Proyect: Bland King - Ayanokouji Kiyotaka en Blue Lock

Anri: This... is insane. Is this really a soccer match?

Ego: What you're seeing right now, is exactly why Blue Lock is here in the first place. Shido, for the first time, has found another lifeform at his level and is amused by it. Rin, on the other hand, only thought the people in Blue Lock were pawns and he's found out real quick that he could lose this match. And finally, Ayanokouji has found his egoism. It's only a matter of time before it's fully awakened. 

Anri: It's because of Shido, isn't it?

Ego: Would you look at that? The errand girl got something right.

Anri was annoyed.

Anri: (Errand girl?)

 Ego: For now, Ayanokouji and Shido have the advantage because of their chemistry with one another. With Ayanokouji ordering the other two to specific places to defend, and their quick and fast counterattacks, Team Red will most likely lose. 

Anri: So that's it. Team White wins?

Ego: Idiot. I only said right now. There is one way Team Red can change the match's momentum.

Anri: And that's...

Ego: A potential awakening from Rin. 

Anri: But didn't you tell me before that you didn't even believe that he would awaken?

Ego: I didn't think a team would form that would have been enough to contend with him. Now, we'll see just how far Team White pushes Itoshi Rin and how he will respond against the pressure.

Ayanokouji: Shido, stay on Aryu and prepare for the counterattack. Raichi, glue yourself onto Bachira. Igarashi defend the goal. I'll handle Rin and Tokimitsu. 

Shido: Ya sure you can handle those two? Aren't ya tired? 

Looking at the players, Ayanokouji noticed fatigue taking effect. The match was fast-paced since the very beginning so it makes sense to see players from both teams exhausted. Tokimitsu, however, was perfectly fine. 

Ayanokouji: (Tokimitsu's body is his strength. He has a good amount of stamina. It's even higher than Raichi's. However, it's not as impressive as I initially thought.) No I'm fine. Just keep pressing them. 

Raichi: You don't need to worry about me. I can't get tired!

Ayanokouji: A bit of exaggeration, but I like your spirit. 

Shido chuckled while Raichi angrily retorted from the embarrassing situation. 

Ayanokouji: When I give the signal, everyone, rush the attack and forgo defense. 

Igarashi: Even me?

Ayanokouji: Yes, even you. 

On the other side, Rin checked the ball first. Instantly, Ayanokouji met his advance and stopped him in his tracks. In an annoyed state, he passed it along to Bachira. 

Ayanokouji: What's wrong, Rin? Why'd you pass it along? I thought only midfielders did that.

Rin: Tch!

Bachira pushed the tempo until Raichi cornered him and used his taller frame and bountiful stamina to encircle him. 

Raichi: Come on. I can do this all day. 

Bachira, instead of dribbling, sent a short pass over to Tokimitsu.

Tokimitsu: Oh, I'm going to mess this up so bad!

He dashes forward and does a one-two with Aryu to get past Shido. Ayanokouji drops back as Rin dashed forward in an attempt to receive a pass from Tokimitsu who now was closing in on the penalty box. 

Ayanokouji: (Everything is going exactly the way I intended it to go. Aryu and Tokimitsu were too much for Shido. Bachira, in order to render Raichi useless, doesn't even attempt to dribble through him. And Rin, who now was awaiting a pass coming from Tokimitsu, is one step too late.)

Tokimitsu sent a pass over to Rin, but Ayanokouji accelerated to his full speed and intercepted the pass, beginning the counterattack. 

This time, in a move that left Team Red confused, Raichi, Igarashi, and Shido joined Ayanokouji's rush towards the goal. 

Rin: (Now he wants to bring up his two liabilities? Why?)

Igarashi, with his no-die attitude, charged into Bachira. Tokimitsu contained Raichi in the counterattack and Aryu kept stride with Shido. 

Rin recovered and was able to get back on defense, in anticipation of Ayanokouji's next move. 

His eyes looked aside towards Shido who responded to his command, rushing right by Aryu and towards Ayanokouji. 

