Chapter 436: Ruiyang Realm
Wu Tong has stayed in the Chaos Sea for a long time, perhaps even before the Chaos Sea was ever born.
If Heaven Burial Palace truly lies within the Chaos Sea, then Wu Tong should be aware of some secrets.
"Heaven Burial Palace?"
Wu Tong looked somewhat puzzled: "Since you know the name of Heaven Burial Palace, do you not know that this realm was originally a part of it?"
"This realm is a part of Heaven Burial Palace?"
Chu Zheng was momentarily stunned, his expression hard to hide with surprise; Wu Tong's words truly caught him off guard.
He had initially thought that seeking Heaven Burial Palace was no easy task, but never imagined that Heaven Burial Palace lay right beneath his feet.
"Correct, Heaven Burial Palace should have been its name before the Primordial Era."
Seeing Chu Zheng was completely unaware, Wu Tong immediately explained:
"Not long after the Chaos Sea was carved out, Heaven Burial Palace, losing its nourishment of Heavenly Fate, saw its unbreakable spatial barriers shatter one by one. The scattered realms were divided by some powerful living creatures and have since been integrated into the entire Chaos Sea. This realm is one of those parts."
Upon hearing Wu Tong's words, Chu Zheng felt a slight disappointment. He had hoped to find clues about the Reincarnation Road within Heaven Burial Palace, but realized Heaven Burial Palace had long ceased to exist.
It makes sense though; the distance from the Primordial Era is indeed too long, especially for the Chaos Sea, where things have drastically changed over time. If not for a being like Wu Tong, whose lifespan is terrifyingly long, few living creatures could have survived from then until now.
Knowing Heaven Burial Palace no longer exists, Chu Zheng no longer pondered and immediately expressed his farewell:
"I apologize for the disturbance, I hope the senior forgives me. Thank you for your reminder today, senior. I'll take my leave now."
This venture was not entirely unfruitful; at least now he knows that Wu Tong stands on his side, opening opportunities for future advantages.
"Safe travels." Wu Tong didn't try to stop him, his expression earnest: "If there's an opportunity in the future, I will surely repay the favor you once granted."
"It's just a minor effort, there's no need for the senior to keep it in mind."
Chu Zheng bowed respectfully, then turned and left.
Watching Chu Zheng's departing figure, Wu Tong's gaze was complex.
The favor spoken of may need to be traced back a long time, and it's far more than a mere effort; it's akin to rebirth.
...
...
Chu Zheng distanced himself from the Ancient Phoenix Tree, contemplated for a long time, and suddenly his eyes lit up, having some ideas.
He spent several months searching for a suitable corpse, recently deceased, used the Armor Demon to invade and control the remnants, then completely repaired the body with the repair panel.
The Armor Demon thoroughly lurked within the body, instantly transforming Chu Zheng into a little cultivator who recently entered the Martial Path.
With this layer of protection, Chu Zheng spent several more months seeking an opportunity to join a medium-sized sect.
This sect is called Treasure Elephant Sect, where the strongest possesses cultivation of the Sixth Order Martial God Realm.
Here, is Chu Zheng's prepared springboard.
Currently, all Chaos Sea is within the influence range of the Martial Hall, and all sect forces within the Great Realm count as subordinate influences of the Martial Hall.
Treasure Elephant Sect is naturally the same, but his level remains unable to directly reach the Martial Hall, as above it lies the Ice Cloud Sect, a formidable force with a Semi-Saint stationed.
Since other methods are no longer viable, Chu Zheng prepared to attempt going through the Martial Hall, openly walking out.
He could spend over a thousand years slowly elevating the cultivation of this body to Martial Saint, and subsequently advance from Treasure Elephant Sect to Ice Cloud Sect, even higher-level subordinate forces, thus gradually coming into contact with the Martial Hall.
With the Great Universe Dao War approaching, the Martial Hall is in need, a Martial Saint presumably qualifies to do small tasks, significantly increasing opportunities to enter within the Great Universe.
This method is fairly safe but very time-consuming; nonetheless, what Chaos Sea lacks least is time, and Chu Zheng can afford to wait.
Moreover, he seems to have no other path to take now.
...
...
Vast Universe Great Realm.
While on the move, Chu Zheng suddenly stopped his steps without the slightest hesitation, turned, and quickly headed in the direction opposite to Lingtian Prefecture Domain.
Having known there was an Ancient Ancestor like Li Yunzhao watching the space channel, he naturally wouldn't risk venturing to Lingtian Prefecture Domain.
With a change of direction, Chu Zheng began searching for traces of that ancient hall.
After searching around all the Divine Mansions for more than a year, Chu Zheng ultimately gave up and headed towards the Boundary.
Although he could stay long in this place, it had considerable disadvantages for cultivation; the subtlety of his spiritual energy was difficult to conceal, with Yang Qi being too vigorous, often leading to accidents, and also delaying cultivation.
Over this past year, he constantly attempted to search for traces of that ancient hall, and spent a large amount of Yin Jade asking various forces within the Vast Universe Great Realm for help, but it was ultimately needle-in-a-haystack and never found any clues.
The Vast Universe Great Realm is indeed too vast; searching within it for an ancient hall equates to a whimsical fancy.
During this aimless wandering, Chu Zheng slew numerous Evil Spirits and Demon Monsters, accumulating Heavenly Fate to a certain extent but still far less compared to his place within the Great Universe.
The Immortal Path's Heavenly Fate had been devoured by him excessively.
Given this, if relying solely on himself to slowly accumulate up to half of Heaven's Fortune, who knows how many living creatures need to be slain.
When Chu Zheng again arrived at the Boundary, several months had already passed.
Just after crossing the Boundary barrier, Chu Zheng received several transmissions, from Song Lingxue.
