Chapter 299: Blackened Junior Sister (4)
However, Yue Ran now appeared to have a strange and dangerous aura and temperament. This in itself was extremely odd.
"Whatever you say is whatever the truth is." Yue Ran could barely hold back from rolling her eyes out in the open.
The young woman raised her long sword and rolled up her long sleeves to reveal her fair and tender skin. Although she was being pointed at with swords by thousands of people, she was calm and showed no signs of embarrassment. Instead, she had an undaunted, domineering aura, with her hair dancing wildly and her red dress swaying and rippling like flowing blood.
"What are you up to?!" The imposing (ly dramatic) old man in white, who Yue Ran surmised was either the sect leader of the Sky Breeze Sect or at the very least an important elder in the Sky Breeze Sect, roared.
"Once the Sword of the Demon awakens, it will absorb the host's vitality!" This so-called Senior Brother Wen Xiu shouted. "Your life force is not enough and would not even last for a stick of incense of time!"
Qing Xi turned her head to face Yue Ran and gritted her teeth in hatred.
This Yue Ran has grown up so big but was always as stupid as a pig, and her cultivation aptitude was also poor. In the end, all that was left of that brainless and talentless woman was just a foxy, charming face!
And it was also this foxy, charming face that always draws men's attention to her!
This must be the explanation as to why, even at this juncture, Jiang Wen Xiu was still subconsciously concerned about that vixen's life! She (Qing Xi) will not spare her (Yue Ran)!
"Sky Breeze Sect? Ha ha…" Yue Ran curled her lips, displaying a demonic-like beauty amidst the terrifying storm. "I do not like whatever this Sky Breeze Sect is."
Having stated that, Yue Ran sliced the palm of her hand with the sharp long sword without any hesitation, and blood gushed out, pouring all over the long silver blade of the sword.
All of a sudden, a massive black hole that seemed to engulf the whole world emerged in the sky. Countless spiritual chains were surging out of the hole wildly and crazily, as if they were trying their best to prevent something from coming out of the sword.
The surrounding wind was blowing violently, and the sky was getting darker and darker!
At that moment, a deep, melodic, and suppressed dragon roar came from the sword.
"How… How is this possible? How is this possible?!" The old man in white roared, his eyes widening in fear. "You... you are not Yue Ran; who the hell are you?! It is impossible for Yue Ran to break the seal of the demonic sword! You... how could you possibly break the seal?! Who are you?!"
Even though he was a well-informed, white-haired old man and was also the current sect leader of the Sky Breeze Sect, he still could not help but change his expression drastically. Receiving such an extreme impact in his mind, his spiritual power waned, and he involuntarily landed on the ground and took three steps back in shock.
The Sky Breeze Sect Leader's face was full of shock and fear, which surprised all the disciples around him because they had never seen their sect leader look so terrified ever since they joined the Sky Breeze Sect.
"I am Yue Ran, but I am not," Yue Ran answered with a smile on her face, even though irritation was building inside her heart. But the more irritated she felt, the more beautiful the smile that appeared on her face became.
The young woman's eyebrows and eyes were charming, and the blood on the palm of her hand was still pouring onto the mottled silver blade of the sword, but she did not look panicked or appear scared in the slightest, even if her blood had been sucked away by the sword. She stood calmly in place, looking at peace (looking joyful even), in spite of the fact that her face had turned a little pale due to the amount of blood she had lost.
"Just treat the previous Yue Ran as a dead man," Yue Ran said before continuing, "and treat this new Yue Ran as me, an evil witch, as you people have claimed, who takes over her body and skin."
"No, no, no! Quick, stop! Stop it! Stop it right now! You don't know the consequences of doing this at all!!!" The Sky Breeze Sect Leader shouted in a panic. "Yue Ran! Listen to me! Everything in the past can be forgiven and forgotten! This is as long as you cease your absurd actions! Give me the demonic sword, or you will regret it! Quick, give it to me!!!"
"The consequences of doing this? Absurd actions? If I do not give you the demonic sword, I will regret it?" Yue Ran laughed softly, her eyes narrowing into beautiful crescents. "Ah, you should know that when I do things, I never pay attention to the consequences."
Yue Ran: After all, I always do things beautifully and flawlessly. The only thing that I would regret is not finishing those things off sooner, thereby wasting more time than necessary. As for the destruction left in its wake, what does it have to do with me? If given the freedom to choose, I will only act in a way that pleases me.
Yue Ran smiled; her smile was bright and flamboyant, entirely different from the useless, good-for-nothing senior sister who wore a veil, moved surreptitiously, and had low cultivation in the daily impression of everyone in the past.
At this point, all members of the Sky Breeze Sect, even if just for a while, really believed that Yue Ran's body may have been possessed by another soul. If not, how could the temperament of the young woman be so different from that of the past?
