RE: Perverted Sugar Daddy System

Chapter 263: The Supernatural

"Is it wise for us to keep this place running?" I asked, looking at the only diner I owned.

"While it's nothing to write home about in terms of your assets, it makes a decent profit and also gives you a presence."

"A presence?" I looked around the area. "I'd be surprised if 90% of the people around here didn't know its name."

"That has to do with your recent takeover. Give it time and you'll become a household name."

For my outing today, Nadia had come to pick me up in a black S-Class Mercedes. At the moment, she sat in the front while I sat in the back.

Just as she'd mentioned before, she wouldn't be hiring any driver, as following Denise's advice, she would be shouldering the responsibility herself.

For me, this was a shame. I had been looking forward to having a go with the military lady.

The thought of missing out on the female doctor as my driver also hurt, but I took solace in the fact that this arrangement gave me more time with Nadia.

I hadn't had time to make any moves on the woman, but there was no way she'd be this close to me and not end up on my list.

At the moment, we were waiting for Martha to wrap up whatever she was doing inside. Looking at the diner, I decided to kill a bird.

"How about we make it a household name now?"

"What do you mean?" Nadia turned to me.

"The diner, the profit it generates can't do anything for me. So how about every Saturday we offer free food to the homeless and hungry?"

Nadia was stunned by this, the woman silent for some seconds before speaking.

"Sure, but that would cut a lot into your profit. Mrs. Harther mentioned there are a lot of big projects coming up and that we'd have to be tight with money."

"I'm a billionaire with people like you under me. Surely I earn enough for this not to be an issue."

"It's possible to make it not an issue. But if you don't want this cutting into already dedicated business funds, your monthly allowance will have to be used."

"I have a personal allowance?" My eyes widened.

"Ehm… yes," Nadia was slightly embarrassed. "I was supposed to tell you this more than two weeks ago, but with your disappearance, I missed the chance.

Also, you've never come to me for finances, so I wasn't reminded."

"I see."

With my trades, I earned enough money not to need to dip a hand into the profits I got from being a shareholder with Fiord Motors.

"It's okay. You can make the cut, and if it's possible, extend the charity to Sunday."

"I'll see about that," Nadia muttered, pulling out a small notebook and jotting that down.

"Any reason for this sudden interest in charity?" my PA asked, looking at me through the rearview mirror.

"Someone told me to give back to the community, and though I don't really see what I've taken, I see no reason not to put smiles on people's faces.

If not for anything else, it should increase my karma points."

"Okay…" Nadia squinted at me.

"What are you looking for?"

"Just making sure you're not a clone," Nadia muttered, and my lips curled at that.

"It took you this long to let out your nerdy tendencies?" I teased, but rather than blush, Nadia's face stiffened, her expression scrunching like she'd just tasted the most bitter medicine.

"I'm just teasing you, honey. Put on a smile, or I'll have you sit on my thighs till Martha gets here."

For some people, you could only ever blackmail them into action, even when it concerned things that benefited them and as Nadia's expression relaxed, hesitantly, I decided to touch on one of the things that had made her my PA.

"So far, what supernatural things have you observed around me?"

The question took Nadia by surprise, but I could see she understood where this was going as she adjusted her posture and focused on me.

"Our interactions haven't been too close for me to pick up on anything deep, sir, but what I can strongly speculate on is your relationship with Isabella, Sophie, Martha, and Valera.

You've also begun winning Sade's heart despite her being aware of your promiscuity, and I find that and all the others to be very abnormal."

"Is that all?"

"Yes, sir."

"Have you ever been exposed to the supernatural?"

"No, sir."

"Do you think you have ever been exposed to it?"

"No, sir."

"Then what makes you think it exists?"

"My mentor, Mrs. Harther, told me about it. She's shared stories."

"She didn't tell you anything about aura? Its connection with the supernatural?"

Nadia shook her head and I could only sigh, deciding not to try decoding the woman's reasons.

"Here." I threw a gun at Nadia. The woman scrambled to catch it, and when she finally saw what it was, she hurriedly brought it down, looking outside the car like someone could've seen it.

"Where is this from?"

"Where is what?" I raised a brow.

"This." Nadia lifted her empty hand.

Sure of what she'd seen, the woman began quietly searching around her, thinking she had dropped the gun. But I drew her attention.

"Are you looking for this?" I raised my right hand—a pistol appearing in it.

Before Nadia could utter a word, I raised my left hand.

"Or this?"

My PA immediately went silent, her eyes darting back and forth between the two guns in my hands.

Then I brought them down just as there was a knock on the door.

In that split second where Nadia was distracted, I made the guns disappear, opening the door and stepping out to meet Martha.

"You know you could just open it, right?" I walked to the other side.

"I'm giving you the chance to be a gentleman."

"Ahh, how unappreciative of me." I bowed as I opened the door for her.

Getting back into the car, I held back a laugh at Nadia's flustered expression and focused on Martha.

"Nadia, let's go," I said as I pulled Martha in for a kiss.
