"Since my rebirth, surprises seem endless," Satoshi muttered, reflecting on his journey so far. Meeting Froakie outside Pallet Town, making friends with Yellow in Viridian City, encountering Mew and Team Rocket in Viridian Forest, and battling Brock's mage Aerodactyl for a badge had all been extraordinary.

Then, there was Treecko, Riolu, and the intense training sessions. Now, just as he was heading to the Pokémon Center to rest, yet another unexpected event unfolded.

On the path to the Pokémon Center, he saw a young girl standing against a Gyarados and a Staryu.

The girl had orange, medium-length hair tied into a ponytail. She wore an orange tank top and denim shorts, revealing her toned abdomen and legs. Despite her youthful energy, she was bruised and battered, with scars covering her body. Her Staryu looked equally exhausted.

The Gyarados, on the other hand, appeared unscathed but enraged, its white eyes signaling a berserk state.

"A Gyarados in Mt. Moon? That's worth investigating," Satoshi thought. But what caught his attention was the girl—Misty, the Cerulean City Gym Leader.

His thoughts clicked into place. "Wait, there's a storyline in the Pokémon manga about this... I think I know what's going on."

As Gyarados fired a powerful Hydro Pump at Staryu, Satoshi knew he had to act quickly. Without hesitation, he ran to intervene.

"Miss, it looks like you could use some help," he said, standing tall beside Misty. Grovyle stepped forward, prepared to fight.

"Roar!!!"

Gyarados roared furiously and redirected its attention to Satoshi and Grovyle. The berserk Pokémon charged up another Hydro Pump, the energy swirling menacingly in its mouth.

Misty turned to Satoshi, her voice strained. "Are you a Trainer? Be careful! Gyarados's Hydro Pump is extremely powerful. Even with a Grass-type Pokémon, one hit could take it down."

Satoshi smirked, unbothered by the warning. He analyzed the situation: "Gyarados is strong, but it's berserk. That leaves it predictable and vulnerable to counters."

As Gyarados unleashed its Hydro Pump, Grovyle stood still, unflinching. The powerful stream of water surged forward like a cannonball, closing in on Grovyle with immense force.

Misty gasped. "What are you doing? Move!" she shouted, alarmed by Grovyle's stillness.

But Satoshi remained calm.

"Grovyle, Double Team!" he commanded.

In an instant, Grovyle created several clones of itself, confusing the rampaging Gyarados. The Hydro Pump struck one of the clones, exploding into a misty spray of water.

Misty blinked in surprise. "He's not just strong; he's strategic too," she thought.
