Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

After getting Almond's new orders, the groups of Regalons only participated in their first events or challenges for experience and didn't do it again.

The average power level of Regalons was high, so they could already win against the average powerhouses on this floor.

And since this was the weakest floor, they had no business wasting time here for long.

Two hours later, all the Regalons had gathered at the center of the floor, in the largest city on the 100th floor.

"Who are these people?"

"Looks like humans, but they have that third eye symbol on the forehead."

"Regalons?!"

"Holy shit, they are already here?!"

"Who are they?"

As the entourage of Regalons followed Almond towards the giant mystic tower in the center for the Floor Boss challenge, the people in the surroundings watched them as those who watched the stream recognized them.

Almond and others arrived and entered through the large door of the tower that only showed slow-moving darkness.

But once they entered through the door, they arrived in a huge hall with a big hologram screen before them.

[ Welcome, Regalon Familia, to the Floor Boss challenge of the 100th floor ]

[ You may challenge a floor boss as many times as you want, but once you ascend to the higher floor, you shall never rewrite your last record of the cleared floor. ]

[ If you have exceeded Trinity Force of 1000 while being here, your Trinity Force will be capped at 1000 during the floor boss challenge. ]

[ Are you ready to challenge the floor boss and rewrite the previous top records? If you are, select the difficulty of the 100th-floor boss challenge. ]

At the very end were three difficulties.

[ Easy ]: 1 to 10 people can participate.

[ Mid ]: 1 to 50 people can participate.

[ Hell ]: 1 to 100 people can participate.

Note: The lower the number of people, the better the rewards for the familia if you break any records.

"That girl Lily has all the records to her, haha."

"I bet all the floors until the 75th floor has her records."

"Well, Boss Almond will break 'em."

Admiral Rudra turned to Almond. "So you're going alone?"

Almond had a smile on his face as he read Lily's records. Hearing Admiral Rudra, he nodded. "Yeah, I am going alone."

Without wasting a second more, Almond selected the Hell difficulty.

A portal opened up before the group in a gate-shape with a fancy orange blazing theme paired with floating blue skulls with their eyes lighting with white-blue flame wisps.

[ You have one minute to enter the Floor Boss challenge zone. The number of entrants can be anywhere from 1 to 100. ]

Almond closed his eyes and began reviewing himself and his arsenal of powers, including the Divine Blessings.

Since Trinity Force would be suppressed to 1000, there was no way he would be able to one-shot it right off the bat as the Floor Boss must have toughness.

Lily took 14 seconds, after all. He didn't know how much God energy Lily could control at once to execute a single attack that netted her that Highest Single Instance Damage record, but he could control 70k God Energy in a single instance by now.

Almond knew he would have to break the record to get the rewards as Lily had told him the Floor Boss rewards could empower the entire familia significantly if they break the records.

His brain was storming with open possibilities that his arsenal of powers presented, and his status as an Overrider that not many could receive meant he didn't lack in reactive creativity, as creating proper Trinity Techniques on the spot was a specialty of the likes of him, Lily, Big D, Kexell, and Admiral Rudra.

Time passed and when only one second was left until the countdown hit zero, Almond vanished as he entered the gate.

A second later, the giant screen shifted as everyone saw Almond atop a huge cliff, facing a 5-kilometer radius large crater.

From the heart of the crater, the earth heaved, ruptured, and shattered like glass as a thunderous screech boomed across the area—a sound like a collapsing mountain and wailing souls blended into one.

Dozens of gigantic obsidian legs, each laced with glowing bone-jade hooks, stabbed out of the scorched ground and dragged up the writhing monstrosity buried within.

Its main body was a kilometer-long millipede-like abomination—its carapace a hybrid of exo-armor and fossilized monarch grave-metal, with pulsating green fissures that hissed out necrotic miasma. Along its back rose dozens of cicada-winged ridges that occasionally burst open, releasing screaming spectral larvae to scout and mark enemies.

At the center of its eyeless, hammerhead-like face was a gaping spiral maw, layered in concentric grinder rings that radiated spatial interference—each ring distorting sound, light, and gravity. From within this maw, a howling wind with a destructive aura echoed.

Above its brow, twin antennae made of living silvery cords writhed, acting as its eyes and sensors.

It was clear that this Floor Boss was a type that had an army of Monsters.

The hundreds of bugs flew towards Almond as the floor boss saw him two kilometers away in front of it on the tallest cliff.

The timer began in the sky.

Almond's eyes flickered as he scanned the floor boss with his Eye of Truth while he used one of the Divine Blessings he created.

Creating an ideal sword blueprint for this situation, the sword that appeared was a large three-meter-long heavy broad sword.

'Let's start with the strongest attack I can muster.'

The insects arrived, now just a hundred meters away from him as many of them opened their mouths, about to release projectile-type attacks.

Almond's right arm moved as faint dark gold wisps with crackling black-golden lightning surged, using a little amount of God Energy to eradicate all insects as they shattered into motes and turned into spirits for him.

The giant boss screeched and burrowed into the ground, moving towards Almond while getting protected by the ground.

Almond used Divine Blessings and his own Geneline abilities.

Divine Blessing: Veil of Severence (SSS)

—> Create a veil that severs desired attributes of the target discovered by the Eye of Truth and imprints them for the user to apply to themselves.

The limit of 1000 Trinity force, so boosting himself wasn't going to work. Still, he could reduce the boss's defense to increase his damage. Lily must have done the same as Regalon geneline had the ability that do that, and more as she had a different set of Divine Blessings that derived power from Regalon and Achromatic genelines both.

The boss felt weakened while underground, but it continued moving, about to emerge in the next second.

Almond's sword swung, not once, but twice in an intensely blurring fashion as he exerted the highest possible physical movement with his hand, infused with most of the soul energy he could control at once—70,000, as he channeled an attack, a Trinity Technique, of pure destructive art.

The boss's head emerged from the ground a hundred meters away from Almond, towering above him as its mouth was already open, reading to unleash a devastating attack.

But right then, a cross-slash that darkened the literal space around it, and bent the dimension towards it came into existence, and blinked forward, striking right on its face.
