Pokémon Kyanite and Copper (Revised Version)

Later at the afternoon, by 3:07 p.m., Rico, Juan, and their Pokémon are walking from school to the Pokémon Gym run by Kolen, a gardening instructor and teacher who also runs a gardening school adjacent to the gym. And as they enter the gym's compound via the front gate, Juan expressed to Rico how excited he was for his daily training with Kolen.

"Yeah, me too as well," responded Rico back positively.

Riolu then responded back with happy positivity.

As they enter the main gym building, they saw Shion battling Kolen and his Pokémon, a Leafeon, a Grass-type, with her Absol. They were surprised to see her having a Pokemon battle with Kolen the gym leader.

"Woah, is that Shion over there?" Rico asked in response.

"I think so," answered Juan back. "I never seen her having a training with Kolen before." Oshawott then responded normally.

At last, Shion's Absol was defeated by Kolen's Leafeon, and Shion was disappointed by it.

"Aww, why I can't win?"

Kolen, a man with green hair and orange-brownish eyes, then responded to her a bit seriously, "You need more training. I had a lot of experience in battles."

This causes Shion to grumble a bit, before calling his Absol back and left the gym while avoiding eye contact with Rico.

Upon noticing that, Rico thought in his mind, "Why is she avoiding me?" This question shall be answered in the near future.

After that little setback, Rico, Juan, and their Pokémon went up towards Kolen, who was giving Leafeon a Pokémon treat after that battle, and greeted him with a good afternoon. Upon noticing them, Kolen got up and greeted them back, "Good afternoon to you, too, Rico and Juan."

But he noticed Riolu on Rico's shoulder, and got a bit surprised and shocked at the same time.

"Is that Riolu on your shoulder, Rico?" he asked Rico about it.

"Oh, yeah, it's my first ever Pokémon," answered Rico back honestly while scratching the back of his head a few times.

This shocks Kolen once more, before snapping out and commented, "Wow, and your now an official Pokémon Trainer, right?"

"Yes, and a professor named Campillo Nester gave me a Pokédex, A Trainer's License, and 10 Poké Balls," Rico responded back with positive confidence.

"Professor Campillo, eh? Oh, I knew about him."

This surprises Rico a bit.

"You knew about him?"

"Yes, actually, he was my close friend," explained Kolen in response.

"Oh, okay then," Rico responded back in getting what Kolen said to him.

After that, Kolen asked Rico and Juan if they are ready for their daily training.

"Yes, we are!" Rico and Juan responded back with confidence at the same time.
