the ominous notes of a violin passing judgment on the world below.
After five or six steps, the figure stopped. A man in full black, hands in his hoodie, looked down at everyone with cold red eyes. When they saw who it was, everyone froze in terror, yet they were equally awed by his presence and power. Cheers erupted from the crowd as people watching from behind their screens screamed in their homes.
"CALE! ROTH!" the announcer shouted at the top of his lungs.
The strongest of each nation exclaimed, "That's Cale?" in unison.
Soojin smiled and calmly replied, "...Yeah."
