Seadra's combination of Waterfall and Ice Beam was executed seamlessly, catching Golbat off guard.

The short distance between them made it nearly impossible for Golbat to evade in time.

"Use Tailwind for defense. Stay calm," Sato instructed, his tone steady.

Hearing this, the momentary panic in Golbat's eyes vanished, replaced by a calm determination. Its eyes glowed green once more as it summoned a white whirlwind in front of it for protection.

Unfortunately, the whirlwind was hastily conjured, and despite Golbat's best efforts, its size was insufficient. Seadra's Ice Beam was already closing in.

Due to the waterspout, the air was saturated with moisture, and the spinning white whirlwind contained large amounts of water vapor.

As soon as the icy blue beam from Seadra's snout struck the whirlwind, it froze instantly, creating an ice sculpture resembling a funnel suspended in mid-air.

The sudden appearance of the ice sculpture provided Golbat with a solid shield. Seadra's subsequent Ice Beam strikes merely thickened the icy surface of the sculpture without reaching Golbat hidden behind it.

"To think he could adapt so quickly, using the environment's changes to help Golbat escape danger... His improvisational skills are incredible," Meiko thought in awe, her earlier confidence shaken.

She had exploited Golbat's inability to sustain the waterspout, directing Seadra to combine Waterfall and Ice Beam to catch it off guard.

Yet, in a blink, Sato turned the situation around with composure and quick thinking.

The fleeting opportunity was gone. With Seadra's attack thwarted, the collapsing waterspout crumbled entirely, dragging down the funnel-shaped ice sculpture along with it.

At this moment, Golbat's aerial advantage over Seadra, who was now falling helplessly, became apparent.

"Air Cutter, six-fold combination," Sato commanded, seizing the opportunity to counter.

Upon hearing the order, Golbat's wings gathered dense, white energy. It flapped its broad wings sharply, releasing a massive blade of air toward the falling Seadra.

Battle experience truly accelerated a Pokémon's growth. Through continuous matches and its rising level, Golbat's mastery over Air Cutter had become almost flawless, achieving a exceptionally high level of control.

Now, in the heat of battle, Golbat felt confident it could unleash a massive Air Cutter in one go. With this newfound confidence, it successfully executed the move, feeling a mix of relief and pride.

The white blade of air, swift as lightning and brimming with momentum, targeted Seadra with pinpoint accuracy. In the air with no surface to push off from, Seadra had no chance to dodge.

"Counter it with Hydro Pump!"

In this critical moment, Meiko stepped in, her voice calm but commanding, as she addressed the now fearful Seadra.

Seadra, overwhelmed and panicked, clung to its trainer's command like a lifeline. A massive jet of water shot from its mouth, hurtling toward the incoming air blade.

Seadra's Hydro Pump collided with Golbat's Air Cutter in a spectacular clash. Despite its immense power and broad area of attack, the massive air blade was swiftly split in two by the high-pressure water jet.

Of course, the obstruction caused by the Hydro Pump inevitably slowed the air blade's advance. At the same time, the recoil from the Hydro Pump propelled Seadra further away from the attack.

In the end, Seadra successfully evaded the Air Cutter and safely returned to the water.

"So Hydro Pump can be used like this. Impressive. But you still can't escape Golbat's pursuit," Sato remarked, a trace of admiration in his eyes as he watched Meiko's clever strategy.

Still, a sly smile formed on his lips as he devised a nasty countermeasure.

"Golbat, use Supersonic on the water's surface! Force it out!"

Not giving Seadra any chance to recover, Sato ordered Golbat to press the attack immediately.

Golbat responded by unleashing concentric sound waves from its enormous mouth, visibly rippling through the air before striking the water.

Since water is an excellent conductor of sound, Seadra had no chance to evade the Supersonic while submerged. The disorienting waves overwhelmed it, turning its vicious eyes bloodshot as it succumbed to confusion.

Seadra, in its confused state, began madly ramming itself against one of the pool's walls as though holding a grudge against it.

The wall soon developed a cracked indentation, while Seadra itself sustained significant injuries from the relentless impact.

"Snap out of it, Seadra! The enemy's coming for you!" Meiko shouted desperately, trying to rouse her dazed Pokémon. But her cries were futile as Seadra continued its assault on the wall, oblivious to her commands.

"Use Whirlwind Shield to pull it out of the water, then finish it off with Air Cutter," Sato instructed coldly, showing no mercy.

Golbat created a rapidly spinning white whirlwind with a sharp flap of its wings.

When the vortex touched the water, it transformed into a waterspout, immediately pulling the still-confused Seadra into its spiraling current.

With Seadra now trapped in the waterspout, Golbat abruptly ceased its control, causing the waterspout to collapse. The disoriented Seadra was flung into the open air, completely exposed.

At that moment, Seadra, its eyes still glowing red, instinctively turned toward Golbat and unleashed an Ice Beam. The sudden attack struck one of Golbat's wings, catching it off guard.

"SCREEEEECH!"

Golbat let out a sharp cry of pain, but it retaliated swiftly. Channeling its frustration, Golbat released an even larger Air Cutter than before.

The massive blade of air slashed downward with devastating force, striking the unresponsive Seadra head-on.

With a loud "BOOM," Seadra was sent crashing back into the water, creating a towering splash.

When Seadra finally resurfaced, it was unconscious, floating lifelessly on the water. The intense battle between the two was over; Seadra had fainted and could no longer fight.

Mass Release Announcement!
