project X: the inner monster

Ash fell asleep quickly after going to bet. But the he suddenly found himself in a burned down place. Everything was burning, leaving nothing but ashes on the ground. Looking forward he saw a monster looking towards him. It wasn't like anything he had seen before. He realised it was his home town that was burning as he heard screams of help. He started to look around panicking. He saw Ark who was trying to get up to shield him but couldn't. He started breathing heavy. He couldn't think straight than realisation hit, it was a monster that he was facing and that monster caused everything. He looked towards the monster who smiled saying "you figured it out" with a terrifying voice then sudden BOOM the monster had went infront of ash and stapled him with his hand that morphed into a blade. Ash scream out as he looked around he saw he was at his house. Panicking he breathed heavy and said to himself "what was that?" His aunt rushed in and said if he was alright which shocked him his aunt never cared about him. He said he just had a bad dream and apologised for waking them up. His aunt said it's okay and remember it's just a dream, Heading off to sleep. Ash now thought "what in the world is going on?" At first it's the weird whispers, then this dream, and now my aunt treats me like a human? Somethings wrong, really wrong, but I can't seem to find what it is. The a sudden whisper saying "The dream" was heard Ash looked around saying "who was that?" Then again "the dream" ash was now scared he didn't know who was whispering to him. Then he looked at his hand, he saw it was moving on its own he let it move saying "what could go wrong I allready have you inside of my arm, and I can't do anything about it, but where are those whispers coming from" he tried to sleep but the dream haunted him… it was morning allready. Time passed so soon, he didn't get any sleep. He got ready for school while thinking about last night. The dream he had, the way his aunt was kind to him, the way his hand moved on its own. And how the whisper mentioned his dream. He was getting freaked out a little, but he got ready for school and went out. His aunt saying "stay safe" which shocked him, but he met up with Ark and didn't want to freak him out so he just mentioned the weird dream he had. Ark said "that seems scary. what did the monster look like?" Ash thought about it and said "it kind of looks like a perasite that infected a human, or a disease of some sorts in human form" Ark wondering what it could be said "maybe it was just your imagination, I mean a lot did happen. you changed a lot I can tell." Ash said yea you're right." On their way to school Ash was recognised more kids said how are you greeted him or even asked for him to go out, it was like a dream but it wasn't Ash seemed shocked very shocked. He didn't know how to respond he was speachless. Ark was getting noticed the same as Ash, he was freaked out too. Ark asked Ash "what did you do for everyone to greet us?" Ash said "I have no idea" they continued to the day but it was fishy teachers were calling them out, kids were talking, the lunch lady even gave them extra food. In class ash and ark were sitting together it was a boring class. Ash was thinking about the dream still "what could this mean? Is it actually true? Or am I just paranoid?" Suddenly his hand started moving rapidly gripping a pen nearby and started scribbling something, ash was scared but pretended he was doing it on porpous Ark started chuckling saying "what are you writing. I can't make out anything" Ash chuckled too secretly scared then the hand ripped out the paper and shoved it in his pocked. Then a whisper "read it alone" Ash was now visibly freaked out he still had no idea where the whispers where coming from. Then the teacher asked him "is everything okay? You seem like your sick." Ash said "yeah I'm just thirsty" bringing out his water bottle and drinking all of it. The teacher said "you don't have to wait until class ends, if your thirsty drink whenever you want" Ash nodded and continued he was now calmer. As the kid behind him poked him and asked "are you okay I saw your hand move weirdly before" Ash said stuttering "y-ea I'm o- okay" the girl looked slightly confused, and just ignored it" Ark said "bro what's wrong with you you never act like that" Ash said trying to cover up him being a monster "it's just the dream it's been on my mind and I can't get it out" Ark said "woah whatever that dream was it messed with you a lot." Ash sighed and said "yeah I can't get it off my mind" the last bell rung and Ash left the school with Ark. kids were saying goodbyes, and most of them said bye to Ash and Ark too which left them happy
