He was sitting inside a car, holding a black tablet in his left hand with a cold expression.
The tablet displayed information in blue.
Information (Info):
Name: Chief Fire Lizard
Level: 21
Rank: D++-Rank
Species: Fire Lizard
Description: Born in hot atmospheres, highly aggressive, attacks with fire
Weakness: Water, cold
Fracture Difficulty: D-Rank
Cale seemed uninterested in the Chief Fire Lizard as he thought, 'Would I really need a team?... Well, it's better to be prepared for higher fractures.' Cale closed his eyes. 'I should probably make Minho the leader of the team. That way, I can leave for higher fractures.' Then he frowned. 'But he's 14, approaching 15. Mother will kill me if something happens to him'. He folded his arms and looked up.
'But now that the world has changed, he needs to be stronger,' Cale thought. 'I can't go easy on him. He needs to learn and grow on his own.' Cale opened his eyes as the car stopped.
As soon as the car door opened, a bodyguard stepped out, followed by Cale. Hundreds of camera flashes bombarded his eyes. He walked past them, ignoring the reporters, and as he looked ahead, he saw a blue fracture. The area around the fracture was sealed off as bodyguards stood to keep people away.
Cale ignored the reporters' questions and went straight to the fracture until he stood face to face with it.

Description: Goblin Fracture.]
As Cale read the description, he heard shouting behind him. He looked back and saw his little brother, Minho, approaching.
"There you are," Cale whispered with a smile.
Minho stood face to face with Cale, who had folded his arms.
"Come on," Cale said to Minho.
Both of them entered the fracture. Inside, there were large trees and rocks. Minho and Cale walked side by side. Minho was the first to speak.
"Big Brother, will this sword be enough for me to defeat this fracture?" Minho was visibly unsure of his own strength.
Cale glanced at him from the corner of his eye, then looked ahead and said, "I only had the arcane blade the first time I fought, and now you have it..."
"But if you can't defeat this fracture with the same equipment, and it's just a goblin fracture, then I won't let you become a 'Creature Hunter.' You hear me?" Even though Cale's words were harsh, Minho understood that what Cale was saying was true.
He had seen Cale's power with his own eyes—killing D-Rank creatures as if they were nothing. If there was anyone who could teach him, or anyone, how to be a 'True Creature Hunter,' it was undoubtedly 'The Dark Scythe Wielder'—his own big brother.
"I won't help you in this fracture. If you die, YOU DIE!" Cale said coldly.
"I understand," Minho whispered in a low tone.
Cale suddenly said, "Here’s your first test. Kill that goblin. After that, you're on your own."
Cale spoke coldly as he jumped up onto a large tree.
Minho gripped the arcane blade tighter, his hands trembling slightly. The goblin Cale pointed out was small, about half the size of a human, but its sharp claws and crude stone club made it dangerous in its own right. The goblin was unaware of the two brothers, wandering aimlessly around a tree, sniffing the air for prey.
Minho swallowed hard, his heart pounding in his chest. He glanced up at Cale, perched calmly in the tree above, his expression unreadable. There was no help coming—he was truly on his own.
"Kill it," Cale's voice echoed in his mind, cold and unyielding.
Minho took a deep breath, recalling the few lessons Cale had taught him. ‘Focus, anticipate its movements, and don’t hesitate.’
With his feet planted firmly on the ground, Minho stepped forward quietly, his grip steadying on the arcane blade. As the goblin turned, it locked eyes with him, screeching and charging forward, its club raised high.
Minho froze for a split second, but his body moved instinctively. He dodged to the side as the goblin's club swung down, missing him by inches. He slashed at the goblin's side with the arcane blade, feeling the resistance as the blade cut through its skin. The goblin shrieked in pain but recovered quickly, its sharp claws swiping at Minho’s legs.
Minho jumped back, breathing heavily, his mind racing. 'Don’t get reckless. One wrong move and you’re dead.'
The goblin rushed at him again, this time more ferocious than before. Minho sidestepped the attack, spinning around and slashing at the creature’s neck. The goblin collapsed with a thud, its body twitching before going still.
Minho stood over the corpse, panting heavily, blood dripping from the blade. He wiped the sweat from his forehead, his heart still racing. The thrill of victory coursed through him, but it was quickly overshadowed by the grim reality of the situation.
"You passed... barely," Cale’s voice came from above. Minho looked up to see his brother casually jumping down from the tree, landing silently beside him. "But that was just one goblin. You’ve got a whole fracture full of them ahead of you."
Minho nodded, his determination firm. "I’ll handle it."
Cale smirked, his crimson eyes gleaming. "Good. Remember, if you die... you die. No second chances."
Without another word, Cale turned his back and began walking deeper into the fracture, leaving Minho to face the rest of the goblins alone.
Minho tightened his grip on the sword, his fear replaced by a newfound resolve. He wasn’t just doing this to prove himself to Cale—he was doing this to survive in a world where only the strong could thrive.
