Chapter 471: Arrival
"Very well, Chief Regalon."
Kedarran smiled as he stretched his arm towards Almond.
'Such a potential should not be wasted.'
After getting attacked by Almond in a way that left him utterly helpless that one of his better artifacts had to activate to save him spoke volumes of the quality and potential of the power he just witnessed.
"For our bright future together, I shall sign the alliance contract you have prepared without adding anything more as there is no need."
Seeing the Chief God of Roxenvale familia giving in, Regalon Familia's name and Almond's name began spreading as billions were watching the livestreams across all 100 floors.
"That's a good decision, Chief Kedarran." Almond nodded with a smile as he waved his hand, giving a new contract to Kedarran since the previous one was destroyed when he attacked.
Kedarran signed it, and then Almond also signed it before the contract vanished.
The alliance terms in Almond's contract were lax, but it also maintained complete fairness between both parties.
And if there were any decisions to be made that involved both parties, there would be a meeting.
"Well then, climb up until you slow down. I'll have my first suggestion ready by then, and then we'll hold the first meeting of our alliance."
"Alright," Almond said with a nod.
…
After he was done, Almond challenged the 99th Floor's boss and completed it with all existing records broken, and again one shot killed the boss.
Though Lily also held a one-shot record on this floor, so he just replaced her.
Just like this, Almond reached the 95th floor, and all Regalons received 600 to 1000 Trinity Force total because of breaking records!
On the 95th floor, there was a big event where 100 people of each familia could participate.
The event was Conquest of Ten Mountains where each familia had a base around one mountain, and a total of ten familia could participate in it.
The reward would only be given to a single winner and it was grand.
Almond entered with 89 Regalons and summoned his Spirit Lords to make the total count reach 100.
Naturally, there was no suspense in this event as Almond and his army warred against others and conquered all ten mountains by defeating others before the Event Time of 1 hour was even over.
The reward of this event was 100 fixed Trinity Force and 5000 personal God Essence to all familia members, plus 20,000 God Essence in the deity familia's trove.
After the event, Almond entered the floor boss challenge, broke records, and continued.
Time passed as seconds turned into minutes, and minutes into hours.
Twenty hours later, Almond and the other Regalons arrived on the 80th floor.
The difficulty on this floor increased by a rather larger margin in the sense that all Monsters in the wilderness, events, and challenges were by default twice as strong in terms of toughness and vitality than average powerhouses with 2500 Trinity Force, which was the ceiling of the 80th floor, meaning that at least in terms of toughness and vitality, the monsters had 5000 Trinity Force.
The main way to bridge this gap and overpower other monsters on this floor and above floors was very simple — opening the 4th Geno Gate.
Opening the 4th Geno Gate would allow for an individual to benefit from 10 Divine Blessings!
The power of the extra five Divine Blessings, which were activated with/without cost depending on their effects and how they were designed, was major!
Even if the Divine Blessings had cooldowns, and so on, they were still a strong arsenal of a familia, and having ten made a difference in heaven and earth.
And so, after arriving on the 80th floor, the first thing Almond and others did was open the 4th Geno Gate.
Almond also created more Divine Blessings, and this time, Big D, Admiral Rudra, Kexell, and others of the God Council also created the blessings.
Almost passed by on the 80th floor alone to properly power up.
A total of thirty-two Blessings were available now, and Regalons could keep any ten they desired in their arsenal.
Everyone could also change them again, but only after twenty-four hours since the last change in the set.
Because of breaking records, all Regalons were powering up as well, but in different values since most Trinity Force rewards were 10 to 100 Trinity Force, and not everyone was Natalia, who acquired full value in all randomized rewards, making everyone envious.
Almond was still strongest, but Natalia was right behind in terms of Trinity Force.
"Alright, we've had enough rest," Natalia said as her voice resounded everywhere. "Get y'all ass up. Only five floors left before Romeo meets Juliet."
…
As Almond began the 80th-floor boss challenge, Lily also returned from her long hunt for Elite Boss and other events or challenges.
Naturally, she was also watching the stream and knew Almond was closing in.
After returning, she stayed in the familia's territory, watching Almond and waiting like other ruined Achromatic familia.
The entire Achromatic familia was abuzz about the Regalons, with whom they were allied and would soon unite under a single familia.
"And he cleared the 77th floor!"
"Fuck, one more to go and he'll be here!"
"Once we unite, we'll be able to design those cool armors and weapons like Regalons, right? Can't wait!"
"We are going to get so high up this time…"
"Now I know why Chief Goddess stopped ascending…once she and Chief Almond are together, it's going to be a nightmare for everyone who tries to fuck with us."
"At least, until we reach the 30th floor, we'll be unstoppable."
"Yeah, things will get intense and slow after the 30th I heard, but I don't know in detail."
The people of Achromatic familia were gathered in the plaza as they were eating, drinking, and watching the livestream.
Usually, live streaming while doing the floor boss challenge wasn't allowed unless the challengers consented, and Almond had no issues. He also wanted Lily to see him coming up.
Finally, he cleared the 76th floor and arrived on the 75th floor.
It was time for unification as the third layer would find out the shocking news of the merge of the newly rising Regalon familia and the recently rising Achromatic familia that once had a Chief as one of the seven thrones.
