Primordial Monarch: Apocalyptic Evolution

A hummer jeep and a huge tiger were moving along the road not minding the aberrants that came towards them due to the noise of their movements. In the hummer jeep, Zen, Sakura and Raven sat at the back while General Daichi sat at the passenger seat and Lyla drove. Xi, Yuki, Scarlet, Anna and the tan-skinned man sat on the wide back of the tiger as they followed after the jeep.

"Is there anything I have to be mindful of?" Zen decided to ask since he felt the silence was already getting awkward.

"oh, well...I don't think there is..." General Daichi said after some thought as he stared at Zen from the rearview mirror.

"Okay, then.." Zen shrugged and brought three pieces of beef jerky,handed one to Sakura and another to Raven who collected them and began o eat.

Meanwhile, in the floating mountain in the sky, Aika sat at her seat together with her four subordinates as they looked at the twelve projections in front of them. They all had a solemn look on their faces as the stared at each other.

"So...what do we do about the uprising?" the brownskinned blonde asked as she put her hands under her chin.

"what do you expect, we need to be fast in pulling the talents we can get our hands on..." a grumpy bespectacled man said.

"From the military shelters we have stationed around, we must have gotten some rare geniuses we could groom, yeah?" Aika asked and everyone nodded in agreement.

"..but the turn-up is too small, instead of waiting for them to come to our shelter, why don't we go to them instead...it would help them understand how important they are.." a blonde man with a lazy aura said before yawning.

Aika thought for a while before responding,"that's a great idea, ambassador Xanders, this is what Dominion has been using to pull the talents towards their side"

'they make them understand how important they are for the second phase and pull them towards their side'

North Pole,

Inside a glacial mountain, individuals dressed in black cloaks, red cloaks and white cloaks could be seen all standing at several areas. The black cloaked ones stood below, the red cloaked ones stood above the black,while the white were above the red. A round table consisting of just four seats was in the middle.

Just then, a teleportation circle appeared behind each seat as one person came of them, two men and two women. Unlike the rest, they did not wear any cloaks aside from the crown insignia on their attire.

"Two, any success in your search?" the burly man wearing an armour asked as he looked at the black haired woman who wore a military uniform.

"yes, i was able to recruit two first order with battlemage class and assassin class respectively" the woman said and the man nodded.

"three?" the man's gaze shifted towards the other man with cat like eyes and a mole on his nose.

"nothing much, just ten unawakened with exceptional talents, they are just steps away from attaining their classes and awakening" the cat eyed man said making the burly man nod again.

"no need to ask, i was not successful, I actually made a discovery, but I was not able to check it out before you called us" the woman said, she looked asian.

"what did you discover,four?"

"well,have you ever received a quest concerning another human aside from yourself?" Four asked as she looked at the others,their expression carrying a bit of confusion and skepticism.

"a quest?...what was this quest about?" One asked.

"the quest asked me to survive if I get seen by the other person..." four said as she recalled how spooked she had been when she had seen the quest prompt in front of her, what confused her was the fact that the other person had not awakened.

Zen, Sakura, Xi, Scarlet, Anna, Raven and the tan-skinned man whose name was Uwa stood beside General Daichi and Lyla as they looked at the military settlement they were standing in. Madeshift tents were sprawled around in an orderly manner and normal people could be seen inside them. Some of them came out to stare at Zen and their groups while making small greetings with General Daichi.

They reached the only building in the settlement, standing in front of it was the bulky man and Councilor Yamada who was looking at the incoming group. When the latter saw the girls, his eyes flashed with an unusual light which did not go unnoticed by Zen who chose to ignore it.

"Can you put off the pressure, you're affecting my companions" Zen looked at the bulky man and said with nonchalance. This surprised the bulky man, so also Councilor Yamada whose face turned grim.

The bulky man looked at Zen for a while before stretching his right hand out for a handshake, "I guess Daichi was not exaggerating, I'm Colonel Barnes" 

"Zen" Zen shook the hand and they stayed like that for a while before unclasping each other's hand. Zen sneered inwardly while General Daichi looked shocked since he had seen how the colonel's brows had twitched a little.

"Good...good....good" Colonel Barnes said before he turned around and walked in, as soon as he entered his face twisted into a frown as he held his right hand which was twitching continously.

"damn!!, how the hell is a kid this strong?" he muttered as he massaged his hand while grimacing.

"We would discuss the subjugation tomorrow, but for now, you guys can take a look around the settlement..." General Daichi said amicably as he smiled at Zen who nodded.

"that's a good idea, but I'll pass...I would like to rest for now, if you guys are interested you can have a look around" Zen said.

"if that's the case, let this lady show you to your quarters" Councilor Yamada said and a tall muscled woman stepped out from entrance and gestured inside. Zen rose an eyebrow before throwing the councilor a glance. He looked at Sakura who shook her head and clung to his arm which made him smile.

Zen looked back at the others and noticed that they had gone to explore the settlement. he shook his head and walked into the entrance. Councilor Yamada watched their backs with a sly smile playing on his lips. Zen who was walking also had a mocking smile.
