Chapter 12: Chapter 12 : The dream of a Pirate Crew
"Hancock," Alex began, his voice steady but brimming with purpose. "I've been thinking a lot about my future in this world. About what I want to accomplish."
She turned toward him, her eyes lighting up. "Anything you desire, Alex, is already yours. Say the word, and I will do my best to fulfill it for you."
A small smile played on his lips. "You're the best, Hancock. That's why I chose you as my vice-captain. I want to create a crew of my own."
He straightened, turning to face her fully. "I want a crew, Hancock. Not just any crew a pirate crew unlike any other in the world. A crew made up of the most beautiful, powerful women from every corner of the seas."
Hancock's eyes widened, her lips parting in surprise. For a moment, she said nothing, processing his words.
Then her expression softened into something almost teasing. "A crew of beautiful women, you say? How ambitious. But who could ever compare to me?" She raised her chin proudly, exuding confidence.
Alex chuckled. "No one could, Hancock. You're one of a kind. But that does not mean I can't have others as well."
The Pirate Empress stepped closer, her gaze intense. "If that is your dream, Alex, then I will help you achieve it. You'll need a ship. Take mine the Kuja Pirates' flagship. It's the finest vessel on the Grand Line."
Alex shook his head firmly, a confident smile on his face. "I appreciate the offer, Hancock. But I'm going to lead a legendary crew, we need a ship that's as extraordinary as the crew itself. A ship that represents me and my ambitions."
She blinked, surprised by his refusal. "What kind of ship could surpass mine?"
Alex stepped back and spread his arms wide, his voice filled with determination. "A ship created by me. One shaped by my own hands and powers a vessel never before seen in this world."
Hancock's eyes gleamed with excitement as she clasped her hands together. "As expected of you, Alex. Your ambitions know no bounds."
He smiled, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "With you by my side, Hancock, I'll make it a reality. A ship that will strike awe into anyone who sees it, carrying a crew that will make the world tremble."
Hancock's cheeks flushed at his touch, her resolve firm. "Then I will stand with you as you shape your dream. Tell me what you need, and I'll ensure it is done."
Alex nodded, his mind already racing with ideas. "For now, I'll focus on creating the ship. After that, we'll set sail to gather the crew. One by one, I'll bring them together."
Hancock smiled warmly, her voice soft but firm. "Whatever you desire, Alex. The seas will bow to your will."
The Kuja Pirates' ship, a massive galleon adorned with serpent motifs, rocked gently in the waters of Amazon Lily's harbor.
Its sleek design, reinforced by years of Kuja craftsmanship, already made it one of the most formidable ships on the Grand Line. But Alex had other plans for it.
Standing at the bow of the ship, Alex let his gaze sweep over its polished wood, golden accents, and towering sails.
Boa Hancock stood beside him, watching his every move with a mix of curiosity and pride.
Alex turned to her with a smirk. "Your ship is impressive, but it's not enough for what I have in mind. I'm going to use it as the foundation to create something truly extraordinary."
Hancock raised an elegant eyebrow, intrigued. "Extraordinary? More so than this?"
"You'll see," Alex replied confidently. He closed his eyes, focusing on the ship beneath him.
His powers thrummed to life, an invisible force emanating from his body.
The air around them grew heavy, charged with an unnatural energy that even Hancock could feel.
The transformation began.
First, the wood of the ship shimmered, glowing faintly as it morphed into a new material a deep, obsidian-like substance that seemed to absorb the sunlight.
It was unyielding yet smooth to the touch, exuding an aura of invincibility.
The sails grew larger, their fabric shifting into something that looked like woven light, capable of catching even the faintest breeze or cutting through the fiercest storm.
Golden serpents carved into the hull came alive, their eyes glowing with an ethereal light as they coiled protectively around the ship.
The deck expanded, adorned with intricate patterns that seemed to pulse with power.
Cannons emerged along the sides, sleek and polished, their barrels humming with energy that hinted at devastating potential.
Hancock watched, her usual composure faltering as awe overtook her expression. "Alex... what are you doing to it?"
He opened his eyes, his smirk widening. "I'm making it unstoppable. Nothing will harm this ship no cannon, no storm, no sea king. It will sail through anything."
To prove his point, Alex raised his hand, willing a cannonball to appear midair.
With a flick of his wrist, it hurtled toward the ship. The projectile struck the hull, only to disintegrate into harmless particles upon impact, leaving not even a scratch behind.
Hancock's eyes widened. "It's... invincible."
"Not just invincible," Alex said, his voice filled with pride. "It's also alive."
As if in response, the ship groaned softly, the serpents along the hull shifting slightly, their glowing eyes surveying the waters around them.
"It will obey my will and protect those I choose," Alex continued.
"It's faster, stronger, and smarter than any vessel on the seas. A ship worthy of the crew I'm building."
Hancock's awe turned to admiration as she turned to Alex, her voice soft but filled with conviction.
"You truly are extraordinary, Alex. With this ship, no one in the world can stand against you."
"It's perfect," Alex said, nodding in satisfaction. "Now we're ready to sail. Next, we gather the crew."
Hancock placed a hand over her heart, bowing slightly. "Wherever you go, Alex, I will follow."
The newly transformed ship shimmered under the sunlight, its presence commanding the harbor.
The era of Alex's crew was about to begin, and the seas would never be the same.
