Rabbit Goddess: REVAMPED

“Wait here” The Clone ordered as she seemed to disappear inside the cave. For a moment, Pesche was tempted to take Nel and run, but the woman could make freaking portals!! Could they even escape from something like that? They were going to be captured within a span of a few minutes and then things would turn worse for them and Nel.

“What is happening?” Nel asked while tugging at his arm. Pesche felt his heart clench in pain when he noticed the fear on her innocent face.

“The nice lady is going to heal us” Pesche answered softly. It wasn’t a lie, at least not technically, but he decided to leave the rest of the part aside.

“Are you sure?” Dondochakka asked, only to receive a grim nod from Pesche. Pesche wanted to say something. Explain his reasons to Dondochakka at least, but Nel was with them. So he hoped that the look on his face could at least convey some of what he was feeling. Dondochakka simply looked down at his feet and clutched his hands tightly. They have been training to grow stronger, but their training has yet to bear any significant fruits.

“Come inside” All of them jumped slightly when Kaguya spoke up, surprising them. They noticed that the woman was standing in front of the cave and while previously there was nothing, now there was a resting place in there. Pesche and Dondochakka exchanged a glance before leading Nel inside the cave while Bawabawa decided to stay outside.

“Lay down here” Kaguya gestured at a mat and Nel nervously lay down after getting encouraging looks from Pesche and Dondochakka. “I need to put her to sleep, but the two of you can stay and watch over her” Kaguya added as she pulled out the Hogyoku from her Kamui dimension. The words didn’t even register to her before Nel fell asleep and even if Pesche and Dondochakka wanted to say something, they were lost after seeing the Hogyoku.

Previously they didn’t know what to think or feel when the Clone had revealed that she had killed Aizen, but now that they had seen the Hogyoku in Kaguya’s possession they were more than willing to believe that Aizen was well and truly dead. After all, they had seen the Hogyoku before when Aizen had turned them into Arrancars and even though Aizen never said it outright, they knew the Hogyoku was important to the man.

There was no way he would let someone else have the Hogyoku willingly, which meant that Aizen was playing some kind of game or he was dead and they believed that the latter option was more likely…

Kaguya held the Hogyoku over Nel and the Hogyoku started to glow… Kaguya wanted to try using Chakra-based techniques or Kaido to heal Nel to see if they would work on a damaged Hollow like Nel or not, but she wanted to earn their trust. Yes, she could have simply strong-armed them into whatever she wanted, but then they wouldn’t have been loyal to her.

Right now, Kaguya wanted some loyal followers before anything else… The experiments were simply a bonus… Additionally, Pesche and Dondochakka were more expendable in her opinion…

Pesche and Dondochakka could only stare at Nel in awe as the scar on her face started to heal before the crack on her mask finally started to repair. Moments later, the scar on her face was completely gone just like the crack on her mask. After that, Nel finally started to grow big. Nel had turned into a child because her Reiasu had been leaking through the crack of her mask, or at least that was what Szayel Aporro believed.

Well, he was right… Now that her mask was healed, Kaguya was simply using the Hogyoku to refill her Reiatsu and she was already returning to her adult state. Nel ripped through her baggy clothes as she continued to grow and Pesche and Dondochakka immediately looked away. Kaguya did not have a bleeding heart, but she was willing to grudgingly respect their love and dedication to Nelliel.

Soon, Nelliel was back to her original state and when the transformation was finally over, Kaguya took out a blanket from her Kamui dimension and put it over the form of Nelliel. “She is going to sleep for a few hours. So, do you want me to heal the two of you now or do you want for her to wake up?” Kaguya asked. She would prefer if they wanted to get healed right away considering she was a busy woman.

However, instead of answering, both of them kneeled down in front of her before bowing their heads. “Thank you… Thank you for healing her…” Pesche and Dondochakka continued to cry and for the first time in ages, Kaguya felt something stir inside her chest.

It had been ages since anyone had thanked her so genuinely and she would be lying if she said that it didn’t feel nice… A cold of her was screaming at her to dismiss them. After all, they were just ants. She had been revered by the humans. They had worshipped her before they finally turned on her. A part of her screaming at her that if she wasn’t careful then history was going to repeat itself.

However, another part of her wanted her to accept their gratitude and treat them with care and hospitality, but Kaguya decided to choose neither…

She wasn’t going to lower her guard or treat them cruelly, but she was going to accept their gratitude and then move on as a leader should… Kaguya had seen what would happen if she allowed the others to walk over her and what would happen if she started to rule with an iron fist. She needed to be kind, but firm at the same time. It was going to be a tiring endeavour, but Kaguya was willing to work for it.

“It is alright. After all, I did promise you that I would heal all three of you and I do take care of my own” Kaguya said as she turned around and started to leave. Well, it did not look like they wanted to get healed right away, so she simply decided to leave since she had other things to do.

