Passing through the clump of grass, there were rose bushes.

Swadloon nodded.

"Alright then, come on in~"

Natsume immediately pulled out a Poké Ball and gave a subtle thumbs-up to Servine and Arcanine.

"Servine~."

Servine crossed its arms and shook its head.

"Awooo~"

Arcanine grinned happily, sticking out its tongue.

Pop~

Swadloon touched the button on the Poké Ball.

With a flash of red light, Swadloon was captured inside the Poké Ball.

The Sewaddle gathered around, curiously looking at Natsume's Poké Ball.

Natsume picked up the Poké Ball and said, "Come on out, Swadloon."

Although she felt a bit regretful for not being able to take Leavanny, getting Swadloon was still a good outcome.

Natsume happily thought.

"Leavanny, can we take a break here and have some lunch?"

Leavanny nodded.

Leavanny's camp was conveniently located next to a river.

Natsume set up a cooking station by the riverbank.

Task 2 was to explore the Forest River.

After eating, Natsume could explore along this river.

As she cooked the Hearty Grains, Natsume took out three Exp. Candy.

Natsume considered whether to give all to Dragonair to help it quickly break through to Gym Leader level, or to give one to Servine to help it complete evolution.

After thinking for a moment, Natsume made her decision.

Level 50 is a major milestone for Pokémon.

If a trainer can have a level 50 Pokémon, they have the capability to apply for registration as a gym leader.

In reality, most city gyms have only one or two Pokémon that exceed level 50.

"Dragonair."

Natsume called Dragonair to her side and then took out the three Exp. Candy that provide a lot of experience.

"Dragonair~"

Dragonair opened its mouth and ate all three experience fruits.
