Primordial Beast Tamer

A Visitor at Dusk

It only has one Beast Tamer High School, but its performance in the Beast Tamer High School League Tournament is consistently poor, with low rankings.

In contrast, the Beast Tamer High School in the neighboring city, Daisycoast City, ranks much higher.

With this dilemma in mind, Celio returned to his home with the form in his hand.

Celio's home was a small villa with a garden.

Although it wasn't large, it was more than spacious enough for just two people!

His mother often stayed at her research institute and rarely came home, so most of the time, Celio was the only one living in the villa.

"I'm home!"

"Welcome back."

Celio's mother, Belén Alegre, was rarely at home, but today she was, eagerly awaiting for the news of Celio's awakening ceremony.

"How did it go? Did you awaken successfully? What level of talent did you get?"

Celio grinned. "I did! I awakened a red-level talent!"

Belén jumped up in excitement and hugged Celio tightly, "Well done! I knew you could do it! Your father only awakened a blue-level talent back in the day, and now you've surpassed both of us!"

Celio blushed.

Talent only represented potential.

It wasn't unheard of for people with lower-level talents to still become Master Beast Tamer or even Legendary Beast Tamers.

There was no need to make such a big deal out of it!

"Today, I'm cooking personally! Let's make a feast for our future Beast Tamer genius!" Belén happily skipped off towards the kitchen.

Remembering his mother's cooking, which was notorious for being inedible, Celio was instantly alarmed.

He quickly tried to stop her, "Wait! Mom! Let me do it! You've been working all day at the institute!"

"No way! How can we let today's hero cook?" Belén beamed, with a spatula in one hand and a big pot in the other, ready for action.

Celio couldn't help but feel a bit nervous as he watched her determined expression.

It was strange.

Belén's spirit beasts's food was highly favored by Herba-type spirit beasts, yet the food she made for humans was almost impossible to eat.

Just as Celio and Belén were in the middle of their disagreement, the doorbell rang.

Ding-dong! Ding-dong!

Celio walked over to answer the door.

The person outside was someone he was familiar with—it was Piedra Rodrigo, the Intermediate Beast Tamer who had conducted his awakening ceremony that morning.

"Hello, Celio! Aren't you going to invite me in?" Piedra joked with a smile.

"Of course! Please come in, Mr. Rodrigo!" Celio stepped aside, gesturing for Piedra to enter.

"Celio! Who's at the door?" Belén called from inside.

"It's Mr. Rodrigo, the Beast Tamer who handled my awakening ceremony this morning!" Celio introduced Piedra to his mother as he led him inside.

Belén narrowed her eyes, sensing something was off, "Hello, Mr. Rodrigo! I'm Celio's mother, Belén Alegre!"

"Hello, Ms. Alegre! I'm an Intermediate Beast Tamer under the Cerisier City Beast Tamer League. It's a pleasure to meet you!" Piedra said, his face full of smiles, seemingly unaware of the tension coming from Belén.