“Thank you…” They thanked her again before she left the room, but this time she stopped and gave them a nod before leaving…

(Two Days Later)

NELLIEL TU ODELSCHWANCK

To be honest, Nelliel did not know how to feel to be finally back… It had been years since Nnoitra and Szayel attacked her and cracked her mask. The memories since then had been hazy, but they were slowly returning to her and every time she remembered how gravely Pesche and Dondochakka were hurt to draw her out, made her feel a pang in the chest.

To remove the mask of a Hollow was one of the most horrible things someone could do to a Hollow and a couple of Hollows had done the same to her Fraccion. What was worse was the fact that it was all because of her… If only she had not been a naïve fool. At that time, she believed that she was stronger and she could handle Nnoitra. She wanted to help him, she wanted to change him, but she had been a fool.

Nnoitra had used Pesche and Dondochakka to get to her… Nnoitra had allied himself with Szayel since he couldn’t have beaten her on his own… Nelliel clutched her hands in anger before slumping… The thing was, Nelliel was not a cruel Hollow unlike most of the Hollows out there. Yes, she might have been cruel sometime in the past since she had been able to become a Vasto Lorde on her own.

Thankfully, Kaguya had healed them… Pesche and Dondochakka were once again Arrancars. A Hollow would lose their ability to grow stronger if their masks were broken or removed, but their masks had been restored, which meant that they could grow stronger once again. Nelliel did not know what Kaguya wanted from them, but she vowed to do whatever she needed to fulfil her debt.

If not for herself then for Pesche and Dondochakka… They had experienced so much pain due to weakness. She had failed them when they needed her the most. Nelliel promised herself that she wasn’t going to let something like that happen ever again…

“You are weak.” Nelliel broke out of her musings when someone spoke to her. Nelliel turned her head to find Zetsu sticking his torso out of the sand.

“What was that?” Nelliel asked sincerely since she genuinely did not hear what he was saying. She was too busy with her own thoughts. Kaguya had introduced them to her son, Zetsu and Nelliel was never going to say this out loud but Zetsu was weird.

“I still do not understand what she sees in you” Zetsu said instead of repeating what he said before. “You are weak and pathetic. You couldn’t even protect your own underlings” Zetsu added and Nelliel clutched her hands in anger, but she knew that he was right.

“I know I am weak” Nelliel admitted before she glanced toward where Pesche and Dondochakka were playing with Bawabawa.

“At least you know you are no good” Zetsu snorted derisively. “I don’t care if you live or die, but if you hold back Mother, or fail her, I will kill them before I kill you” Zetsu said and before Nelliel could say anything in return, Zetsu disappeared into the ground.

Nelliel glared at the spot where Zetsu was before releasing a sigh… She wanted to snap at Zetsu to leave Pesche and Dondochakka out of her spat, but he was already gone. ‘Maybe, it is better this way. I will prove him wrong with my actions instead’ Nelliel vowed internally before she stood up. After all, it had been years since she had fought someone or used her Zanpaktou.

She needed to shrug off the rust and maybe, Pesche, Dondochakka, and Bawabawa could use some training too…

The way Zetsu would go out to warn and threaten her newly recruited followers was simply adorable. Zetsu thought that she did not know about his extra-curricular activities, but he was wrong. Kaguya could clearly see him moving through the ground, going to Nelliel, and threatening her. Hearing them had been somewhat difficult, but Kaguya could enhance her senses severalfold if she concentrated enough.

“Wrap up everything” Kaguya ordered and her Clones started to move immediately. Now that Nelliel and her hangers-on were her followers, it was time to finally visit Las Noches and bring the rest of the Arrancars under her heel. Some of the Arrancars needed to go. For example, Espada #9, Aaroniero Arruruerie, Espada #8, Szayel Aporro Granz, Espada #7, Zommari Rureauz, Espada #5, Nnoitra Gilga, Espada #2, Baraggan Louisenbarin, Espada #10/0, Yammy Llargo.

Yes, she was planning to kill most of the Espada, but it was better to have no subordinates, instead of having subordinates who would sabotage her just out of spite…

Grimmjow and Ulqiorra could be trouble too, but there was a chance that she could handle them with the right words and if she failed, she could always kill them. However, Kaguya was certain that she could recruit Tier Harribel and Coyote Starrk. Later, she could simply promote the weaker Arrancars to the position of Espada if they managed to become strong enough or show any promise.

“We have wrapped up everything” One of her Clones announced and Kaguya simply nodded her head in understanding before dismissing all of her Clones. Right now, they were not needed. Nelliel had taken her Fraccion to train while Zetsu was training on his own and Kaguya could have used this time to get some more training, breaks from time to time were necessary.

After all, Kaguya also needed some time to stretch her legs and there was a group of Hollows a few kilometres away. Maybe, she could test her freshly learned Kido techniques on them…