Rin: (Is he going to pass to Shido, or is he going to take the shot himself? I don't know...)

Finally, he made a decision and rushed forward to block Shido's advance, to which Aryu switched and now defended Ayanokouji. 

Aryu: It's time you saw my glam!

Ayanokouji: I've already measured your abilities, slender man. 

Hitting a pass forward, Ayanokouji jolted through Aryu's grasp and into open field. 

Aryu: Ah, Someone defend him!

Rin left Shido's side and instead heeded Aryu's plea and defended Ayanokouji.

Rin: You're the most dangerous person on the pitch right now, Ayanokouji. I'll 'end' your life right now-

Ayanokouji: If you were planning on killing me, you should've shown more killing intent. You're not convincing anyone. 

And with that, Ayanokouji shot the ball cleanly past Rin, to his bewilderment as he copied his own shooting style by hitting it with his 'less dominant leg,' his left leg. 

 The shot swished right through the keeper from 10 meters out, missing Rin's foot by a quarter of a cm. 

***Team White {4] - Team Red [3]***

 And with that, Team White was in the lead and in need of only a goal to win the match. 

Shido ran over to Ayanokouji and tried to raise him up. 

Shido: Come on! Let me hear ya scream! 

Ayanokouji: I don't scream. 

Shido: Aw cmon, we're almost winning this game and you're just gonna keep that same poker face?

Ayanokouji: It's been like this since I was little. There's no reason it's going to change anytime soon. 

Shido laughed and rested his left arm around Ayanokouji's shoulder. 

Shido: Only a little more. The onion is almost peeled. 

Ayanokouji: What onion?

Igarashi and Raichi charged over to Ayanokouji to celebrate his goal. They were now in a comfortable scenario and the pressure on Rin's team was the highest it's ever been. 

Ayanokouji: (Just one more attack. One more attack and this game is over.)

...

Rin looked on at the two monsters in front of him: Ayanokouji and Shido. Their eyes looked almost superhuman. And upon recognizing he was completely outmatched, frustration boiled over on Rin's face. 

His fake poker face shriveled away and his anger appeared present to his entire team. 

Rin: (Why are these two bastards in the way? Why don't they just die and wither away so I can crush my brother?)

He couldn't accept it completely, but deep down, he knew that Ayanokouji had seen through his entire arsenal of weapons. He completely neutralized Aryu, Tokimitsu, and Bachira. The tandem between Ayanokouji and Shido was impossible to defend. Either they connected on a super goal, or they made their own goal-scoring chance and used the other one as bait. It was indefensible.

Aryu: Looks like we're in a tough spot. But this is the part where my glam shines the most: in the clutch. 

Tokimitsu: Ah... we're gonna lose at this rate. And it's all my fault! I can't stop anyone from their team! What am I going to do?!

Rin: Just shut up. Shut the fuck up. If I take on one of the duo, you need to at least neutralize the second one. 

Aryu: Ah, you don't need to be that grumpy. Don't you think we know that? They aren't exactly easy to defend. 

Rin, angered by this, was about to snap but Bachira stopped him.

Bachira: Don't you find this exciting, Rin?

Rin: Huh?

Bachira: I could've never thought that I'd get so excited for a match without Isagi in it. 

His eyes lit up and looked over at Rin. 

Bachira: We're going to win. You and me will break through and win. 

Rin sighed. 

Rin: I thought you wanted to go against Isagi. If we win, you won't see him again until after the second selection is finished. 

Bachira smiled. 

Bachira: I really wanted to go against Isagi, but my ego is telling me to beat Ayanokouji and Shido-kun. 

This hit Rin like a ton of bricks. 

Rin: (Every waking moment, this idiot talks about Isagi Yoichi. For what it's worth, I know how much he wanted Isagi to snatch him up. And yet his own dream is set on hold in an attempt to win this one game. I can't have this runt be the most composed in my own team. I at least have to match his own resolve. I want to win this game too. My brother can fucking wait. It's not like he's going anywhere. I'll destroy them and evolve.)

