Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 275: The Infinite Shelf, And The Procrastinating Wizard

"Hmm..."

The benefits of having a shop here seemed immense, but at least in the current moment, he wasn't sure what he could sell.

But once he thought about it further, he realized something.

What isn't there that I can't sell...? Rael thought, his eyes widening.

If he took the commission money first, then bought the item for the customer by charging slightly extra, he could become rich in no time.

Fuck... Rael's grin widened. This is too good to pass up... 50 billion though? Come on...

But he didn't even wait for a second opinion as he pressed "Yes."

<Ding!>

<You've spent 50 Billion Trell to acquire: Pocket Dimension (Small)>

<You've been granted a key!>

With the last of the pop-ups, a sign appeared in his hands.

It was the same size as the other signs he'd seen, except this one was empty.

<Choose your Shop's name!>

<...>

"Zafira...?" Rael turned to the side. "If you could open a shop and sell everything in the universe, what would you name it?"

She glanced down at the sign in his hands.

"Did you buy a shop?"

"Maybe...?"

Zafira let out a sigh.

"Okay... since you really did buy it, how about something along the lines of: The Infinite Shelf?"

She tilted her head. "That sounds pretty cool, right?"

"Uhh..." Rael trailed off. "It's a bit corny, but it doesn't sound that bad..."

He was honestly expecting her to come up with the single most diabolical name ever, but to his surprise, it was actually good.

Really good.

Without wasting a moment, he named it.

<Ding!>

<Shop name has been chosen!>

<The Infinite Shelf>

<Choose your shop's category...>

It displayed hundreds of types, whether they were weapon shops, potion shops, or even simple pubs.

But even after looking through everything, he couldn't find what he was looking for, so in the end, he decided to simply leave it blank.

<Shop category has been chosen!>

<None>

With that, the sign glowed, and in the very next moment, a blue portal appeared in front of them.

The two exchanged a glance and stepped through the portal.

A moment later, they reappeared in a completely empty room with windows that appeared to show nothing beyond them.

As for the size itself, it seemed like a simple 10-by-10-meter room.

It wasn't dusty, thankfully, but still...

"This is... yeah... I need to make some renovations," Rael muttered with a click of his tongue and opened the premium shop.

•—Premium Shop—•

Category: Renovation/Instant/Room Upgrade

•—Balance: 47,733,473,663 Trell—•

• Quick Room Makeover Kit (Uncommon): 35,000 Trell

It was pretty cheap, so Rael bought it.

A small ball appeared in his palm, which he swiftly threw to the ground.

In an instant, the room was painted in a completely black color, and even a few office desks appeared, a couple of chairs, a bed, and some more.

Rael sighed as he removed most of the unnecessary items, keeping only a single office table and two chairs.

And with that, the renovations were complete.

He looked at his creation proudly, but Zafira didn't seem to share the same sentiment.

"So... what happens when it's night time in this place?"

He bought a chandelier.

"The air is pretty dry, get something to..."

He bought a humidifier.

Zafira kept listing things until the empty room was no longer quite so empty.

There were beautiful flower pots everywhere, the air smelled nice, and there was even a small lounge for people to wait in line.

She puffed out her chest in satisfaction.

"Now it's actually looking like a cozy shop where you can sell everything. But now what?"

"Good question." Rael turned back to the door behind him and walked through.

Zafira soon followed.

They reappeared in the lounge, and Rael once again held the sign.

He wasn't sure how to proceed, but that was when a convenient pop-up appeared.

<Do you wish to put your shop up for business? Yes / No>

<Your shop will be put into the [New Shops] bracket and will remain there for 31 days.>

<Once you open your shop, you may access it through your system.>

<Notice: If a customer appears while you are not there, you will automatically be notified.>

Rael hummed in satisfaction and pressed "Yes" once again.

For the last time, his sign glowed, followed by a pop-up.

<No shop category detected! Describe your shop.>

<...>

Rael thought about it for a moment, then wrote some random stuff in.

<Selling everything and anything in existence.>

And with that, the sign disappeared from his hands.

In the next moment, he saw the sign appear at the far end of the room where very few people were gathered.

—The Infinite Shelf. Selling everything and anything in existence.

No one approached it, so Rael simply heaved a sigh and proceeded toward one sign in particular.

—The Procrastinating Wizard's Potion Shop.

Rael approached it alongside Zafira, but just as he was about to place his hand on it, he halted, turning toward her.

"Say... the reason you were so curious about that soul, was it because you have a skill that can use it?" Rael asked.

She looked around, then slowly nodded.

"I have a skill that consumes ego, and the sub-category is the soul. So yes... I'm pretty sure I can use it. If you don't mind, of course."

"Nah, have at it." Rael swiftly handed her the soul, and she tucked it into her pocket.

He could use his Absolute Architect skill to craft souls, but he felt like he'd get an achievement if he used an actual soul to craft first.

So for the sake of getting something good, he wanted to craft only when he got a Legendary-rarity soul or higher.

Even so, he took a deep breath and placed his hand on the sign, then stepped through the portal.

Immediately, they reappeared in another shop, and this time, it was far more plain.

It was a giant shop, and it had several potion aisles, with each representing a different potion category.

Yet the person Rael was looking for sat behind the counter.

Or rather... he was sleeping.

So that's the guy, huh? Rael mused.

But deep down, he didn't come here purely out of interest in the many items he saw.

Instead, it was because of another matter altogether.

Back when he was traveling through the Depths, he had visited the abandoned magic tower.

And as it so happened...

It belonged to none other than the Procrastinating Wizard.
