Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 466: Roxenvale Familia, God Energy

"You all can go back to your home now. The House Regalon will become the allies of our Roxenvale Familia."

"Tsk, you were the 4th one to arrive, but I suppose you destroyed them more if the leaderboard says so. Damn it. What a waste of time and effort."

"No hard feelings. It's just like when you can't get top three in an event."

"Let's go. We are leaving."

The other familias left without beating around the bush, taking their army as the sky tore open with different rings and they went into their respective floors.

Meanwhile, Roxenvale Familia of the 18th floor stayed, their Chief God sitting at the empty table while contacting someone using a card.

Roxenvale familia were humanoid figures composed entirely of interwoven, glowing crystalline shards. Their forms shimmer with internal flowing light as if wind, which pulses gently in accordance with their emotions. Their "skin" is a mosaic of countless facets, each reflecting and refracting light, making them appear almost ethereal. They have no discernible internal organs, only a complex network of energy channels visible within their translucent bodies, which they hide by adjusting the crystalline membrane and using light to make their own outfit appearances when not wearing armor.

Their "hair" resembles flowing ribbons of pure light, often shifting in color. Their eyes are not separate orbs, but rather concentrated points of intense light within their crystalline faces.

"Chief, are we going back yet? The other eight council members are currently in two events with their groups."

The two members of the Roxenvale God Council arrived beside their Chief God, relaying some information.

"Then you two go and take your groups. Leave the remaining people here." Chief God waved his hand as his call connected and the card on the table sprang up with a hologram.

[ How can Wondering Owl help you? ]

Wondering Owl, an organization belonging to a Deity Familia on the upper floors, specializes in gathering information and selling it to anyone at an appropriate price.

This organization was similar to Nether Grasp Hall, which also belonged to one of the Deity Familias on the upper floors. But Nether Grasp Hall did more than just collect and sell information. Lily had gone to this organization, but in exchange for the task she requested, their price was for her to marry one of the heirs of their Familia, so she walked away.

"I want to know the current location of a newly ascended familia's chief. His name is Almond and the familia's name is Regalon."

[ Understood. Please give us an hour and we will send you his live location. ]

"Chief, you want to meet them right away? They should be very weak, right now, no?"

"Hahaha, it doesn't matter if they are weak at the moment. And if they receive our help, we can have some superiority in our alliance."

"That's wise. They may have potential, but it means nothing if their chief god dies before blooming. Such things have happened many times. The talented Chief Gods who ascended ultimately dies and the familia's prowess drastically slows."

"True, but this Almond is still a cut above the rest from all that I have seen of him." Chief God grinned. "I reckon he has over 1500 Trinity Force right off the bat after breaking through to the God-rank lifeform."

"Sounds like he is nuts. Pun intended."

"Hahahaha, he is indeed nuts. Anyway, you both go scram now and help in the event. I'll meet our new allies and establish some terms between us."

As the Regalons partied into the groups and began their adventures, they first encountered wild monsters and shortly had their first bit of action and adventure on the third layer.

Almond was leading his usual group, the Grim Breakers, but he wasn't fighting monsters. Instead, he was releasing random attacks to get a feel of God energy and creating some Trinity Techniques.

"Woah, we have a lot of God Energy. I used my full powered shot, but I could only control 1800 God Energy while we have a pool of 10,000."

"Elite Gods have a pool of 100,000 and the God Energy is also recovering instantly as soon as we spend it."

"I can only control 1450 God energy at once."

"Boss, how much God Energy you are able to control at once?" Adrian curiously asked Almond.

"It is…forty-six thousand," Almond answered as he released an orb that exploded in a roughly 600-meter diameter, creating a black zone with flickering dark gold ash as all the plants and things started turning into colorful sparks.

"Damn, that's a lot."

"So how do we increase the control of God energy?"

"God Energy is determined by the size of our familia, but the amount of God Energy pool we can have is limited by our rank as you all can see. As for its control…" Almond said as he looked at his palm and conjured cartoony blobs using only God energy and his thoughts, without transforming it using any of his assets.

"Eh? I can't do that…your control is really unhinged," Natalia said with a wry smile.

"Interesting," Almond muttered as he observed the interaction with God energy. "It looks like God Energy's control is influenced by our will."

"So if our will is stronger, we get higher control?"

"Wait, does that mean that if we are depressed, our control lowers?"

"That's brutal."

"Shit, my control really lowered than before! It's lower…the more I get dejected, but lower it goes…"

"Get your shit together. Make a resolve and a goal to move towards. Ignore pleasure and delay gratification, and you shall attain better willpower. Look at the boss. Literally, no one is as maniac as him when it comes to working hard without any pause."

"Alright, enough. There are no more monsters here. Let's continue moving," Almond said and continued flying.

The other followed while talking.

"It feels a bit weird that our sensing range is drastically reduced here."

"You should have seen my ultimate attack before we broke through to God-rank. It looks badass in the second layer, but it looked like a poopy firework here."

Suddenly, everyone felt a pulse passing as they got startled and paused.

Almond narrowed his eyes as he saw a colorful tornado forming a few kilometers away, visible to the naked eye. "It looks like we will be entering our first event now as it just manifested. Let's go."