With his newfound confidence, Rin looked down at Bachira.

Rin: Help me destroy Ayanokouji, Bachira. 

Bachira: Of course. That's what my monster wants too, hehehe. 

In the middle of the field, Bachira checked it off to Rin who passed it along to Tokimitsu and Aryu, making a square-shaped formation. 

Ayanokouji: (Oh, so they're taking that approach.)

Raichi covered Bachira once again, utilizing his boundless stamina to its very limits. 

Bachira received the ball and, this time, completely dribbled through Raichi, leaving him in his dust. 

Raichi: Fuck!

Shido: Seriously, Shark-boy. If ya can't do your damn job, what good are ya? 

Shido switched with Raichi and used his superior strength on Bachira to stop him in his tracks. 

Bachira: Oh, you're pretty good, demon. 

Shido: Hehe, let's see what ya got-

Bachira's eyes glowed and he performed a fast-paced sequence of dribbling moves that got him past Shido's defense. 

Shido: Not bad. 

Bachira was glowing. He danced with the soccer ball in open field, and saw Rin running open to the penalty box. 

Raichi charged back towards Bachira. 

Raichi: Not so fast, dribbler! I got ya cornered! You're not getting past me again!

Bachira, almost like he was in a trance, didn't even hear him. Instead, he stopped in place and heel flicked the ball over his head, and right past Raichi who fell over on the ground.

Bachira: Wow, this is so much fun!

Finally, he sent the ball right through towards Rin. 

Rin took the pass and now the only person that stopped his advance... was Ayanokouji. 

Ayanokouji was prepared for Bachira's awakening in this match so he made sure to glue himself onto Rin, knowing he would pass to him.

Ayanokouji: (Now, Itoshi Rin, what will you do?)

Rin attempted to dribble past Ayanokouji, but nothing seemed to work. Ayanokouji's eyes saw through everything. If Rin moved right, he was already there. If Rin moved left, his advance was stopped by Ayanokouji who saw through it. 

Rin: (Even now, I can't get past him?)

He attempted a fake on his left, only for Ayanokouji to sniff it out and almost steal the ball from him. 

Rin had to retract his advance. 

Rin: (If I can't even destroy this bastard, then how can I even reach my brother?)

He sent the ball through Ayanokouji's legs, thinking he could pass him in that manor. However, all it did was make Ayanokouji drop back and push off Rin, who barely retained the ball. 

Ayanokouji: (It's only a matter of time.)

Slowly but surely, Rin would run out of ideas, and have the ball completely taken from him. His passing lanes were also shut off by Ayanokouji's positioning as well. 

The situation was bleak. However, it is only when humans are pushed to their very limits, that we find out their true nature. And for Rin, that was exactly the case. 

Ayanokouji: Thank you for the ball. 

Ayanokouji finally snatched the ball from Rin, and Shido ran up the pitch, awaiting Ayanokouji's pass. 

But a pass would never come because Ayanokouji only had the ball for another second. 

Rin's face contorted and his calm demeanor faded away into obscurity. He finally showed his true self. 

His tongue stuck out and his eyes finally showed their killing intent. 

Rin: Kill.... Kill.... Ayanokouji...

Ayanokouji's eyes widened as the ball was stripped away from him and Rin smashed the ball with even more power than before. It curved crazily past Igarashi and the hologram goalkeeper inside to tie the match. 

 ***Team White [4] - Team Red [4]***

Rin stared right at Ayanokouji after his goal. 

Rin: Soccer is a battlefield. Losing is the same as dying. So I'll kill you before you can kill me, pretentious fuck!

Ayanokouji: (What is that state he's in? His behavior completely changed. Is this his awakened state?)

Inside the observatory room, Anri couldn't believe what she was witnessing. The match was now sent into chaos. Ayanokouji's authoritative control over the game was now broken and now Team Red had the momentum. 

Ego: So the first person to enter flow... was you, Itoshi Rin.
