Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

A month passed by in the blink of an eye.

The Regalons arrived on the 50th floor while breaking all records, defeating the strongest familias on each floor and participating in every moderately big event to power up, increasing their Trinity Force and gaining God Essence.

By now, the average Trinity Force of the Regalons was 10,000.

Almond's and Lily's Trinity Force reached 15k and 17k, respectively.

The total God Essence Regalons gathered so far were 783 million. Still a very long way before they hit 2.2 trillion, but they were getting a higher amount of God Essence from every source, the higher they climbed the floors.

The Regalons in the lower floors, numbered in tens of thousands, were also slowly climbing up, led by the former God Council members of the Achromatic familia.

During this month, Almond and Lily had also finished developing the third Talent of Regalons—Starry Spirit Network, allowing all Regalons from all floors to enter a spiritual realm where they could enter physically, as well as only-consciousness, to communicate and teleport.

Teleporting to floors that they hadn't cleared wasn't possible since it was automatically blocked by Grimworld, but teleporting to another person's side on the same floor was possible, and instantly so.

The cost was merely god energy, but the longer the distance, the more god energy was required.

Meanwhile, after arriving on the 50th floor, the army of 1.6k Regalons rested on their personal estate that was already built by Krala and others, and stored in Almond's Spirit Realm.

Since new buildings were not allowed to be built on the city unless the person/familia paid for the property to Grimworld, the estate floated outside of the city, a kilometer away.

Naturally, they were looking for which familia to target while resting.

However, ten minutes after they arrived on the 50th floor, several of the strongest Regalons immediately felt something off.

A moment later, a powerful blast came zooming at their estate.

But before it could strike the estate, a barrier flickered into existence, causing the whole estate to be enveloped in a different spatial layer, making it ethereal.

The blast simply passed through it.

The estate vanished as the army of 1.6k Regalons floated up, looking in the direction from which the attack came.

In front of them was a large tear in space with thousands of volatile auras.

And right after that announcement, another announcement rang, not from the Grimworld.

A kilometer away from the space tear that appeared, which poured out the Hollowstar forces, there were 500,000 powerhouses floating, belonging to four different familias that were from the 15th to 20th floor, and were enemies of the Roxenvale familias.

[ Godless people and all familias of this floor! Do not interfere unless you are attacked by Hollowstar's forces. If you interfere, know that we will annihilate your familias. ]

As the announcement rang from one of the leaders of the big army, the people of the army had their auras surging as Almond, Lily, and others could see them chugging pills and drinking vials.

"It looks like we are under attack."

"Very well." Almond nodded at Admiral Rudra. "Let's deal with them fast. I don't want to waste time."

Admiral Rudra stepped forward as he adorned his Regalon Armament. "Regalons!"

"Form your divisions and activate Mass Destruction Formation."

Instantly, the 1.6k Regalons were split into a hundred teams.

Each one activated Eyes of Truth and Ruined Achromatic Scales—Black Scales.

Right at this moment, the people of the Roxenvale familia also arrived to help as they appeared in the center of the city, at the tower.

They saw the huge army and the crazy Griminions of Hollowstar.

"So they did use Hollowstar's invasion for this. Fucking Nether Grasp helped them do it." The chief of the Roxenvale familia muttered, a frown forming on his face.

"Yes, Chief. Since they sensed them coming, they redirected their spatial tear here."

The army he was seeing was too big, and adding the Hollowstar's forces in the mix, the 300,000 people he brought were not enough.

Streaming devices from various organizations were already here and had started streaming everything.

But as soon as Regalons formed the division and activated their Eyes of Truth and Black Scales, they vanished from their spot.

Almond teleported everyone right in the middle of the army of Griminions.

At first, those 500,000 people of four familia wanted Regalons to deal with Hollowstar while they just released long-range attacks.

But before the Griminions and five exotic powerhouses of Hollowstar could reach Regalons, Regalons appeared amidst them, dumbfounding everyone.

Black Scales deauthorized everything, so nothing stopped them from entering among them.

And right after that, all Regalons activated Gray Scales.

Gray Scales allowed Regalons to switch position with another Regalon who had Gray scales, and all attacks striking them would disperse 50% of the energy away, so that was basically 50% reduced damage.

But that was not the plan.

In the next instance, all Regalons broke their Gray Scales—as breaking the gray scales results in a 10-second transformation where the Regalons can absorb all energies affecting and hitting them and then release them after ten seconds while getting healed completely, including regenerating the scales.

Naturally, if a Regalon exceeded the energy threshold when absorbing the attack, the destructive sequence wouldn't activate.

But with 1.6k Regalons in 100 teams taking position amid the forces of Hollowstar at a perfect position, transported by Almond, that didn't happen.

All Griminions attacked wildly since they were driven by a destructive impulse.

As for the four special enemies of the hollowstar, Almond, Lily, Admiral Rudra, and Spirit Lords, took care of them swiftly by going all out.

"What are they doing?!"

"The majority of the Regalons are just strenghening themseleves and not attacking anyone."

The people of the 500,000 army were confused, and so were the other people watching.

But as seconds passed, the Regalons vanished again.

Almond teleported everyone right on the 9th second after destroying Gray Scales, and absorbing attacks of tens of thousands of Griminions.

Naturally, he teleported everyone amidst the army of 500,000 while Lily used Achromatic Domain—Black to envelop all enemies to prevent them from using any powers.

The enemies were startled, but then the 10th second happened.

All 1.6k Regalons unleashed a pulse of pure destructiveness, consisting of energy that they had absorbed.

An explosion shook the surrounding ground, and space occurred as a black sphere covered everything in the area where the army stood.

Nobody could see anything for two whole seconds.

And on the third second, Lily's Achromatic Domain vanished.

In the whole area where the 500,000 people previously were floating…vanished.

Only the 1.6k Regalons remained, as well as the Griminions of Hollowstar, who started spreading chaotically now to attack everyone in sight.

Naturally, they headed towards Regalons since they were the nearest.

But Regalons were unafraid.

Everyone activated White Scales and destroyed them.

Breaking white scales results in a complete wipeout of all non-living things within distance, depending on the user's Trinity Force, and then results in the creation of Colorful Scales, which significantly increase the user's physical parameters, and grant high physical defense and magic defense.

So even if there were a lot of Griminions, the Regalons fought them skillfully and overpowered them, wiping out all of them.

Naturally, the forces of Roxenvale swiftly joined the battle to help them, even though there didn't appear to be a need for it.

One must know that these Griminions that appeared on the third layer were very powerful. Way more powerful than those that appear on the second layer.

Their attacks had an easier time breaking the energies of people here, so they were in trouble.

Most importantly, the Hollowstar forces that appear on the third layer damage the Grimworld Tree directly each time they kill a person via the connection that Grimworld has with every soul born here.

That was why Grimworld always announced its invasion as an emergency.
